I have recommended Pearl to a few people since it's opened, but sadly I will have to refrain from that and move on. After disappointing service for a wedding party I was with, to the gel nail that didn't even solidify for the wedding, to the cut toe and ugly set I got today, I'm finished. The lite glitter I requested as a top coat makes ONE big toe looks like a bottle of glitter got dumped on it! Best pedicure!! So, because mani-pedis are my hobby...I like to think that I know a good pedicure! I just had the most amazing pedicure yesterday by Phillip. The pedicure was not rushed due to the people waiting and he used a nice firm pressure when massaging (who wants a girlie massage anyway?). This is my second time and again I was very pleased with Pearl Nails. My friend and I came in for a Mani-Pedi and two hours later we were so pleased and happy. We came in around 2pm for our appointment on a Thursday and they sat us right away. It was a good time to come because it didn't seem too crowded and they weren't rushed. I chose the No.2 package pedi, that was $30 and I selected the rock massage. I had Paul, who gave me the best foot massage and did an awesome job on my toes. He gave me a cute flower design for my big toes and his attention to detail was excellent. Seriously though, if you love foot massages, he's the one to ask for. I also had Vin, who did my Gel French Mani. She was super nice and she too did an excellent job on my nails. I was very pleased with her attention to detail as well. I picked a glitter color that was similar to my toes and she enhanced it with color first and then glitter. It turned out better than I had expected and she gave me gems & floral design on my ring fingers. I appreciated that this place didn't smell like chemicals and everything was super clean. They have one of the best massaging chairs with multiple options, but just to warn you, the lower body & hip option might surprise you where you may not expect it. Also, being with my friend, it was nice to be able to talk with her and not have to yell beyond any loud music. It was quite small and cozy with only 8 chairs. I asked my friend if she'd come back and she said definitely! This is our new choice for nails and a our hangout place for some good-ol-girl time and awesome hand/foot massage. read more

Not only were the over the top expensive, the lady doing my nails cut several of my fingers with the electric nail file. I have nail polish all over my fingers. They charged extra since I had a broken nail which I have never had to pay for before. The staff was rude and spoke rudely to other clients. Do NOT go here unless you have money to throw away! I was so disappointed with my pedicure. I had a basic pedicure done, first off, my nails were not properly cut straight across, instead they were cut and filed on an angle. Second, after she finished painting my nails, she was fanning them with the menu and hit my toes, smudging one! She said it was okay and I could not see and smudge from my point of view. I noticed it as I was getting ready to leave that it was smudged. I asked her to fix it which she gladly did, but then she messed up a second time! She started over on my big toe and quickly painted two coats without letting the first coat dry. I was so tired of sitting there that I left even though it still looked like crap because the first coat had not even dried before she applied the second coat. Less than 24 hours after getting my pedicure, the polish on my other big toe chipped! I could have done this on my own, no need to pay $30 for this! Also the skin around my toes was not buffed or filed down, it just looks like crap. I have been here twice before and it was decent, but this time I'm never going back. read more

Was visiting Auburn and had the time for a pedicure. This place was open on a Sunday which was super convenient. Katie did my pedi and did a great job. Paid $5 extra for the exfoliating massage and that was the best $5 spent! Massage on the feet and lower leg was super relaxing and dealt with a few sore spots. I have been coming here for awhile now but lately the staff they have working has been very disappointing. I have had multiple occasions where I have had to come back after getting my nails done due to them chipping or breaking. Not even a week after I had them done. Not only this, but to have to take time out of my schedule to come back and be left waiting for 20 minutes before getting helped. If a loyal customer has to return due to lack in performance they should be helped within a decent time frame. Not left waiting while others that walk in behind them are being helped. This place used to be 5 stars to me. The last time I went there as a walk in for a gel manicure because "walk ins welcome" is a sign on the door. The young guy said he was available and shoved the gel nail colors keychain thing in my hands. He rushed me to sit down then demanded that I soak one hand while I was fumbling and rattling with the already unwieldy colors in the other. I protested twice and finally when he demanded several times I put my hand in the soaking water then tried to pick a color one handed. Clearly he was rushing me so he could leave early. Finally when I dropped the colors I said "never mind" and got up and left to find a gracious and helpful nail artist. They permanently lost a customer of 2 years due to careless arrogance and treating me like crap. read more

Been here a few times before and they did do a good job, but my five star is definitely for a woman there named Mai. I first had my pedicure done by her and she was not only amazing at massaging but my toes turned out perfect. Today I saw her for a gel manicure and she was equally good! It's great when you find someone who is SO good at the massaging part but also great at the manicure. She takes her time and every nail is painted perfectly. It turns out so clean and even looking. No nail looks uneven or oddly shaped and the lines of the polish are consistently even. Really natural and beautiful! It's an alright salon. I've been there a few times and the employee's are decently pleasant and the sanitation of the instruments seems good. However, Each time I go I get cut multiple times when they cut my nails. It seems like they are more concerned with speed than doing a neat and thorough job. First time visit with my mom and they were very busy. All the seats were taken for manicures, we were acknowledged right away but they took us at separate times and put us at opposite sides of the room. I don't discriminate on gender but the man who did my full set of fake nails did not do a great job. My left hand had 3 crookedly shaped nails, my right hand had shorter nails. First of all. They have a 20% off but their prices are over priced. The quality of a regular full set acrylic nails are horrible. I had to return the exact same day as I went to get my nails, to reshaped because they were uneven. Also, not even a week later my nails had looked like I've had them for weeks. They looked destroyed. I went to another nail salon to get them fixed. The other nail solon had told me they didn't even use a gel over my nails. They simply just used regular clear nail polish. Went in to Pearl Nails for the 1st time today because a friend took me. It's not the salon I go to, but I have heard that it's a very good salon. I found it to be a pretty and up to date salon and with very nice people. I had the hot rock message and it was really nice and soothing. The woman who did my pedicure was very friendly and did a great job. I like that there wasn't a TV and instead they play relaxing, low background music.
