Gabriella M.

was sad to see such bad reviews. loved the place i thought they did a really job with my mani pedi. i know my aunt uses jenny and she charges i believe 35$ for dip if that helps anyone out. i paid 80 (no including tip) for dip/ acrylic (nails) and shellac on my toes. in san antonio i wouldve had to pay 90 (no including tip) so saving 10$ and they did a great job. no complaints.

This is my cup that I got as a gift I wanted an ombré look, gold and white with sparkles.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would! THEY ARE HORRIBLE ! I ignored all the other reviews and worst mistake ever I told a lady I wanted gel nails for my wedding day, just like my cup and she said she could easily do that she had samples laid out and she said she didn't have those gel colors, why set out gel colors out if you don't have them ? Anyways I asked her if she'd could do short gel nails on me she said yes I could do them. She painted them and I told her I didn't like them they are not like my cup! And she said she was going to charge me $20 to take them off and she said it's okay I'll take them off for you, she starts screaming and saying "bad luck go away" anyways these nails are for my wedding and she completely messed them up. She wanted to charge me $20 for a plain set and she was going to take them off. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE PLEASE DONT GO THERE ! Don't waist ur time and money !

Even if there are bad reviews for this place they are rare experiences because me and everyone I know that goes here loves it. The prices are reasonable, shaping good, versatile techs, thorough, friendly and will talk to you, and really quiet and relaxing. Would choose this over a fancy decorated nail bar any day. Best experience I've had at a nail place

This was my first time and I didn't have any high expectations, but I'm definitely impressed. I got service right away and there was no funny business with the prices. I just wish there was a list somewhere so I could have seen all the options before sitting down. The room was really clean and the two nail technicians that helped me where really nice without being pushy. I had ample amount of time to choose what I wanted. I got dip for the first time. It took about an hour. Overall good experience!

My sister took me to Allure yesterday while I'm visiting, and I was surprised to find that it was not overwhelmed with fumes like most salons! I was greeted with a smile as well. This salon offers a variety of services. I got a deluxe pedi and am quite pleased. Also, the wine they served me was delicious. Great prices too! I highly recommend this salon.

Great business for nails pedicures and other treatments!

I've been going here for quite a while and service has either been great or terrible…read more This most recent time was just the final straw for me. Within a single day my gel manicure was already lifting at the cuticle. Within a week, chipping and lifting on multiple nails. This was a gel manicure so I expected it to last much longer. She really rushed the manicure and massage was just rubbing oil on, this is typically the difference between a full set and mani. I don't have time to constantly run back and forth to the nail salon so this is just irritating. I'm not sure if the product they're using isn't good quality any more or what it is but we had 3 different colors so it isn't just one product lacking. Both of my daughters normally get gel polish. Some times we have one or two come off after two weeks which is expected but my youngest daughter's gel polish fully pealed off of one toe nail the next day. There was also a misunderstanding with the pricing. We normally just do gel polish for $15, no pedicure. This time they asked if we wanted just to go ahead and get a pedicure, we've done this in the past at other places but some charge more than others so I verify prior. One worker said oh just $20, I clarified that we will be doing gel and said yes $20. I reiterated that we would be doing gel so I asked again, the $20 is for gel pedicure and she said yes. So I figured they may be running some sort of promotion this time. Wrong. We get to check out and I'm being charged $35 per child. I explained I asked more than once and reiterated that this was for gel and a pedicure and worker confirmed. After being a little more stern I explained that worker may have misunderstood but I wouldn't be paying an extra cost since I made multiple efforts to clarify. She then said they would offer a discount, it's not a discount when that was the price agreed but okay. I'm just very disappointed with the way their quality has deteriorated.

When someone is spending around $200, time and attention to detail should come with that, and unfortunately, that hasn't been consistent. The lack of time taken is clearly leading to mistakes. During my most recent visit, I got a pedicure and brought my own base coat, polish, and top coat. The technician applied layer after layer of polish without allowing proper drying time, which caused it to smear. I followed the instructions and waited the recommended 10 minutes. By the time I got to my car, my first big toe had already smeared. I decided to leave it alone, went home, and sat through an entire movie. After that, when I got up, my second big toe had smeared as well. I had to return to get it fixed, which should not happen after spending that kind of money. Although a different technician corrected it and took her time, that level of care should have been there from the start. I appreciate that it was fixed, but at the same time, I paid for a completed service the first time. I understand this is a business and there's a desire to move quickly and accommodate as many customers as possible, but long term success comes from making each client feel valued. Rushing through services to get to the next person creates a poor experience and impacts quality. I also did not appreciate being pushed to upgrade to gel when I had already decided on what I wanted. I was there with my daughter as well, and while we were accommodated, the overall experience still felt rushed. At this point, I'm not sure if I'll return. If I do, it will only be for Jenny. Her customer service is a 10 out of 10. She is patient, attentive, and takes the time to walk you through options. She even recommended polishes I had never tried before. She consistently greets me warmly, checks on me throughout my visit, and makes the experience feel personal. If I were rating Jenny alone, it would easily be a 10 out of 10.

However, when she asked if I wanted lotion on that leg I said no 2x and lotion was put on leg around tattoo. I should have received a leg massage and I jokingly said just do double on the other leg. I did not receive a leg massage at all . This is my favorite part. The polish I chose was not good-they brought different ones and I picked one I liked. I put on my finger nail to test and it was not offered to remove. Maybe my mistake for not asking but it was obvious. The place is very large and they have a big selection for colors. The massage chair is fantastic. She also gave recommendations on how to take care of a tattoo - Vaseline-just Google it -DO NOT USE! I've been coming to this nail salon for months and getting the same thing several times but today was the first time they charged me like this. I honestly thought I finally found a nail salon that I liked but I was so disappointed today. When trying to ask about the additional charges the girl in the front dismissed me by saying "I don't know, that's what the nail tech is charging you!" She looked very annoyed but I was just trying to understand why the price was different than all the other times I had been there. 1st issue: I went for a builder gel fill and was charged $65. Last time I got my nails done, the nail tech told me they would be $55 the next time I came in for a fill. 2nd issue: I was charged an extra $5 for a cut down. I always keep my nails at sports length so being charged extra for a cut down was ridiculous because my nails were not long to begin with. 3rd issue: I was charged an extra $5 for shaping. I did not ask for any type of extra shaping. I walked in with my nails already squared shaped. If I would have received extra services then I would gladly pay for them but that's not the case. It was a complete scam! I will not get my nails done here again! The only reason why I am giving them 2 stars is because the ladies doing the pedicures do an amazing job! If I return, it will only be for a pedicure!! I uploaded a picture of my nails so you can see what a $95 fill looks like at this nail salon.

These are porous tools, and these were very much visibly used. I immediately felt uncomfortable and asked the nail tech to stop. At this point, my nails had two (2) nail tip extensions on my big toes (incomplete) and she trimmed two (2) nails. When bringing up my concern at the front, I was just told "sorry about that" and proceeded to be charged $25 for what was already done. I'm really distraught about this past visit. I've been going here on the regular for a few years…read morenow for pedicures. Always great service. Now to my birthday. I decided to treat myself to builder gel. I went in specifically asking for builder gel. I said I wanted my nails short. Just past my finger tips. I wanted builder gel. I wanted natural pink. I had a photo of what I hoped to get. Realistic. Nothing crazy at all. I started with my pedicure. No issue there. It was great. Then they come to do my hands. I've not had my nails done in years. Many years. So they put the tips on and cut them down. Then start dipping. I'm not sure if this is the process. Well it isn't. I ended up with dip nails. I didn't want to switch up and make them remove it after they'd already started so I just let them finish. That's on me because I'm very non confrontational and just do what's easiest even if it's at my expense. Well they also did no clean up or cuticle work. And I asked several times to fix crooked nails and it never was right. So I left with crooked thick nails, ragged cuticles and dip on the cuticle and surrounding skin. Now I know. Some of it is on me. I couldve made them start over. But I shouldn't have to. I showed a photo of what I wanted. Color and very short natural look. I asked for builder gel at the beginning. Dip should've never been anywhere near me. My ignorance of the process was a factor but it shouldn't have been. I came home and had to clean up my own nails. File to shape properly and fix all the crookedness. Pedicures are fine. Nails? I'll probably go somewhere else from now on.

Familiarity and convenience kept me returning, but after my most recent visit, I believe it may be time for a change. My son and I came in for pedicures and I also planned to get my usual dip manicure. In the past, they would begin my nails while I was getting my pedicure, but that did not happen this time. Because of the long wait, I decided to skip the dip and just have it removed. I was charged $10 for the dip removal and $20 for the file down/no color or anything. And during the process, the technician actually broke one of my nails. Then comes the pedicure quality, which is why I had to return today. There were visual streaks in the polish and nail polish on my nail bed. When they attempted to correct it, a technician selected a polish color without asking what shade I wanted. When I asked to see the color book so I could choose the correct one, she left the polish she selected and walked away without correcting it. I sat for about six minutes before someone else finally came over to assist me. Thankfully, another technician brought the color book and I was able to select the right shade. She corrected it without hesitation, but this was not the first time I had to return to have something corrected the next day. After being a loyal customer for several years, the last year of experiences have been met with frustration and disappointment.
