IT's been several years since I've come here. I typically get Mani or Pedi on a whim. The last time I came here a couple of months ago and they were booked so I went to the new place couple doors down and was disappointed. This time I called and they were able to squeeze me in for a Mani/Pedi. Lynn was my tech and she was so good!! She was so thorough. I can't believe how much time she took to care for my cuticles and soften my hands and feet. What I really appreciated is that she sanded a bit off the top of my nails since I have some tiny lines and ridges. No other salon or tech has taken that much time and effort as Lynn! Plus she gave me the best massage on my hands and feet, I wanted to sleep in the chair! . I'm very sad with my nails as I went and got my them done for vacation and requested Gel nails, the technician was great to work with when implementing a design but the quality of the polish is so bad. I only got them done 48 hours ago and my toe polish are already rubbing off and my finger already peeled (while on the airplane) so disappointed because now I'm on vacation and I wasted money to have to go to a salon over here to fix them. :( read more

Unsanitary conditions. Nail clippers and other nail tools were just rinsed under water at the sink. I watched them go into the technicians basket while I was waiting for my toe nails to dry. Before leaving I saw the same nail tools being used on another person. I will not take the chance to return. I've been going there many times and never noticed before. I'm usually reading. I'm updating my review to share that I continued coming here regularly for pedicures and manicures. I switched between a couple of ladies before seeing Tammy for several months. I no longer get my nails painted, just a manicure, but Cindy always made sure I was completely satisfied, which I truly appreciated. I haven't been back since I no longer work nearby. read more

I asked 3 times for Rounded edges. I had to tell the tech to file the nail after bc the nail and polish was so jagged. They take the lazy route and sand off gel polish and so much that there are burn marks on my toenails. I have polish missing from parts of the nail. Didn't ask what kind of pedicure I wanted. Massage was nothing. And the callus remover scrub was minimal. My heals are worse now bc they aren't smooth. I'm so disappointed. read more

I came in on Wednesday morning for a gel manicure and pedicure. I was very disappointed. The nail technician left polish on my skin, and the gel started chipping after only three days. I usually go to the nail salon next door, and now I really regret not going there instead. I would take pictures, but I'm not comfortable taking pictures of my feet. This location is very busy, so I wouldn't go without making an appointment, however it is definitely worth it. I love how the owner (Cindy) does nails, Nancy is the BEST at face waxing (she's quick, doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, and very reasonably priced compared to waxing salons) and Lynn gives amazing pedicures. This was my first time at Cozy Nails. My experience was excellent. Wanted a 4th of July theme - brought a picture & Kim duplicated it exactly. As the stripes on the flag on my big toe was drying, Kim noticed it looked crooked, so she redid the lines. Kim did a great mani & pedi - massage was really nice. So I called her today to get a A nail fill done and the grill fit me in at 3:30 this is my first time ever come into the salon to get my nails done I just figured I would try it out and see how it was given the fact that it's Sunday and not very busy because of football I thought it should be pretty quick well first thing I noticed upon coming in there is a station she had me sit out which was number five had a bunch of nails on it and hadn't been cleaned which I didn't see anything but I was just thinking that in between they should always have a clean table in general because of the fact that some people can get germs that way and when she start on my nails she was done by like 350 and my appointment was at 3:51 thing I noticed is that I didn't see anything in there sanitary solution I wish that when these nail salons would be coming to get peoples nails done that they would be more cleaner because of the fact that when going to salons it's one thing to do a nice job and take your time but another to rush me when there's literally only one customer behind me getting her nails done and your other customer didn't come in until 4 o'clock I just think that Kim could've taken her time and Not make me feel like I had to hurry up and get out of there the point I'm trying to make is that I've gone to several nail salons before and I recently moved to Lincoln last year I'm still learning a lot of the areas and I decided to get this nail salon a shot but I don't think I would come back again because of the fact that I felt very rushed I hope the salon will take my review and consideration Take it from me don't come here they rush rush rush read more

I have been having eyebrows threaded for years, but since the only threading place I know of is at the mall, and I hate going to the mall, I was open to going back to having my eyebrows waxed. I was in Cozy Nails, getting my nails done for a wedding (btw try their gel-ish for your next mani, it's your own nails with a polish that lasts way longer than regular polish). Kim offered to do my eyebrows, and I declined. I'm a little sketchy when it comes to having my eyeybrows waxed at a nail salon, they usually end up botching them. A lady had come in and specifically asked for Kim to do her eyebrows, I made sure to check out her eyebrows when she was done, and she did a good job. So I let Kim do my eyebrows. She did a great job! They actually look like they were threaded and not waxed, all for $8. Deal!! Ask for Kim! Back to the mani/pedi, I cannot say enough about the gelish. I'm not an acrylic, fake nail person, so having this option is great, and they are much cheaper than nail salons in Lincoln for the same thing! I'm so glad I found this place! read more

I won't be making a return visit here for the following reasons: 1) They used foot scrubbers and emery boards that had clearly been used before. That's how you get toenail fungus. Yuck! 2) The woman who did my pedicure cut the skin around my toes too closely on two toes and they are still sore 3 days later. 3) The polish job wasn't great. There was a considerable amount of polish left on the skin around the nails on many toes. 4) She was very distracted and took awhile to get started on me, which was problematic because I was on a time schedule. All in all, I wasn't happy with the nail job. My friend I came with seemed to be happy with hers, so maybe it depends on who you get. I didn't get the name of the woman working on me. However, the dirty tools were used on both of us, so... I won't be back. It was very busy, so maybe everyone isn't as concerned about that as I am. read more

This review is long overdue. About 1.5 years ago, yelper Ginny T had the cutest nails every time I saw her so I asked her where she got them done. She told me about Cozy Nails and I HAD to try it out. Ever since, I've been hooked!!! And so have my friends! Here are some reasons why Cozy is the bomb: 5) the people are so nice!! They know all their regulars like family. 4) they are perfectionists (well at least Nancy and Lena for sure). They take a lot of pride in making sure you leave with perfect nails. 3) if for any reason you aren't happy, they want to fix it for you (even if it's not their fault). I choose a horrible color once and I couldn't deal so Nancy took it all off and replaced it with another color. I felt bad but inside I was so happy to not be stuck with a color id dread for weeks 2) it's so clean. Definitely the cleanest nail salon I've been to. They're always cleaning!! 1) the cost for what you get is unparalleled. The nail polish stays on noticeably longer than other manis/pedis I've gotten, the massages are great, and it's definitely less expensive than most places. The massage chairs are also fabulous. Kim is the best! she does great gel manicure and pedicure she's also amazing with designs! On a few occasions I have brought her pictures and she copies the artwork on to my nails and other times I just tell her to do whatever you want because I know it's always going to look wonderful! she can do really cool and unique designs for any holiday. I went here to get my nails done for a work event. Full set and pedicure. I called ahead of time to find out the prices and they said it was $22 for a full set and $22 for a pedicure (I thought it was a good deal because I usually pay $70). When I got there, I ended up getting a special pedicure which was $30 for a scrub, mask, massage and parrafin wax. It was a nice treat to myself. The girls were all really nice.. For my full set I ended up getting gels cause they recommended it since it lasts longer. So it ended up being just as much as where I usually go in the end ($70 plus i tipped each girl that helped me $7) but its closer to home and they do a good job. read more
