I've been going here for a few months and it was always a great experience, until recently. My last 2 visits have been subpar and here is why. 1) I got my nails done and was looking to achieve that trendy "milky white" look, but it was very sheer and didn't have any color at all. So he had to put white on top. It was very bumpy and not smooth. Usually I can get over it but I wasn't happy bc it was for an engagement photoshoot and they looked bad. 2) I just went today and wanted to try cat eye gel for the first time. I'll attach photos here. This is what I asked for (circled) and then this is what they look like. The lady was nice and kept saying sorry because even she knew they didn't look right. Yet I still had to pay $45 for the service even though I didn't get what I asked for at all. The prices here are decent compared to other salons, but now I'm thinking it's more worth while to pay the extra couple bucks to actually receive what I ask for. This will be my last time at Red Nails. So sad it didn't work out. read more

We were able to get last minute reservations for three on a Saturday afternoon. Went for the maximum pedicure, as a birthday gift for a first timer. They made "Dad" feel very comfortable and pampered. Very fun experience. I like how my gel pedicure turned out, it's lasting a long time and still looks great. I got my nails done a week or more ago. I have always been satisfied and happy with what I have had done here in the last 5 years on and off. This last time was the last time. I do dip on my natural nails and have always had female techs and Dennis do my nails and was happy. I had a different male tech who did not introduce himself, so I don't know his name. However, I hope he receives more training from Dennis or other female techs. He was extremely rough. He filed my nails so aggressively on the sides, he made me bleed in multiple spots only with a manual file, not even an electric nail drill. He put so much pressure and basically sawed into skin instead of filing. The shape that was created by side sawing has left odd regrowth in one week. I will include pictures. I was tempted to pull my hands back and walk out so many times. I have a high pain tolerance but this aggressive side sawing did make me bleed in two places. As well as resulted in one (so far) painful ingrown on my thumb. He took over an hour and a half... I have had dip done on the natural nail length in an hour or less and been satisfied/ happy with results. The whole time I was thinking he should have someone saw file the sides of his nails and skin for way too long and see how he feels... not good I'd assume. I don't leave reviews but this was just so disappointing. Especially, after I have had so many positive experiences here. If you go I would recommend any female tech or Dennis (who is super friendly and has a great sense of humor)... if you want a positive experience. read more

I decided to stop in after hitting the slopes, and I have to say one of the best pedicures I've ever gotten...I did the $55 option and the $25 manicure. My feet were already in a bit of pain from the ski boots, but after an hour of just sitting, soaking, and the massage, along with everything else that went with the service, I'm happy to report I have "happy feet." This was a referral from Airbnb host Amy Houston, and I highly recommend Red Nails! It was the end of the day, so I got to watch the disinfecting process that they did, which was very detailed. Review COVID-19 details for those wondering: It took a few days to get an appointment, but I was able to visit on 6/23. There was a table out front with clean pens, a waiver to sign, a space for used pens, and hand sanitizer. The person I made the appointment with, Thy, came out to greet me, and took my touchless temperature before entering the salon. I was then asked to wash my hands, be sure to keep my mask on, and sit down in my designated chair behind a plastic barrier. They are only offering some services, but I was able to get a pedicure and SNS manicure no issues. If you're going to rip through their salon complaining about guidelines and masks and other privileged issues, this isn't the spot for you. The entire staff was extremely welcoming and patient as the customers stumbled through all the requirements. I can't recommend them enough, especially Thy. She is so personable and friendly, and has remembered my name since day 1. So happy they're back open, and I hope everyone remains patient and friendly! read more

I've been coming here for years with my mom since I was about 6. I'm almost 18 now, and they have never once given me a manicure/pedicure I didn't love. The staff there are so welcoming and sweet and take the absolute best care of you from start to finish. Just recently, I went there to get my nails done for my senior prom. Rule Number One: don't screw up the brows. This place used to be our go to for nails, waxing, everything. They were inexpensive, they weren't pushy and they remembered us. I went there back in April to get my nails done. I thought they closed later but they said they could still do a mani/pedi for my sister and I. IT WAS SO BAD. Never even touched my cuticles. I love the cleanliness of this salon, fresh sterilized tools for every person (how it should be). I usually get a acrylic full set done by Dennis. He is very professional, likes to joke around and talk to you as well, asks you constantly about how you feel about your nails, all in all he is a great nail tech! For pedicures I usually lean towards Lynne, she is new and younger but very precise when it comes to her work. Not the most talkative, but it's nice when you want to relax in the massage chairs. She takes her time to make sure the work is perfect. The other day I got a pedicure from her, it was amazing! They do not constantly try to sell me add-ons, like another I went once. If they are busy, they will fill a basin with hot water and turn in the massage chair and let me chill - at that point I don't care how long I wait. It always feels like Cheers - they know my name.
