I have always loved Benbrook Nail Bar and have been a loyal customer for years. Came in for my normal pedicure. Went to pay with a Gift card from less than a year ago I was told by Lena that the gift card had expired. She stated that Benbrook Nail Bar is under the same name but different management. I verified with the person that blessed me with a gift card and was informed that there was no expiration date upon purchase. I couldn't locate one on the gift card myself. I was asked if I had a receipt for the gift card of which Idid not.. I asked Lena if the expiration date was given at the time of purchase and she said no. She stated that they are honoring gift cards from former management but unfortunately that was not the case for me. She gave half off my service but my gift card went in the trash. I sure miss the former management who always took care of the customer. read more

I visited this nail salon on Sunday. I walked in with no appointment, picked a nail color and was told to have a seat and someone would be with me in 4 minutes. 15 minutes passed and no one had come to help me which was fine, no big deal. A white woman walks in, without an appointment also, and she was sat down and they started to work on her immediately. I got up and asked the front desk if she had an appointment and they said no and I walked out. It is 2025. My money is just as good as anyone else's. I had a dip manicure last night. Unfortunately, I wound up with six injured cuticles due to overly zealous filing. They are not bleeding any more, but they still hurt quite a lot today. I've been here multiple times in the past two years and most of the time I'm pretty happy with the service but the last couple times I've been there something is always off about my nails and even when I say something to correct it they make some kind of excuse as to why they can't make it perfect. My recommendation is if you get something simple this place is OK but if you want like ombre and designs and all that stuff it really depends on who you get so you might wanna go somewhere else if you're getting something with more detail. read more

I attempted to contact the establishment privately but they never responde. so I guess it warrants sharing. I had the collagen pedicure. The product was fine and the staff was friendly. But the quality of the pedicure I received from the tech is one of the worst I have ever hard over all the years I have been doing pedicures. I still tipped her because I know this is how she supports her family, but the service was disappointing. It seemed she did nothing more than rub the tools around on my feet. Trimming and cuticle removal was poor, scrubbing of feet had no pressure and not effective. As a matter of fact, she was rubbing the callus remover tool side to side (on the short direction vs long direction) which doesn't do anything. The rubbing/massage and stone massage had no pressure what so ever. I am just disappointed as I was trying to treat myself to a relaxing day and this was way short of what any customer should expect; and I think I'm pretty forgiving and not a high maintenance person. read more

So my sister and I went in about 15 minutes after 6 PM last night. Went in as usual they were very accommodating. However, when we were getting ready to pay, we were asking them how much they were charging. My sister just got a set with gel and they were going to charge her $90! I asked how much mine was, I have real nails nothing extra and asked for dip. They told me $52 to remove artificial nails. I did not have artificial nails I never pay more than $40. Then they continued to say that my sister Had powder dip which she never does. They charge $60 for a full set. They were going to charge her an additional $30 to remove her old nails, and put gel on the new. I believe since we were the last people in there, they were just going to charge us whatever and think we would not care. However, we were completely taken aback by the additional charges they were making on us. We have never walked out of a nail salon paying almost $100 for a set of nails. And then to charge an additional $10 for my real nails to remove something that wasn't even a factor was very bothersome. Anyways, I do not recommend this place. I believe in the past they have done very well with us, but the overcharging of things that weren't even a factor is not good business. If you're gonna charge an extra $30 to remove nails and do a new set they need to make that very clear. And they did not. And all they did was continue to argue with us. Take your chances if you want. There are so many better places out there. read more

I really enjoyed my time. Everyone who works here is so sweet and attentive. They move quickly and you're not in the waiting area for long at all. I've been going here for 5 years and used to love it but the last two times have been very subpar. The person who did my manicure was in such a rush, I have gel polish just globbed on my nails. The $75 pedicure wasn't worth it AT ALL. Even the polish was messed up but it's okay, they put glitter over it. Terrible experience. I showed the nail tech a photo of a red French tip. I walked out with a brown cat eye design. It was wrong on so many levels. The manager tried to tell me it was better than what I asked for after he realized she did not understand my request. She kept apologizing. It looked terrible (see photo), and worse yet- I paid $50, and it took another nail salon over an hour to remove the gel. She had multiple layers of gel done incorrectly on my nails. read more

By far the worst pedicure. Everything felt rushed from picking my polish color to the actual service. The employee did everything as if she were on a time crunch. The nail polish I ended up choosing was old and no longer worked so the employee had to bring me other options. I was never offered a beverage after I saw the manager ask other clients and they weren't even busy. Lastly, it hasn't even been a week and my nail polish is already chipping.
