Welp, that didn't last long.... Two days after getting my nails done, two nails fully popped off and then when I went back, they still charged me $5 to get them fixed and they remembered me so I thought it should of been free but whatever it is fine. Then 2-3 days after that so that is a total of 5 days of getting a full gel set FOUR MORE NAILS CAME OFF!! I paid $80 for them to LAST FIVE DAYS for a very special event. Unfortunamely, the place I have gone to for years for pedicures has gone down hill. Last year I had a gel pedicure that came off within a week. My normal person was off that day. The next time I went to Kevin and basically the same. The gel came off. I recently went back before my beach vacation and asked for Kevin again. He is a really nice guy and very personable. His pedicures used to good. I got home and inspected my nails. Worst job I have experienced anywhere. My nails were cut extra short on a few toes and uneven. The worst part was the gel was overlapping on my skin. the gel did not flake off but was peeling off where it was on my skin. Pedicures are so expensive. I will not be giving Kathy's nails my business again. read more

The service is great. But the quality is something I can't return. I've been here a few times. And every time the polish on my pedicure doesn't last. It's probably a catch so you come back sooner. When I go to other salons it lasts for like 2 months. Here I'm lucky for it to last a week. Every time I pick a color they start to paint. Than leave and add a solution to the polish. Which comprises the integrity. And continue to apply making the polish not last. Not documenting on that bottle that it's already had an additive. And put it back. Repeat. Instead of "Oh this bottle is empty". Let's get a new bottle. If the nail polish bottle is getting empty than replace it. It's that simple to maintain quality. NOT QUANTITY!!! Okay if you're not super nitpicky about cuticle grooming, shaping, and jagged side walls. Service took 45 minutes. The tech didn't ask me for my feedback often, but I'm moderately vocal when a nail needs to be filled in or filed down more. After the tech used tools on me I saw him put them back in a bin labeled "clean." My set wasn't insanely expensive tho so I can't complain too much. I am super picky about my nails... I can not say how much I L-O-V-E Kathys for my nails and toes! Amber is absolutely fabulous! She's quick yet every time my nails are perfect! I love that they have so many options of gel colors and gel powder. The staff is so kind and accommodating. I think They charge approx $50 + tip for a pink and white full and $25ish for a fill. Worth every penny! I love getting their special pedicure. The staff turned me on to the gel polish for my toes... I could never go back to regular polish, for a few $$ more your toes are flawless until your next appointment. Can't recommend them enough! read more

This was my second time getting a pedicure at Kathy's. The first time was a fail, but I thought I'd give them a second chance. Everyone has an off day, right? I couldn't be more disappointed! My gel pedicure looks awful. The paint is bumpy and thick. To top it off, as the technical waited for the UV light to finish, he started clipping his nails with the same clippers he was using on me. What the heck?! There was another nail technician who sat at a nail station, watching her phone, & loudly cracked sunflower seeds while making smacking noises (close your mouth while you eat!) the entire time. I'm grossed out, irritated, and frustrated that I wasted $50 on a subpar service that I'll have to have redone. If you're thinking about coming here? DON'T! read more

I have been searching for a really good nail salon since I moved. I've tried 4 others and wasn't really satisfied including one that only took cash - can we say shady?? I tried Kathy's on a whim and I have been back a few times. They are very nice people, their prices are reasonable and the salon is clean. They just got new massage chairs which is great! I usually get a gel pedicure and a no-color manicure. If you want something done differently, you just need to speak up! They will listen! I also like the fact that you can pay for the service a number of ways including Venmo. If you are looking for a consistently good nail salon, I recommend Kathy's! read more

Would not recommend. Lumpy and uneven gel on Toes and dip on nails. I asked for a manicure that included my cuticles completely ignored my request and started on dip right away. My nails feel granular and you can see the lumps! Save yourself the money and go somewhere else. read more

This place is horrible. My friends and I had appointments on Saturday for manicure and pedicure. They were not ready for us, there were 4 of us that went. They guy that did my nails was more concerned about what everyone else was doing than concentrating on me and my nails. He cut 2 of my fingers with the drill and the thumb was the worst. It starting bleeding and all he did was pull the blue liquid out of the drawer to put on it. No apology at all. It's been 5 days and my thumb is still throbbing and very painful. I am a recurring customer that was treated as an after thought when I got my pedicure and manicure. They only massaged one foot before telling me my pedicure was over and putting me at the manicure desk. While getting my manicure, I had long square acrylic nails and wanted an almond shape done. After the guy started my nails, knowing what I wanted, only then was I told that they didn't have time to do that shape for me and when I repeatedly asked for someone else, I was told no. I should have just left without paying but he already started my nails and I didn't want to make a scene. I called on a Friday & made a 5:45 p.m. appointment for the same day (like most salons, they accept walk ins). The parking lot was a bit congested. I arrived a bit early, but they seated me right away. My appointment took less than an hour. My manicurist didn't speak to me, but I didn't mind that. I noticed one minor imperfection on one of my nails (gel was too thick causing unevenness) when I arrived home, but I was overall satisfied with my manicure. Cost was $30 + tip for a gel manicure, which I have found to be the going price (some places charge $25). I'm still shopping around for a favorite nail salon in the area, but I wouldn't mind heading back to Kathy's for convenience's sake. read more
