$13 for mega burger only?? It was bland with cold buns. Had to send the tots back it was terrible.

As a fan of the show, this was a HUGE disappointment. I'm extremely upset! First of all, the AC was broken!! and we had reservations @ 3pm for indoors but it was hotter indoors than it was outside!! This is inhumane. You should have not been open for business if the ac was broken at 91 degree weather outside!! They should have gave us a discount or provide some sort of reimbursement for the tix. That is just unreal. They have some explaining to do! Also the food was no bueno! And the prices are ridiculous!! the tator tots tasted so bad. My husband bit one and he bit something hard. I also didn't like the fact that the "cooks" were texting on their phones while handling food. Not worth the drive in traffic I was sweating just walking a few blocks from where we parked and hoping to be inside in a comfy booth with AC but it was the complete opposite Huge waste of time on our day off and money!!

I didn't go inside since it was closed as they open at 2pm but I am a 90210 fan so this was amazing even taking pictures of the exterior and the mini version. Definitely Instagram worthy and if your a fan you will love it on Melrose. The diner itself looks small though from the outside.

This was such a LAME pop-up experience. I wish we hadn't paid money to do it especially after attending the saved by the bell pop up which was fantastic. There is literally nothing to see but a few pictures and random crap they stuck on the walls. Inside is a dinner feel where you sit up at the bar and have your choice of 4 items none of which really sounded amazing see menu pic. I ended up getting the burger and it was super messy and just a basic burger nothing impressive. One of my friend got the onion rings had one and then didn't eat the rest as they weren't really fried so more of a mushy texture that she didn't like. My other friend got the wedge salad which she stated was a "joke". There is no alcohol here at all which was also a big bummer. Back in the hallway inside is literally just two bathrooms and a sink in hallway and a phone with more pictures on the wall. The "after dark experience" in the back of the diner is a room with a mini juke-box, a microphone stand, some graduation hats and a board with a few signs and you guessed it more dumb stuff stuck to the walls. It's like 8ft by 6ft big as well and the wait staff comes in and out non stop walking back and forth from kitchen to their back area so it makes it awkward. There is a patio outside as well for eating which seemed a little better than the inside but still just an outdoor patio to eat on. We were in and out of this place in 24 mins including ordering, eating food and walking around. The only good things about this place was the music they were playing and the guy taking our order was friendly. HIGHLY recommend skipping this experience and saving your money!!

I love LA for these fun pop up opportunities but this one was...different. It's super small and the photo ops weren't up to par with other pop ups. I made reservations a while back but when we got there it wasn't busy. Also my friend tried to join us but it said sold out online. We sat down ordered our food and then walked around the photo ops. There was a mini peach pit restaurant and an after dark room (size of a closet) we took some pictures and then went back to sit down. Our order came and thankfully everything was delicious. I ordered an impossible burger with avocado and a side of tater tots for $24. My milkshake was $8 and they sell water for $6 so not the cheapest place especially when you have to pay $25 just to get in the door. But all in all it was a fun night out with my friends. I just wish they took a page from saved by the max pop up.

Took a selfie inside by the counter.

I'm giving the place one star since the staff was fun and answered all my questions! I basically paid almost $60 to take a bunch of selfies at a moderately decorated location that was vaguely reminiscent of the Peach Pit. The air conditioner had broken so I inadvertently paid extra to be in a sauna situation which kept getting hot from all the cooking and frying going on just feet away. The Peach Pit 'after dark' seemed to be a complete after thought and was some pictures on a wall and a fake jukebox about the size of a closet. I got some great pics but refused to give them any more money and I'm enjoying happy hour down the street. This pop up is not worth what is essentially an entrance fee! My first one star review ever. Ugh!

My girlfriends took me for my 40th birthday, and we had a wonderful dinner, an idyllic live laugh love moms' night out with lots of pasta and red wine. Parking was a pain in the ass, as there was no valet and street parking in the neighborhood was heavily restricted. We all found metered parking that we had to duck out and refresh after two hours because the meters ran until midnight. Highly recommend not driving here, for parking and also for drinking reasons. The restaurant is cool and idiosyncratic enough that it got a write-up in the New York Times, with the headline "A Scrappy Pop-Up Restaurant Shuttles From Coast to Coast." It apparently started in Provincetown, Massachussetts, and wandered over to West Hollywood in 2023, opening for six months out of the year when Cape Cod slows down for the winter. Reservations are exclusively made by telephone, and payment is cash only. These quirks are minimally annoying and 100% in keeping with the intimate, small business vibe of the restaurant. The atmosphere was enchanting, cozy and welcoming, with a bit of underground supper club energy. I kind of like that you can't find this place on Resy. Service was excellent. I didn't get our waiter's name, but it really felt like he was hosting us. It helped that he gave us meatballs on the house and topped off our wine when we were running low, full pours that he left off our bill. The wine was lovely, a Chianti that went well with everything. The food was delicious, starting with the complimentary focaccia, served with seasoned olive oil for dipping. The bread proved useful with our appetizers, both the shrimp scampi and our free meatballs. The shrimp scampi was snappy and flavorful, swimming in a rich sauce with garlic, lemon, and capers, an extra slice of bread on the side. The meatballs were just right, savory and tender, made with veal, pork, and beef in a pomodoro sauce. We ordered two of the three salads on the menu and I'd highly recommend them both. The endive citrus was bright and zesty, with mixed greens, pistachio, fennel, feta, and orange. Sal's caesar was bold and satisfying, with romaine, shaved cauliflower, panko, and pecorino. We passed on the entrees in favor of getting three pastas, each of them essential to our dinner. The lobster alla vodka was an ideal seafood pasta, al dente linguine with lobster, peas, and basil in a great vodka sauce. I felt similarly about the shrimp puttanesca, linguine with plump shrimp, roasted red peppers, anchovy, and olive. The winner, though, was the pappardelle with oxtail ragu, which was one of the night's specials. A transcendent meat sauce pasta, with supple pappardelle, a mouthwatering ragu, and plenty of thin-shaved salty cheese on top. If this is available, order it. Heck, order two, just to be safe. We shared tiramisu for dessert, and it came with a candle for my birthday. It was a stellar tiramisu, and felt like the right way to end a bountiful Italian meal. I know my husband would enjoy Sal's Place and am already scheming to go back. I want to get another dinner in before it heads east for the summer.

And Sogol's Plate provides that authentic, passed down from one generation to the next, prepared all day, made with lots of love and intention, homey and delicious, type of Persian food. On the menu this weekend was the zereshk polo with chicken, tachin with chicken, and ghormeh sabzi with beef. They even threw in some free tadig which was such a nice touch! Everything was divine. However, the zereshk polo and tachin absolutely stole the show. So aromatic, fresh, sweet, flavorful and delicious. I couldn't get enough of those. I ravenously rushed from one bite to the next until my plate was empty. So bomb! If you order for pickup, then this is such a well priced meal too. And the owners are beyond friendly, patient and kind. We went back and forth on instagram trying to accommodate a date, order, and time. They were so helpful and receptive every step of the way. And when I arrived, they carried the food all the way to my car. So thoughtful. The only constructive thing I can say is that I wish there was more meat. I eat a lot of protein (shoot for 170g a day), so I would have liked a heftier portion of chicken and beef. But I eat way more meat than the average person. I'm sure that these protein portions would satisfy the majority of the population. All in all, this is a 5 star meal service. My Persian fiancée and I both highly recommend Sogol's Place. It's a roaming gem that pops up around SoCal with a curated selection of love stories and bookish gifts - think books, stickers, hats, totes, bookmarks, etc!!! I first found Fleuria at The Coffee Bar in El Segundo during their birthday celebration (yes, the same day I visited the book truck and discovered a new favorite coffee shop!). Just seeing the truck/van made my morning between the pastel decorations, the smell of new books, and the promise of great new reads. Browsing through their books, I was impressed with the variety as there are more books than just romance. And, the prices? On par with independent bookstores. After my first visit, I also went with a friend to their book swap event at the Runway in Playa Vista which the owner of Fleuria had shared with me during my visit at The Coffee Bar. This experience was just as delightful! I got to meet fellow bookworms, chat about favorite books, trade books, and discover some titles I hadn't heard of before. The owner is seriously so sweet and genuine, full of warmth and love for the selection of books she curates. The Fleuria isn't just a truck selling books. I can tell the owner works to create a community in the process: A place where book lovers can gather, where books feel personal. Whether you're buying a book, swapping one, or just browsing for inspiration, The Fleuria feels cozy and special.
