When I first came in, I specifically told the woman that **I did not want the polish on my toes changed**. I only wanted my feet exfoliated/scrubbed. Despite telling her that, she proceeded to remove my toenail polish anyway. At that point, since my polish had already been taken off, I basically had to choose another color and have my toenails redone--and then I was charged for that portion of the service when it was never what I originally asked for. Things became even more frustrating when it came to my nails. The first technician apparently did not do acrylic nail sets. Instead of explaining that to me upfront, she repeatedly tried to talk me into getting gel polish instead and asked me **three separate times** if I was sure I wanted acrylics. She then began trying to remove my existing gel/acrylic product in a way that was extremely uncomfortable. At one point, it felt like my natural nails were going to be ripped off. Only afterward did it become apparent that she was essentially waiting for another technician to become available to actually do my acrylic set. None of this was clearly communicated to me beforehand. When the second technician finally took over, she was using **two different phones while doing my nails**. At different points she appeared to be looking something up related to doing my nails while also having a personal phone conversation with her boyfriend. When I tried to speak to her, I felt like I was inconveniencing her. The interaction was not warm or professional, especially considering how long I had already been sitting there. I specifically asked for **cat-eye nails**, and even that was disappointing. Very little time was spent creating the cat-eye effect--it looks more like a single line across the nail than the dimensional cat-eye look I requested. One of my nails is also noticeably crooked. I was in this salon for **approximately FIVE HOURS**. After being given a service on my toes that I initially said I did not want, being passed from one nail technician to another without clear communication, having someone improperly attempt to remove my existing nails, sitting through personal phone conversations, and then leaving with a crooked nail and a design I wasn't happy with, I was charged **$285**. For $285, I expected an entirely different level of service, professionalism, communication, and quality. I rarely leave reviews like this, but this experience was frustrating from beginning to end. I left feeling like I paid a premium price for a service that was unnecessarily stressful, took nearly five hours, and still did not give me the result I asked for. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend this salon based on my experience. If I could put negative stars I would.

I noticed my nails were crooked when she started filing but decided to trust the process, they never got better. My whole left hand is slating to the right. I also asked for brown chrome. She put gold chrome over my brown which I guess could be my own fault for just assuming the chrome is the same everywhere. It's been 3 days and all the gold chrome is chipping off so roughly half my fingers are the brown color and half are the gold chrome. I will not be going back for nails ever

When we walked in the staff remembered her right away and even noted that they are glad to see her and it was sincere. During our visit my sister had a seizure which left her of course very upset as her seizures bring on intense fear prior and fear and sadness post seizure. The staff at Perfect Nails was SO VERY KIND AND COMFORTING WITH MY SISTER, it was beautiful. Then the owner told us about his recent heart attack and his philosophy for maintaining positivity. He was great with my sis and this staff has earned 10 stars from this big sister! THANK YOU PERFECT NAILS!! I will be back!!
