I love this place and the staff! I moved here 3 years ago and tried just about every nail Salon in Lincoln. Artistic nails is by far the best. My daughter and I went to Artistic Nails in Lincoln on a Saturday. Even though they were pretty busy, they were able to get us in right away without an appointment, which was awsome! Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. My daughter wanted a full set with a specific design in mind. At first, she was with Nina, but after seeing the design, Nina admitted she wasn't confident in doing the artwork and suggested Kim instead. I really appreciated her honesty and that she didn't just try to do something she wasn't comfortable with, which could have turned out poorly. Kim did the design exactly as my daughter wanted, and she absolutely loved her nails. Her set came to $67. I treated myself to a mani/pedi. Nina did my pedicure, and I chose the Deluxe option. She let me know that for just $3 more I could upgrade to the VIP pedicure, which included extra treatments, so I went for it and I'm glad I did! The pedicure was relaxing, and lasted a long time. Nina was wonderful and so sweet. ($52) Jenny did my manicure with gel polish, and she was also very kind and did a fantastic job. ($36) We both left super happy with our nails. My nail tech, Lily, seemed rushed through the entire appointment, and unfortunately the quality of my nails reflects that. For the amount I paid, I expected much better attention to detail and left unhappy with the final result. First time customer. The shop is small and was packed! I was greeted upon arrival which was great. I agreed to get a pedicure and builder gel manicure. They did not have a menu for nails which was odd to me. I was told gel nails was the same price as builder which can't be right because of the work to build the apex. Whatever, I agreed I wanted to give builder gel a try. Every color I picked, the polish was not available, only gel. I wanted to give my natural nails a break due to other shops being rough and not properly soaking the polish off. But I was somewhat forced into paying for gel on my toes too because every color was out of stock. She was very gentle with removal which turned into my down fall because so much dead skin was lift behind in my cuticles. My builder set almost came out perfect. However my finger is sore due too much nail filing. A couple of my nails side walls are thin, unpainted, and cuticles flooded with product. She used every drill bit and still I'm without a perfect manicure. Wow I forgot about the nipper. The nipper that was used that yanked the dead skin off instead of cutting. I honestly should have said I would wait until my pedicure was done to get my mani so I could watch the process more. I'm a tough crowd to please and have feet that require tender love and care. I ended up paying $112 for the pedicure and builder gel manicure, and left a $20 tip smh. This place has potential but I don't think I will be returning. Too much guidance is needed and too crowded. read more

I checked online for the price and when I sat down, they asked me how I wanted the nails after I told them I wanted a full set she said $60 I saw online their pricing for $29 for white tip full set they laughed at me and said you'll never get that for that price so I showed them the website And the price I quoted was correct on the website. I think it was the owner who said sorry the price is wrong on the site so I proceeded to getting the next cheapest which was 39 for a full set with no gel they started talking in their language and laughing, and the girl did a half ass job. The manicurist was too lazy to use a cuticle stick to push my cuticles back so she used a drill instead.
