I usually make appointments for my services just in case it's a busy time. Today I met my daughter for manicures & pedicures. We are able to visit and have a nice relaxing experience. I decided to pick the cheaper ones since I was going to do a gel nail, which are usually more expensive When they told me it was five dollars to remove the jail in $15 to add gel pet on my pedicure. I said you know I'm just gonna do the basic package which was $35. we went on a Sunday to get a full set. they hurt my daughter and cut up her nails. Then they put chemicals on the cuts that made it burn in all throughout the day, after she got her nails done her fingers have been burning her. The lady tried to cover up her blood and cuts with nail polish. My nails were horrible a couple of the nails were put on crooked and when I tried to complain about it she told me they weren't until after it was done she noticed that I was right. She left them all lumpy and even the owner was trying to apologize and told me she would fix them but never came back and instead gave me only $10 off. I would never recommend this place. read more

We've been coming here for a while since it's the closest salon to our home. Service has been hit or miss, but it's convenient. Yesterday, my husband and I went for pedicures, and that will be our last time. The place was almost completely empty. They have at least 15 spa chairs, and only one was occupied. There were about 6 employees sitting around looking at their phones. We were seated; we decided to choose the least expensive pedicures because all of the extras don't do much anyway. The woman I had was so stunned...."you don't want number 2? You always get number 2!" I was surprised that she remembered us. I said "no, not today, we want to save a little money!" We then got the worst pedicures we've gotten so far. They were both in a huge rush to get us done and out of there. My person was very rough with me, I was constantly saying "ouch! Easy there!" I wasn't bleeding but when I got home I found two cuts on my toes and my husband has one. Only a couple of other customers came in while we were there so they never got busy. (3:00PM on a Tuesday) When they were done with us, they both went and sat down and got back on their phones, so it wasn't as if they had people waiting. Since they were not busy, and they recognized us as repeat customers, you'd think they would be more careful and not be in such a hurry. We won't be back. read more

Would not recommend this place. When I got here there was one other person. As I'm getting my nails done more people showed up I started to be rushed and she became rough with my nails cutting me with the nail file 3 times. Not only was I rushed my nails were super thick not shaped correctly each nail was a different length and shape the nail polish wasn't even and could see through it on multiple nails. This was my second time back to Pearl Nails after a terrible experience. I'm leaving this second time with fingers bleeding and not what I asked for. I asked for really short almond shape nails, because for my job I cannot have super long nails, instead I have 1 super short nail and the other 9 are way too long AND uneven. I did like the pedi I got but they advertise so badly that it looks like you're getting more in the pedi than you are. The lady doing my nails put chemicals on my cuts when I said it hurts and she did not stop. My mom asked to fix her nails. They said they would, but proceeded to help other customers. I walked over to this place after dropping my car off over at Best Buy to have work done to my delight. They take walk-ins. This is a relief for me since I won't have a car for a few hours. That is what walking distance and that they have an opening score. I waited maybe 10 minutes and was helped right away. The lady who worked on my nails today. Tina was very friendly very efficient very clean. I even saw her take some of the tools out of the green solution which made me feel at ease that they take sanitation very seriously at this location. This location is located in the same shopping center as Best Buy and Little Caesars pizza right in the corner, you can't miss them if you know where little Caesars is, they're right there. The whole thing took about maybe 30 minutes, but she took her time and when she saw her super long, she looked at me and asked me short and I said yes, and she did my nails exactly how I asked, and I was done with that timely manner This establishment offers, waxing services pedicures, and much more. If you haven't tried them I would recommend trying them great establishment, friendly staff, clean atmosphere clean establishment. I highly recommend pearl nails of Auburn. Greatest establishment. Went in on a hot Saturday afternoon and got told to wait. I waited about 5 mins. Walked over to the station to start my pedicure. The water was cold. Off to a bad start. Had to ask for warm water..then once she started actually doing the pedicure she clipped my toe causing me to bleed and she did not apologize. She did give one hell of a foot massage. It was to die for honestly. She then painted my toes..my almost 3yr could have done a better job honestly she painted the skin around my toe nails causing it to chip immediately when I took a shower that evening. read more

I went in for a pedicure. I was given an older guy. He had the water scalding, and I had to ask for cooler. He cooled it down, and had me put my feet in. He then got up and left for 5 mins... then came back and removed my polish. He then put my feet back in water and got up and left again for another 5-7 mins. He then came back and pulled my feet out and kind of pretended to file my nails for a minute. He then got up and left again for another 5 mins. He then did a horrible job of painting my nails.... he then got up and left again for at least 8 mins. So at this point, all he's done is burn my feet, use a drummer to remove my polish, and painted them horribly. Total of 5-6 mins of working on me. When he came back, he said - I'm going to give you a really good massage. At least 10 mins! I told him I wanted the #4 at the beginning, which was a $55 dollar pedicure, which includes callus removal, trimming away skin/cuticles, hot wax and 30 min massage. At this point, I'm furious. I told him to just skip my "massage". This was a complete joke. The guy clearly had no idea what he was doing! I've had multiple pedicures and I'm also a licensed cosmologist. This guy can't even have a license. They charged me $55!!! I called the front desk person when I left and told her how horrible my experience was and that I wanted to know how they think this was even acceptable?!? She said I should come in and have her do a pedicure for me. At this point, I never wanted to enter the building again. I think the state board needs to check all licenses there! I give this salon less than a 1 star, if that was an option. Zero stars should be an option! read more

Visited this salon yesterday as my regular salons was not available. My services were express pedicure and gel manicure with old removal of gel. I'm very disappointed with the results of this gel manicure. Most noteably because the male tech did not soak my gel for very long before he just started sanding everything off. He WAY OVER Filed and buffed my nails resulting in rough, thin nail beds. This is completely unnecessary in this day and age of gel manicures. He also used the filing tool on my cuticles, leaving me with unnecessary hangnails. The gel paint was done mediocrely, and the end result is lumpy painted nails because of my destroyed nail beds. I am not looking forward to the condition when it's time to take this gel off my Nails. Pros: this salon is taking great measures to ensure cleanliness during this time of pseudo-pandemic. Everyone was friendly and I received fast service. Salon was very clean and quiet. Nevertheless, I will not be back. The ruined nail beds is a hard stop for me. read more

During the manicure she did do the cuticles, but her instrument had skin from the previous person. Been going here fairly consistently for a few years before I took about a year off of getting my nails done. The girl I went to did a good job but she was not gentle and not friendly. First time going back recently with my daughter to get full sets was the worst experience I've had there to date. These two women who did our nails were clearly not properly trained and licensed. The worst nails both of us have ever had. My daughter was so unhappy we had to go straight to TK down the road to get hers fixed. We spent another $35 plus tip to get them fixed in addition to the $115 plus tip we wasted at Pearl. I'm never going back to Pearl. It's only been maybe ten days and one of my tips fell off and my nails look so terrible I'm going to TK today to get them redone.
