I got my nails done on a Sunday (an appointment was scheduled) and then later Monday night I had noticed my nail was chipped. I had spent $30 on them. On Tuesday most of my nails had were already chipped. I don't expect them to last forever but certainly longer than 24 hours. This salon is usually my go to place but it got super busy on Sunday and I felt as tho they were just trying to get us out to get more people in, since they were turning away clients. I got a $30 pedicure as well so you'd think they would've taken more precautions to prevent my nails from chipping so quickly after I get them done. My mom and I spent a total of $140 (tip included) that day and weren't satisfied with the service. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! Would give zero stars if I could. Went to get a full set and asked the lady if I could keep my natural nails longer because they had finally grown out. She got extremely upset and grabbed my hands painfully. Next thing I know she's cutting my natural nails down extremely short and not keeping them long like I asked for. She goes to put the tips on and I asked her to please remove the leftover pieces of nail from my last set she again got upset I even asked her to do that. Then she was leaving the nails longer than I normally get so she cut all the fake nails down to where it looks like I have little baby nails. I was so upset but didn't want her to purposely damage my nails if I said something. She was being very aggressive with my nails so I asked her to please be more gentle. She then proceeds to file my cuticles to the point where they started bleeding I said they were bleeding and she just gave me a dirty look. The gel polish was horribly put on I could've done better blindfolded. I called the store in hopes of speaking with the manager and I was told they weren't ever going to be in and I explained what happened and I was just told to come back and they'd fix it but I will never trust that place again with touching my nails. The woman I spoke on the phone seemed like she did not care about my experience. Please do not waste your money here. I walked in about an hour before closing. They still welcomed me in and didn't make me feel inconvenienced when they stayed late. She asked my name and offered me a glass of water which seems so little but it was the first time that has ever happened to me at a nail salon. I got my nails done with my mom and made an appointment for 2 full sets for 1pm. I got there at 1pm and waited 40 minutes until someone finally started on my nails and no one helped my mom until they asked her if she wanted her nails done, which is what I said when I walked in. The person who worked on me started and 20 minutes into doing my nails he grabs his stuff and switches to another customer which I found out that he was going back and forth before I had even gotten there. No sanitary precautions between people and the jewels on my nails didn't last even a day. Filing was not done correctly and nail glue left under my polish caused the polish to rip so now I have to get the redone. DEFINITELY NOT BY THEM! read more

Horrible experience here. The pedicure I paid for was way over-priced for the service I received. First of all, I waited for twenty minutes after being on time for my appointment. By the time she started the water was luke warm. She used the tool too aggressively on my cuticle and the next day the cuticle around my toe became inflamed, puffy, and even oozed some puss. The hot stone massage was a rip off. Very short, and so light that it was pointless. Not sure what kind of lotions they use, or maybe the equipment and towels are not sanitized enough, because not too long after I left, my lower legs became itchy. Then into the evening it progressed to lots of tiny red itchy bumps on various places of my body and lasted the next day. I had a race I signed up for that weekend and my toe was causing me so much discomfort the entire time. I have gone to many nail salons to receive pedicures so I have a clear idea of what to expect. All I want is quality work for the money I pay. I've never been so disappointed in a service and can't believe I paid almost $40 for it. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

No one acknowledged that she was just sitting there with feet in cool water. Finally, a man in sweats started to do her pedicure. He didn't have a name tag like the other staff and seemed very bossy, so maybe he was the owner. Not service oriented at all. While my pedicure was good, her experience was not. I went for a pedicure today and chose the $30 option. It's supposed to include everything the $25 one includes plus my choice of one extra. I chose the parafin wax. The woman (I do not recall her name) asked me if I'd like her to scrub off calloused skin on my heel. She then said something to the effect of it wouldn't be an extra charge but I would not get lotion, which I took to mean the extra rubbing of the legs where they use lotion...this was something included in the $25 and $30 option. I tried to clarify but due to the language barrier, I accepted her offer. Well I guess she really got one on me. Not only did she not do any massaging of my legs, she didn't massage my feet either. And to top it off, I did not get the parafin wax. So I paid $30 for pretty much a paint change and 5 minutes of her pouring a clear substance on my heels and scrubbing it for 5 minutes. It seems to me she was pretty much saying to me that if she did the callous scrub, I wouldn't get anything else. The best part? When I got home, I noticed my foot hurt so I looked at it and she had rubbed off skin in one part and I now have an open sore on my foot! And in care you are wondering, I still have the callouses. So in exchange for forfeiting everything else I paid for, I got an injury. Not only did I not get the $25 pedicure, I sure didn't get the $30 one. This is my 3rd time there and the first time, the polish chipped off in 3 days, the 2nd time (2 years later hoping they had improved) things were fine, but I paid for the $40 pedicure, and this time was a total scam. It seems to me if you do not purchase the $40 package, they are not interested in serving you. I will not be back for a 4th time. I don't appreciate being scammed and cheated out of an already pricey pedicure. read more

I have been to probably every nail place in town and this is the first one that's ever impressed me enough to leave a review. The chairs are incredible. It's a lovely bonus to have a good vibrating chair massage when getting a pedi and their chairs are THE BEST. I got the second option in the pedi menu and the foot and leg massage was incredible. I was very pleased with the whole experience. Everything looked clean and they used liners for the bins, used sealed, sanitized tools and wore gloves. HORRIBLE GOT MY NAILS DONE 2 days ago I got a fill with gel, first let me start off by saying I told the lady my nails were to thin and felt like paper I asked if she can put a little more acrylic on them and she says I no I should've told her before ( my nails weren't painted yet) she was just shaping them !! And she said the gel polish would make them thick. All my nails were not shaped right I had asked her to fixed them and she had attitude so I said forget it I'll do it myself when I go home now this is day2 and my gel polish just came off !! So irritated paid $35 for some cheap gel polish might as well had gotten regular paint ! And I can't go back to the shop because I'm out of town now ! Great service, great massage during pedicure and the massage chairs are the best I've sat in!!! This place is fantastic!

I'm giving one star because the owner was very rude, not even a hello just "sit down" and I had called in advance. My nail technician WAS wonderful and sweet but she seemed to be the only one! Also, my 10 minute pedicure (all I wanted was shaping and clear polish) was $25! When I expressed my surprise and asked for a lower price the young manager abruptly said $25 and continued yelling at the other employees. Never have I had such rudeness in a salon. read more

I've been going here for awhile now just because I'm a creature of habit, but I will not go here anymore. Their DND gel polish ALWAYS differs from the swatch they provide to pick out the color. So you think you're getting one color, but end up with a totally different color on your nails. They always say " this color is old version"?? So get the new version of color??? Then when I ask to see color before they put it on because this ^^^ recurring problem- they act like it's a huge deal and it's annoying that it takes me so long to pick color out. My friend and I have been trying to find a good nail salon in Auburn for quite awhile and finally we've found one! Pearl Nails is a great place to get a pedicure. There is a larger than normal selection in OPI colors. The salon is nicely decorated and it is very sanitary, which is a big one for me. Tina and "B" were very friendly and did a good job on our toenails. Another plus was the massage chairs you sit in while getting your pedi. We've found most massage chairs are too big and don't adjust for shorter people. These chairs weren't as large so they were very comfortable. We will definitely be back again! read more

Tonight they also charged extras for removing calluses, which I've never had to pay extra for at any other salon, and they didn't do a very good job. The didn't even advise me it would cost extra. I just had a VERY disappointing experience at Pearl Nails last week. I had made a bridal party reservation for 5 ladies a month in advance and confirmed it a week prior - we showed up to a completely full salon with no sign of them expecting us. We had to wait 30-60 minutes for everyone to be seated - so we didn't even get our services done together. They were running so far behind that two ladies didn't even get to have their manicures properly done. They were rude and seemed frustrated with us for no apparent reason. My friend said her foot rub was painful and they just rubbed/pushed on bones and not muscles. The tubs were either too cold or too hot. They were constantly talking to each-other in another language and it was very hard to tell when they were asking you a question because it would sound exactly the same as them talking to each-other, no eye-contact or courteous pause to get your attention. They were frustrated when the nail color we picked for our gel was actually a clear glitter (couldn't tell on the plastic nails) so they went and just picked something else without giving us options - so my mom and I (the bride) ended up in colors we normally wouldn't have picked but were so frustrated and behind schedule at that point that we just went with it. You think you'd be a little nicer to a group of people about to spend $400 at your establishment, they couldn't even get the final bill right and tried to over-charge us. Overall, what should have been a wonderful and relaxing time with my best friend, mom, and soon-to-be in-laws turned into the least relaxing way to start a weekend of wedding festivities. It would be nice to close with some type of compliment about something they did do well, but, there was nothing and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
