The sign dressing doesn't come with the fries.

Peak burger started charging for ranch. Their sign was not customer friendly either. I get fries to have them with ranch. Guess I'll have to find another spot. Plus the new owners don't seem nice to the existing staff. Sad to see it looks like they just watch them it's kind of cringe.

I actually really love their burgers here. I was more than a little surprised about how much. Its like a Paul's place where they offer a lot of things. Of those things, some things are very good like the burgers vs some other things... can be a miss. Their fries are always a little under and stale and their onion rings can be better but my goodness, they give you a lot of it. Burgers are delicious, I can probably eat that once a week. Prices are OK. They seem a little steep but what place isn't. The wait (even the drive thru) can be a little long. They're a small business so.. clean inside. Diner like. Overall, im happy to have found a good burger place close by!

Ordered a double burger ($8) via drive through during lunch. Wasn't too crowed with only one car ahead of me. Got my food relative quick which was nice as I am used to the in and out or chick fil a lines. Burger tasted great, patty was cooked well and the veggies were fresh. Will go again.

Wow -- this place seriously delivered! The restaurant might be on the smaller side and the drive-thru is a bit snug, but the portions are next-level. We paid about $34 for the whole meal with drinks, and it felt like a steal. Do yourself a favor and check this place out -- you won't be disappointed!

Double cheeseburger + small sized fries + small sized onion rings

This place is another one of those small business diners. They offer an extensive list of different types of food such as teriyaki bowls, tacos, sandwiches, etc. I ordered the double cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings with my girlfriend. The burgers were really solid with the patties being actually tender and juicy. The amount of sauce they used on the burger was just right and the cheese was super melted onto the patties. The only thing I will say, however, is that that did use a lot of lettuce in the burger. Not sure if it was just the burgers we got or if it's usually like that. That being said it does not knock off any points of the taste and quality of the burger but it was one thing I did notice while eating it. Highly recommend getting their burgers! Their fries and onion rings are pretty solid as well - in regards of the portion and crispy-ness of the food. Portions for both sides were def worth the money. Fries were nice and fresh and the onion rings were crisped to perfection. I will say I wish the fries had a bit more salt/seasoning but that's just a personal preference. Overall their sides were great. I recommend eating here if you're on the fence of deciding whether or not you want to. We will definitely be back to try other items on their menu!

Always a great spot to go for a quick bite or to sit down and enjoy your time. Double bacon cheeseburger and piping hot French fries... I'm yes please! Friendly staff and good burger freshly cooked! I'd say burgers always a solid 4.5 and French fries so far both times have been amazing, thick, extra crispy and hot! For around $17 bucks don't hurt your wallet too bad. Still need to try other items on the wide variety American diner menu. Until next time

we found the irl krabby patty... an unassuming little shop with a very convenient drive thru on the side serving up all the hamburger variations, sandwiches, cheesesteaks, tortas, FRIED ZUCCHINI, we didnt know what to expect but will be coming back to try everything because... these burgers were fire. first, they came out quickly, with a minimum wait in line. guy at the window asked if we wanted ketchup, handed me a HEFTY BAG, with banana peppers, BIG plus patties had a nice char, fresh, and meaty, tasted super high quality, very similar to innout quality (except EVERYTHING on this was bigger... which means more crunchy and light lettuce, a thick JUICY slice of tomato, and bigger meat) the bread was super toasted and held its bite well throughout the whole thing. grilled onions and some burger sauce, but not too much to where its drenched. id say this is a step above innout. serious words for a californian. wrapped better, larger, quality just as good, all for maybe a dollar more than innout. highly recommend putting ketchup and the juice from the pepper on each bite. really brings the whole thing up for sure. each ingredient of the whole thing stood out as excellent quality and was just delicious. perfect little shop, classic decor, made me feel just at home. this is a hidden gem

We had a wonderful breakfast yesterday at Peak Burger. We passed by the location, so many times and never thought to stop in. I can assure you that the food is absolutely amazing! When we walked in, we were greeted by the staff. They promptly took our order and got us seated in the outside area as we had our dog with us. They brought us everything we needed and delivered our breakfast. I have to say that Isabel was fabulous! So very kind and friendly! She was so helpful as well. We will definitely be back.

Never go wrong with this place, second time coming and I will continue to be back. We had the party melt and pastrami. Food was hot made to order. They bring your food to your table. The location was not over crowded and we got there around 2pm.

My friend picked up breakfast burritos from Peak Burger, as it's close to her house and they open bright and early at 6am. We love businesses that open early because we start work at 7am. We got the sausage and ham breakfast burritos. They're big and very filling. When I cut my burrito in half I saw that the burrito was mainly hashbrown and started to worry I wasn't going to get enough egg or meat, but when I took a bite I realized the hashbrown was all clumped up in the middle and the sausage wasn't diced up. It would be nice for the sausage to be diced up and ingredients to be more spread out evenly to get a perfect bite every time. Also, both salsas were very good. A nice complement to add on the burrito.

In my personal conquest to devour the chili cheese fries of the world, I was brought back to my old stomping grounds of La Mirada to try another burger spot, this time: Peak Burger. Nestled in the borderlands of industries and residential neighborhoods is this mom and pop burger spot with a busy drive thru and delicious eats. A vast menu of breakfast, burgers, Mexican food and teriyaki bowls, Peak Burger truly sets the standard of consistency in flavor and quality. Everything ordered was full of flavor and it was difficult to offer feedback and point out any lows of this meal because I simply could not find any. The chili cheese fries are among the best in flavor and texture. The chili is on the meatier side with nice chunks of ground beef resembling a Wendy's chili but with a homemade taste. I quite enjoyed the heartiness of this chili and found it balanced. The patty melt was delicious, with generous amounts of grilled yellow sweet onions that complimented the sandwich. The onion rings were crispy and airy and just delectable. You can tell a lot from a burger spot based on the quality of their ranch dressing and Peak Burger gets a deserved 5 star on ranch dressing alone. The staff and service were also exceptional, thank you!

The interior of the restaurant is very clean and well designed. There's also plenty of tables to eat at. When I ordered their teriyaki special I was expecting a bowl but what I got was a full plate of the best teriyaki chicken I've ever had. The price was super reasonable for the quantity and quality of the dish. To further elaborate, the plate is quite large. The large variety of food makes it very appealing to people of various cultural backgrounds. I will definitely come back again. read more

Great food, great prices! Wow, what a asset to the neighborhood! Happened to try Peak Burger out as it's newly opened in my area. What a hidden gem! The food is delicious and fresh. I've tried the burgers and fries and steak fajita plate. The prices are friendly and it's a lot of food for your money as well. Plenty of parking and seating area for when you dine in. It's clean and well maintained. It's a local business and I always like to support local. I go at least once a week to get a delicious, freshly cooked meal. Definitely my go to spot to get some grub. read more

I stopped by this morning and ordered the egg sandwich with sausage and a large coffee. The sandwich was a total disappointment. The bread was flimsy and couldn't hold the contents of the sandwich. It was literally a sandwich with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise , egg and sauce links cut in half. I thought they would've sliced the sausages in half or a sausage patty but instead it was literally sausages. I ended up throwing it away since it was too hard to eat and drive. The coffee was cold so that went into the trash too. I was very disappointed and won't be coming back. read more

My family has gone many times since the switch to Peak mainly because of the juicy chicken strips and tasty burgers. However, I've tried a variety of items. Breakfast is standard and pretty good. The omelet was huge, but I wish they used shredded cheese instead of sliced American cheese. Chicken Caesar salad was a let down because the hot chicken wilted the lettuce. Chef Salad was really good, but I didn't enjoy the sliced American cheese in it again. I don't think they have shredded. The Carne asada burrito, beans, and rice didn't have much flavor. I'm keeping an eye on the check next time. I was charged for a bacon cheeseburger at a higher price when I ordered plain bacon burger. Then I was charged an extra .50 to remove cheese, onions, and pickles. Something's not right about that! read more

My boyfriend and I wanted to try something new and we came across this restaurant on Yelp. The service was good , everyone was so accommodating. It was clean inside and nice . It felt nice because it wasn't crazy loud with people or music or tv. (There was a tv but it wasn't extremely loud like most places ) we were Just able to comfortably enjoy our food. We had there teriyaki so much food but so good ! Burger was delicious and fries were nice a crispy ! I'll definitely be coming back. read more

I've eaten here twice since it became Peak burger. I ordered the same omelette, once with home fried potatoes, once with hash browns. The omelette was ok, nothing special, but both times the potatoes were marginal at best. The home fries were like cubes of steamed potatoes, then grilled, barely. The hash browns were barely browned at all. The toast was cold. They give you a pretty good serving of food though. read more

I got the sourdough burger and I did not know what to expect because it's a new place and they have a lot to offer. The bread was toasted golden brown, it was perfect. The burger as a whole was great the only bad thing was a little bit to much lettuce for me. But I can always ask for light lettuce so that's my bad. The whole interior is nice looks like the whole place was remodeled. I wanna go back again and try more things. read more

Hello everyone , I love this place one because it's so close by me . Also the food it's so delicious I love the food I took my nieces and my daughter this is our spot all the time for me and the family. The owner is super friendly he greets you plus he likes to give quarters to my nieces and daughter or any kid for they could get toys in the little machines. Stopped by after leaving the swap meet. Place is clean and service is fast. They have burgers, teriyaki and Mexican food. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries and onion rings. We've been coming here for about 40 years now. We've always loved their food especially their fried mix. Today we learned they no longer put mushrooms in the fried mix (so disappointing)! The fried zucchini and onion rings are not as good as they used to be. The hamburgers are still fantastic!! They do get your food ready a little sooner now. I'm no longer excited to come here it's just okay food. I would love for the new owners to go back to the way the fried food was originally made. I will still come back here but just as often as I used too for that reason. read more

This place used to be amazing, my boyfriend his family have been coming here forever and ever since they changed to peak burger everything has changed and not in a good way. Chicken strips are school lunch quality and portions are way smaller, fries have no flavor and everything just tastes generic and not homemade like it used to. Hopefully one day they will go back to burger cafe and their good old chicken strips. :( read more

There were a variety of choices for sides and I chose a fruit bowl. I also requested an iced vanilla latte. Our waiter was pleasant and only checked on us once after our plates arrived, which was perfect as we were in deep conversation. My Monte Cristo was pan-fried and not deep-fried the traditional way, cut and served as three pieces. The French toast was prepared nicely and the turkey, ham, and cheese inside were fine. A small ramekin of syrup was provided, not nearly enough for dipping, but there was a full dispenser of syrup on the table so no problem. Usually a berry jam is provided on the side but they provided some sort of mysterious fruit jam that was bitter and a single small taste of it was all it took to deny it from further use. Yuck. The bowl of fruit was a great choice for a side. It was all bursting with flavor - strawberries, banana slices, and blueberries! I was glad I chose this over potatoes or fries. The iced vanilla latte was, at best, simply "okay". The flavor was weak. Overall, it was a fine breakfast meal.

I recently visited Peak Burger in La Mirada and had a great experience! Their French toast was very good--perfectly cooked and just the right amount of sweetness. The hamburger was also excellent, not greasy at all, which I really appreciated. The place itself is clean and well-maintained, and the service was friendly. This place does not disappoint! This time, we ordered a Peak Burger and Steak and Eggs! The Peak Burger was a double cheeseburger + bacon + avocado slices. The patties were juicy, bacon was meaty, and avocado were plentiful UNLIKE other stingy burger places. The Steak and Eggs were delicious! The employees were friendly and helpful!
