I made an appointment via direct message, and when I arrived, I learned that most customers have been walk-ins. I was greeted by Mimi, the business owner, and she immediately made me feel welcomed by recognizing me and delivering exceptional hospitality. I had a brief wait before my Gel X manicure, and she offered to walk with me across the street for a pick-me-up before my appointment. It was wonderful to connect and learn more about her and the business! When I returned, Steven took care of my Gel X manicure. He was attentive and very detail oriented, which I appreciated as someone that's newer to nails. Mimi had excellent expertise on Gel X, and I was sold on this option over acrylics given the gentler treatment on your natural nails. I requested French tips and a bow design, which were well done. I've received so many compliments! I was having such a good experience that I asked if I could also add on a pedicure. Mimi has a can-do attitude, and her team was able to squeeze me in. Prices were a a little bit higher than I have been used to but it had been a few months since I have been to a salon so things may have changed in the industry. I've had gel x done at another local nail salon and had one pop off before I got home. My second visit was for a pedi. It was absolutely perfect. Third and fourth visits I did the builder gel, all done by Steven. I'm very picky when it comes to the length of my nails, and he got it right every time. So happy I found this gem. I happened to be a walk-in, looking for a pedicure over a weekend and found this place to feel very dirty and unsanitary. It was very cluttered and unkept and had a really bad smell of food. Love the way Steven shapes my nails, Linda's pedicures are to die for and not only is Mimi is the sweetest girl on the planet, she keeps everything running smoothly.
