The pedicure chairs are fantastic and give a great massage while you're getting polished up. I've done gel manicures, dipping powder and regular polish here. My favorite is the dipping powder polish. If you haven't tried it, you MUST. It lasts forever and doesn't chip or lift. Frank did my dips both times and he does an excellent job. I gave this place 3 stars for the personality and sweetness of the ladies. They are soooo nice and polite and make getting my nails done comforting. However, I went in there earlier this week to get a stiletto nail look. Key word: STILETTO. As in, I wanted them extremely pointy. However, I received a round point almond stiletto hybrid. Which I dislike highly. I guided the nail lady on how I like to do my nails and she still couldn't grasp the concept that I wanted my nails POINTY. Trying to tell me "oh that's too sharp" ....ok but that's what I'm paying for though?ok. And my foundation of the powder on my nails are EXTREMELY lumpy and uneven. Like it's so ugly I'm about to take them off. Then I came in the next day to get my toes done and honestly because I just assumed they didn't know how to do the stiletto so I wasn't going to stop me from giving them another chance. I walked into the nail shop at 6:09pm, already knew what color I wanted (the same color I got the night before on my hands) there were about 3/4 people before me getting pedicures. I understand. But I wasn't even HELPED until ATLEAST 7:15 and all I wanted was a polish change I waited an hour 15 minutes plus just for a 2 minute job. The speed of service was absolutely awful. NEVER WILL I EVER BE BACK!! I came in as a walk in the day after thanksgiving (yesterday). I needed a fill and a repair. The woman, Shayla, did my nails and sent me on my way. As i get in the parking lot to get in my car, 2 nails break off. I couldn't go back in right then and there because i was already running late for a family members birthday party. Today I go back in and I tell Shayla what happened and she instantly blames me. "You need to be careful with long nails".. She took me to the room and first put wax in my eyebrow, and I simply informed her a third time that I wanted threading, which the salon clearly advertise on the front of their salon. A different lady came in, and threading my eyebrows so THIN!! I was about to breakdown at that point. I could not believe what she did. I gathered my composure and thanked them for their service. I'm torn because the prices are good, but I had to have my gel nails redone after just a week because they started lifting. When I came back to show them my nails and request the polish be redone one of the ladies said they would only charge me to redo the polish. I had to tell them it should be free because the gel nails should last 2 weeks at least. They didn't charge me, but it was like they were doing me a favor. I had a set of dip powder nails done here and the tips started peeling within four days. I have been getting gel and dip powder for years and I've never had this happen. When I went back that same week to ask if they could repair a nail that had peeled and cracked to the point that my real nail was bare I was told by one of the nail techs "I don't have time". I just kind of stared at her because I couldn't believe that she'd just said that to a paying customer. She then looks around the room (which only had four other customers being serviced) and says "We busy" and proceeds to walk off and no longer acknowledge me. First and foremost let me start buy saying I always try to see the good in the bad. So the fact she stayed late and took 5(?) off was good. BUT that was it. I came in with a previous full set and asked for a pedi, take off and a new solar set with white tip. The pedi went fine, but then I got to the solar set. After insisting (more than 3 times) I get gel instead of solar she finally caved and was going to give me what I asked, or so I thought. She then preceded to file down my nail extremely low and try to put the solar over the old acrylic. So then, again, I had to explain I wanted the old set TAKEN OFF. She only, finally, took them off once she had realized I wanted them longer and had cut them too short. As if that wasn't a hassle enough, she got aggravated and when she was cutting them (to take them off) she was rough and hurt my fingers. Then once she FINALLY began to put the solar set on, she filed my nails so harshly that I have 3 cuts on 3 separate fingers and all of my fingers are sore. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I've never had to argue with a nail salon over what I'm wanting and asking for as a paying customer, and I have NEVER had a salon treat my nails so roughly. I was given the gentleman to do my powder dip both times. I wasn't super happy about how they turned out the 1st time. He missed getting the powder on my entire nail, but beyond that they were ok. The pedicure, done by a female was great. Decided to give it another try. He did better getting the powder on the entire nail this time. I did one nail a different color and it was put on very thick. I asked him to file it down thinner. Was still not to my liking and asked him to do more. He got an attitude and said "only a little more ok" in a rather snappy tone. He also made my cuticle bleed with his electronic file, which was a tad painful. I wasn't happy with the final results. He had another customer waiting at this point. This place is fantastic! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the amount of time I had to wait. I was immediately welcomed and seated in a spa chair upon entering, but then sat with my feet soaking in the water for over an hour. During that time, my massage chair was turned on and they kept the complimentary wine refilled. When they did finally get to me, they really took their time and focused on me. Someone came by to soak off my gel polish, and a few minutes later someone else finished taking them off and filed my nails. Lan was meticulous with both my pedicure and the remainder of my gel manicure. I've always had problems with calluses building quickly on my feet, but Lan took the time that most people won't to remove them. I've found my new regular nail place, but I'll definitely be making an appointment from now on. read more
