My nail tech, Lily, seemed rushed through the entire appointment, and unfortunately the quality of my nails reflects that. For the amount I paid, I expected much better attention to detail and left unhappy with the final result. My daughter and I went to Artistic Nails in Lincoln on a Saturday. Even though they were pretty busy, they were able to get us in right away without an appointment, which was awsome! Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. My daughter wanted a full set with a specific design in mind. At first, she was with Nina, but after seeing the design, Nina admitted she wasn't confident in doing the artwork and suggested Kim instead. I really appreciated her honesty and that she didn't just try to do something she wasn't comfortable with, which could have turned out poorly. Kim did the design exactly as my daughter wanted, and she absolutely loved her nails. Her set came to $67. I treated myself to a mani/pedi. Nina did my pedicure, and I chose the Deluxe option. She let me know that for just $3 more I could upgrade to the VIP pedicure, which included extra treatments, so I went for it and I'm glad I did! The pedicure was relaxing, and lasted a long time. Nina was wonderful and so sweet. ($52) Jenny did my manicure with gel polish, and she was also very kind and did a fantastic job. ($36) We both left super happy with our nails. The manicurist was too lazy to use a cuticle stick to push my cuticles back so she used a drill instead. But this last time i went there was terrible service. waste of $70 because i had to come home and redo my pedicure myself. first off i asked for Jenny and the woman said yes shes available but when i get there she just started on someone else... annoying then some other lady started on my pedicure while my bf (who also had an appointment) had to wait 30min to start his. then lets get to the main event- lady who did my toes did a half assed job. all my toe nails were cut crooked. terrible polish job for a french tip. totally missed the sides of my nail. the massage was rough and hurt at times. overall terrible experience. shocking that they have 4 stars because ive never been wowed by them. but this time was just plain sad. no talent at all. no attention to detail at all. im a cosmetologist and know better than to ever waste my time or money here again. read more

I have bounced around several salons in Lincoln, and many are quite good. But after my experience today at Artistic Nails, I will never go anywhere else! My $40 spa pedicure included paraffin and one of the better massages I have at a nail salon. Lots of color choices l, no hard upsell for gel, which I don't use because it weakens my nails in the long run. Ambiance was very pleasant: soothing color palette, nothing crooked, and no irritating TVs. The massage chairs were excellent and easy to get in and out of, which is important for anyone with mobility issues like my elderly mom. But what sold me was the service I received for my mom, who has dementia. They were INCREDIBLE and kind with her, which allowed me to actually relax, too. I am just so grateful!! read more
