My sis got reservations through Resy, so we were able to try it out and see what the hype is about. I want to start off by saying that the food was very good, fresh, and very good quality. Shotout to the amazing chefs, mixologist, and Netflix for the great experience of this pop up restaurant. All of them were from the hit Netflix shows. What I ordered was the smoked chicken wings, Japanese fried chicken, cod, and lady Zaza pizza by Ann Kim. All was very delicious and I left out full for sure. Made to perfection and hot which I like. The drinks I tried was by Kate Gerwin. I had the opportunity to try " Happy Accidents" and "Oaxocan On Top Of The World." They were very creative and pretty darn good. Good amount of alcohol was definitely in the drinks, so well worth it. The ambiance is perfect and some very nice decor to represent Netflix. They gave only a little indoor seating by the bar area. They have mostly outdoor seating provided, which is a nice ambiance. Unfortunately, they do not substitute at all! This is the reason behind the 3 star review. I feel that restaurants should be accommodating to those with diet needs and allergens. It's only what's on the menu so look carefully before you order. Parking is limited, it's pretty much street parking and valet in Short Shorties Hotel for $20. It's cashless payments so be credit card/plastic ready! Overall, not sure if I will come back it's ok for the experience, but the service was not that great to me. Our waitress did not no too much. On the bright side though, she was very nice and sweet so I let that slide. Plus she had good recommendations to try on the menu.

This place was SO SO cool! I felt cool just being there and everyone there looked cool to be around as well! I came with my coworker one day after work on a Friday and the ambiance was next level! First of all the drinks were all so well thought out. We got this one tequila drink that fizzes up when you drink it and makes your tongue numb- in a good way though! There was also this super friendly bartender who walked around with his GIN CART! Yes, you heard that right! He made you Gin drinks on the spot so we had to order two from him! For food we ordered the Crispy Pork Skins, Pimento Cheese, Celery appetizer by Rooney Scott which was a delicious small bites, we had to order the Short Ribs, Mozzarella, Arugula, Chili Vinaigrette Pizza by Ann Kim (still drooling). We had to get the steak tartar (always a classic order for me) and we heard all over tiktok that the meatloaf was a must- so we ordered My Granmother's Meatload, Mashed Potatoes, Beef Gravy and it did not dissapoint! I also wish we ordered the Japanese Fried Chicken and the Hush Puppies! We did, however, get the Honey Cake with Salted Hazelnuts and that was so many layers of deliciousness! The bill came in one of those old Netflix DVD packages that we used to get sent when we ordered DVDs! So glad we got to experience this!

I received an invitation from "Resy" to make reservations for the Nextflix Bites pop-up restaurant. I was interested in attending, because, I knew the drinks and food were from the chefs and mixologists from the famous watched shows (Drink Masters, Iron Chef, etc.) on Netflix. Based on the information, I decided to take my mom for her birthday. We ordered cod, chicken wings, pizza, yakitori chicken, and smoked chicken wings. Everything was delectable. However, they do not let you substitute, nor do they have any sides. This changed my mom's entire disposition and experience. Many people have health issues or are allergic to certain food items, etc. I feel a restaurant should be accommodating to their customers within reason. Our waiter was ok. She was kind, professional and gave good suggestions for food items and drinks. Unfortunately, she was not observant at times. I tried two drinks, "Everything But The Alley Cat" and "Absinthe Sour." Both drinks were refreshing and tasty. The decor was very nice. It represented Netflix. Most of the seating is outside. Very little seating inside. Parking is limited. Valet parking is located at the hotel, adjacent to the restaurant. Otherwise, you have to park on the street or across the street in a parking lot near the Grove. Valet parking is $20. Overall, it's a cool place to hang out and experience the pop-up. Maybe if they allow changes to food items and add sides, I may return.

Had high hopes for this but it wasn't what I had expected being a Netflix sponsored pop-up. The idea sounds great and was the reason we wanted to try it. But honestly, it wasn't anything special. Besides the Netflix and celebrity chef theme/marketing, the food was overpriced and underwhelming. As for the decor, it was a nicely done pop-up. Great for a few pictures and featured the celeb chefs. It felt like a real restaurant. Hostess was nice and since we arrived early, they were able to bring us to a nice little waiting area. As for the service, it was definitely not what I'd expect for the $70+ per person meal we had. You don't get the service of a regular restaurant that would charge these prices and you definitely get the feeling these servers don't normally work in a restaurant. In addition, we were told up front already, but dishes do not come out in the typical order (meaning apps come first followed by entrees). They basically come out whenever they are done and all out of order. Now don't get me wrong, the food wasn't bad. I liked the idea of trying dishes inspired/created by your favorite celeb chefs. But for the price, it wasn't worth it. The $52 black cod tasted very good but the presentation and quantity was lackluster. The meatloaf and lamb ribs were very tasty too and both pizzas were good, but for the price and experience, I didn't feel like we got our money's worth. To sum it up, it was a great idea but Netflix could have done better with the execution. We've been to a few Netflix sponsored events but this one was my least favorite.

Before I get into the magnitude of today's gluttitude, or copious amounts of food that I simply destroyed today. Which after losing 116 lbs was a more than welcomed indulgence. It was hot and sure today it would have been welcomed to have an indoor table however it wasn't unbearable outside. Our server Sierra was incredibly accommodating, super friendly and always available. Her pleasant demeanor added to our overall experience. As for the food, my wife and I chose multiple dishes because, why not? How often is this chance going to be available for us. For those of you who know me know that I used to work for barbecue hall of famer APL. So right off the bat I focused my attention on the Rodney Scott open face whole hog sandwich and I added a sunny side up egg. Barbecue is truly a labor of love and this sandwich conveyed that sentiment. Although being a big guy I wished it was bigger it was perfect with the richness of the yolk as the perfectly fried French fries. My wife opted for the French Toast from Jacques Torres, We also went with the unadvertised chef special from Ming Tsis, phyllo dough wrapped around oyster mushrooms and topped with another sunny side up egg. The yolk, phyllo dough and mushrooms melded together seamlessly. Since this is a once in a lifetime event I also ordered the short rib pizza from Ann Kim. When it arrived the heavenly aroma of that pizza wafted up slowly, almost deliberately and I knew I was in for a treat. The crust had a great chew to it, I only wish the chili vinaigrette had a bit more spice. My wife went with Tomato Pie from Ann Kim. At the end of this outrageous food train was the chocolate box and bomboloni from famed chocolatier Jacques Torres. Now I am a huge chocolate fanatic and I have been for as long as I can remember. Each chocolate in the box has its own special notes and the bomboloni packed a cream filled punch. My favorite was the raspberry. It's flavor was explosive and well worth the calories.

I made reservations about a month out because I loved the concept! I love cooking shows and it was fun to imagine eating creations made by chefs from the Netflix shows. The decor was really cool inside - I liked how they did it. I feel like an even cooler concept would've been to additionally have a projector that would play the Netflix shows/episodes these dishes are featured in. Also, park at the Grove & walk over. Don't park at the Farmers Market - it's super expensive. We only paid $10 for parking for an hour & a half at the Grove. We started with drinks and I will say their drinks were very tasty! Their drinks outshined the food which to me isn't right. I'm coming here for a great food experience not for the drinks. We started with the lamb ribs which were very tender and melted off the bone. They had a great flavor. The yogurt it came with lacked flavor. We ordered the short rib pizza and that was enjoyable. The meat was tasty, easy to bite through & I liked the arugula on top. It didn't stand out to me though. It was good but not a great pizza. We also got the meatloaf - this had good flavoring and wasn't your typical meatloaf. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth. Again, this dish didn't stand out. We ended with the honey cake and the best part was the honeycomb on top. I wish there were crunchy bits throughout or that the cake had a richer flavor. Overall, a cool experience but the food was very underwhelming. It's veryyyyy pricey as well. I'd recommend someone to come here for drinks & a pizza but that's about it. The service was great as well! They check on you often.

Lobster chawan mushi with furikake crema by Chef Ming Tsai

Come Netflix and chill with me at the newly opened @netflixbites pop-up at Short Stories Hotel in LA. Featured on the menu are dishes by 6 Netflix chefs including my all-time favorite @dominiquecrenn , who is the chef of the three Michelin star @atelier.crenn . We managed to snag a Sunday brunch reservation (with a $25 deposit per person), and I would highly recommend requesting for an indoor seat if possible due to the hot LA summer temperatures lately. Here's what we tried: Lobster chawan mushi with furikake crema by @mingtsai Tortilla espanola pico, pickled jalapeño, smoked crème fraiche with caviar by @dominiquecrenn (my favorite) Happy little accidents Lady zaza by @annbkool (was burnt ) Mango and black peppercorn cranachan by @nadiyajhussain The bill came to around $200 for 2 people, which wasn't too shoddy considering the prestige of the chefs featured and the high quality and presentation of each dish. However, I was a bit miffed by the 20% mandatory tip, especially since the hostesses were a bit rude (although our server was a complete sweetheart). Overall, this pop-up was definitely worth checking out, and I'll probably try to make another reservation to try out their dinner menu!

Netflix bites is very just oh Kay. I think I probably would have enjoyed this more if I watched more food shows on Netflix. The food is yummy but very smoll. More like finger bites. There are a lot of bees outdoors but they don't bite. Staff is very friendly. Overall I think it's fun to try it once and highly recommend to go during one of their special events but it will prob be a one time experience.

I really don't understand the other reviews. We obviously had a different chef(s) than the others that were dissatisfied with their experience. When we arrived it was like arriving an invitation only event. There were not very many customers in line, but there were quite a few people to greet you. I wasn't too happy about having to sit close to the pizza oven, because you were definitely inhaling the smoke from the oven. As we looked around the colorful ambiance, we enjoyed looking around and reading the walls and seat cushions. The food was definitely delicious. The best part of the meal was Nadia Hussain's Chocolate Orange Blossom Baklava, served with Clotted Cream. The pizza by Ann Kim of BBQ Short Ribs, Mozzarella, Arugula, and Chili Vinaigrette was devoured by us. We tried numerous Small Bites. We tried one from each featured chef. Everyone enjoyed the Big Bites that they ordered.

Let me just start it off by saying I do not understand why people come here because all the food that I've watched on Netflix I am 100% almost sure that the food I tasted do not seem like the food I saw on the Netflix shows. Yes, they do look really pretty on the pictures however, they do not taste very good. I will say the only good "food" I tasted were their cocktails. Their cod was melting in your mouth but not much seasoning, pork skin tasted like something from Asian supermarket, rib was dry and tasteless, cheese ball was very dry, mushroom tart was weird tasting, yakitori chicken was juicy but typical taste and finally truffle mushroom dumplings were mid for Asians. They basically made Asian food but for white people. Very blend and very bad. The price was pricy, we spent around almost $400. Ambiance was for influencers, modern interior and colorful settings. Good for pictures. Would I come back here? Absolutely not. I would say this is one of the worst food I've tasted in a long time. Why I gave 1/5 star? Because I don't even think their 3 stars justify how bad this place is. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

4/5 for the food, 3/5 for the service, 2/5 for the location My fiance had heard that Netflix opened up a restaurant featuring chef cuisine from their shows so my friends and I decided to check this place. Overall, it was A-Ok. I'd like to check out their dinner menu to see if it was good. FOOD My friends and I ordered a handful of food since we all wanted to try a piece of it. We ordered the following: - Lobster Chawan Mushi with Furikake Crema - Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, Poached Eggs, Hollandaise - Lady Zaza Pizza - BBQ Short-Rib Pizza - Bambolini - Mango and Black Peppercorn Cranachan - We also ordered their special, which had shiitake mushroom and was a small bite, but I forgot the name of it. Overall, I would recommend the crab cakes, the BBQ short-rib pizza, and the mango and black peppercorn cranachan. Can't go wrong with crab cakes and I loved the taste of the short-rib pizza. The mango and black peppercorn reminded me of a mango pie, and it was delightful with the bitterness of the peppercorn. The Lady Zaza Pizza was spicy and the Lobster Chawan was cool. You definitely have to try all components of the dish to enjoy it entirely. The Bambolini was a good runner-up, it comes in 4 pieces. Tasted like a cream puff, it was nice. DRINKS: My friends ordered the Absinthe Sour and Happy Little Accident. My fiance ordered from the bar cart. Our guy, Aaron, was AMAZING. He mixed together this Yuzu drink for my fiance and it was delightful. Who knew 3 ingredients could be so powerful. He also explained to us the components of what went in the Happy Little Accident. It was so fun! We had a great time with him. He recommended all the drinks we ordered and they did not disappoint. If you see him at the bar cart, def try his recs, he's amazing! SERVICE: It was alright, but I'm not going to known our waitress since she had several tables. Service was initially slow. We got our food before we got our drinks. Luckily none of my friends were in a rush to do anything after. As soon as the rush was done, our server quickly gave us more water, our check, and recommendations on desserts to try. It was an overall favorable experience. LOCATION: There's street parking all around, but it's tough. If you can't find any around, I recommend just parking at the Grove and walking a block or two. My fiance and I circled around and could not find any street parking for about 20 minutes. Granted, we did come around 11:30am, which was peak brunch time. I recommend giving yourself time to find parking so you don't miss your reservation. Bathrooms are unisex/singular and are super nice and clean. I love the design and the overall ambiance of the bathroom as well as the overall restaurant. It's definitely bigger than it looks on the outside. I'd try this place for dinner. Overall, I don't think i'll come back for brunch as it kind of felt like a one and done restaurant. The food and experience was overall alright. Happy to say that I went though. Would definitely recommend at least once to experience.

best way to eat this crab curry is to wrap the crab meat with the flatbread smeared with curry & topped with fried garlic/shallot bits

Been wanting to check out this place out. The restaurant is very instagramable... everywhere u see... ppl r taking selfies We started with 2 drinks... and both were fantastic... Happy Little Accident (alcoholic) & Pom Spritz (non-alcoholic). The menu wasn't what I expected. I was disappointed at the fact that a lot of items on previous yelper's reviews r no longer on the menu. We ended up ordering the following food.. wood fired lamb ribs, zaza pizza & dungeoness crab curry. All were pretty tasty. I give all the dishes a solid 4 out of 5 star. Overall, we enjoyed our evening... tasting food created by several top chefs. Our bill for 2 ppl came out to $155 before tip. That's quite fair for the quality of food they served.

So.....between all these chefs we have michelin star winners, James beard award winners, etc. You would think the food would be cooked at that level either James beard or michelin star level, sorry to spoil it but its not at that level. If you want to know why read on. So much talented chefs lent their name and brands to this pop up, I get it they aren't actually at the pop up so it's up to someone else to turn out their signature dishes. Unfortunately it falls flat. Most of the dishes weren't bad, well ok the pork ribs were pretty bad. But,the dishes were not at their level of the chefs they were from. The pizza is similar to cpk, not bad per se but not amazing. The appetizers small bites were good, but again not amazing. And most everything was over priced for what it is. The one drink I had with mezcal, just don't order it. One of the worst unbalanced drinks I've had in a long time, cheap mezcal, just not good. Again disappointing since it was supposed to have been on a Netflix show. The one good thing was our server was pretty friendly and helped us out with recommendations. I saw other reviews about service being un even or indifferent. Out server was pretty good, one caveat is that we came in pretty late, 920 on a Monday night. By the time we were halfway eating the restaurant was mostly empty. So maybe if you came around 7 on a Friday it might be different? The one area I thought they did a great job on was the overall decor and branding. Whoever designed it did a great job on that and everyone seemed to like the netflix branded pillows. Since we were the only ones there by the end of the night, we were able to get great pictures and shots of everything so that was nice. Overall, don't go to this expecting excellent renditions of these famous chefs signature dishes. If you have had any of these dishes before you will probably be disappointed. Come here because you like the shows or netflix I guess? If any of the chefs are reading this review....do better with whoever is executing your dishes, it's like a prep chef trying to pretend to be sous chef. This could be a 4-5 star easy if the food just matched the decor.

Indoor seating has that Tulum vibe--chandeliers, music, really nice energy. Now that it's warming up, the patio is also a solid move. Food is consistently good. We always get the burger--it's one of the best. This time we tried the crispy chicken and wow... sweet, spicy, super underrated. Got ranch with it and it was a perfect combo. Also tried their pizzas--really solid, and they have gluten-free options. Ivan was our waiter, super nice, and the food came out fast. We were in and out in like 30 minutes (we do eat fast though). Definitely coming back for the burger and to try more of the menu.

Trying 1-2 new breakfast spots each month has officially become a family tradition, and our first…read morestop was Met Her At A Bar. It definitely lives up to the hype--this place draws everyone from locals to celebrities. The menu had so many tempting options that choosing was honestly the hardest part. I went with the Breakfast Sandwich and added Truffle Parmesan Fries, my wife ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict with potatoes, and we got a waffle with whipped cream and fresh fruit for our son. Everything hit. My breakfast sandwich was incredible--the bun was soft, the ingredients were well-balanced, and the chipotle aioli really took it to another level. The Eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly, and the hollandaise had a rich, flavorful finish. The waffle had that ideal texture: slightly crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. We enjoyed the food so much that there was barely anything left to take home. On top of that, the staff was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only downside is parking--since there's no dedicated lot, finding street parking can take a bit of patience. Overall, we'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu.

Server didn't check up the second time to see if the food was okay and felt like she was avoiding us and wanting us to leave. This was my second time and for sure, won't be coming back.
