    Hot chicken --hot temp

Excellent hot chicken! I got the hot and it was the perfect temp bursting with flavor! Their house sauce works deliciously with the dry rub hot chicken! Superb! Thanks for the experience @Michelle_Merchantservices

Awesome service with a great location of the walk of fame. We came in right at opening time so we were the first ones in. My friend got a drink and we got to ordering some food because we were starved! She opted for mild tenders and I went for level 4 spicy sandwich. I "made it a doozy" which was adding cheese and honey. My goodness! Was it the best Nashville hot sandwich that I've had in a long time. It was spicy but it burned so good!! The slaw cooled it down. The heat wore off quickly once I was done eating so that was good. Now being my age, my stomach was mad at me for the spice level for the rest of the day but it was worth it! It's a chill dive bar kind of place. People were great. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the SoCal area.

This is a really convenient bar & restaurant right in hollywood. Went on a friday night and it was immediate seating. Our waitress was really friendly and we all ordered the original mutha clucka to go. It's a really cheap meal considering the location! It was like $14 for a sandwich with fries. The sandwich itself was good, medium had a nice amount of spice to it. I just didn't like whatever seasoning they put on the sandwich and fries, it was like a flavored salt or something. The chicken though was juicy and had a good amount on it! Will definitely be back!

A decent bar with various fried chicken options. I like spicy food and was underwhelmed with the "hottest" option and felt that the name was misleading. The fry on the chicken was okay too and pretty standard. We did notice that they have happy hour though that would make it worth going to if you're in the area. The vibe is pretty relaxed and a bit of a dive bar. Service was okay but a little bit delayed in between.

    Can't go wrong with wings!

I stopped by to take advantage of the one dollar wing Wednesday deal. They have great daily specials and two for one drinks during happy hour, which is Monday through Friday 4 to 7. Pretty reasonable on the pocketbook. The interior is all black and kind of crazy which is interesting for Hollywood Boulevard, but not necessarily my style. Great spot to watch the action on the Boulevard and enjoy a reasonably priced drinking meal. Staff was friendly and helpful in picking out my flavor of wings. Wings had a great taste to him, but we're admittedly kind of small. I guess for one dollar a wing you can't expect them to be perfect... I'll be back to check out the taco Tuesday, sounds like it can't be beat!

If you're a UFC fan, this place is unmatched. They show every single fight--no blackout issues, no last-minute "we're not playing this one"--they're ON IT every time. Screens everywhere, sound on point, energy crazy in the best way. The food? I swear these are some of the best plates in Hollywood. The chicken hits every time--crispy, juicy, seasoned perfectly--and the breakfast burritos and mimosas for the morning fights? Elite. Everything comes out fresh and fast even when they're packed. The ambience is honestly what keeps me coming back. Fun crowd, good music, staff that actually pays attention, and a whole vibe whether it's early morning or late night. You can pull up solo, with friends, or a whole squad and you'll still have a good time. If you love good food + good vibes + UFC on every screen... Hot Mother Clucker is the move.

Food is great as always, I'm not a fan of the 18% gratuity charge for only 2 people dining in. Asked the waitress if it states on the menu anywhere that's it's an automatic gratuity she said "I'm not sure but it's just 18% it's not that big of a deal." On menu it states 18% for parties of 6 or more. We are a party of only 2 people. Not happy with that part of the experience. Mind you we've been customers since HMC opened at a car wash, we're loyal fans but this isn't the way to do things. Hope the manager can reach out.

My son and I were in Hollywood for a conference recently and looking for lunch. This place was had good reviews so we decided to give it a shot. Upon walking in it looked more like a dive bar, which is fine because he's 16, but we gave it a chance. The bartender was the only server in the place and provided excellent service. We had the #1 which is a hot chicken sandwich with coleslaw and a side of fries. The prices were comparable to fast food these days. You can order it with varying degrees of spiciness. I had the hot and my son had the mild. He said the mild was too mild but I felt the hot was perfect, and I love spicy food. It had a good kick without overpowering the flavor. The bread was soft and delicious. The fries were good but not great. They had limited soft drink options but a full bar with what looked to be a good beer selection but I wasn't drinking. It was good enough that we will probably be back next time we visit.

A beautiful, calm spot with great music and absolutely delicious Dubai chocolate with strawberries. Great service -- super friendly and attentive! Definitely a must-try -- highly recommend!

The hottest thing in here was the bartender Roxy. Pulled up for a quick draft $7 .. multiple TVs with various college games on. Great view to people watch on the strip. Bathrooms should require gas mask to enter , I recommend the one on the left. Cheers!

Hot chicken tenders, fried jalapeños and sliders!

I recently tried the hot chicken strips, fried jalapeños, tacos and sliders, and everything was honestly delicious. The hot chicken had the perfect balance of heat and flavor--spicy enough to get your attention but not so overwhelming that you can't enjoy it. It was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and seasoned perfectly. The fried jalapeños were a standout surprise. Really good appetizer! The sliders were equally impressive: soft buns, flavorful fillings, and just the right size to enjoy without feeling too heavy. Together, everything made for a really satisfying meal. Highly recommend if you're craving bold flavors and great comfort food! Shout out to Roxy for making us amazing margaritas!

Bartender Foxy and Owner Z were extremely dope. Great energy from when we walked in, it was convenient to the venue we were attending. Good music and ambiance. I got the Western Smash burger and my wife got the Double Smash burger. Fries were seasoned and so was the mac n cheese. If I wasn't driving I would've had a drink. But I will next time

Shirley Brasserie, the restaurant referred to above, is also located in The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (located next to The Lobby). The "iconic" they refer to is the fact that this hotel is historic -- it was built in 1926 during the Golden Era of Los Angeles architecture. It is named after Theodore Roosevelt. The first Academy Awards (Oscars) was held here in 1929. The hotel had its ups and downs since then but currently it looks beautiful and thriving. Take your out-of-state visiting friends/relatives to this place. Because this is a big part of "Hollywood". I recommend The Lobby to hang out after a long day's work or after a nice dinner nearby. This is where my sister and I went after our dinner at Musso and Frank. My sister ordered their Espresso Martini which was really good. I had a beer. Our server wasn't as warm as the ones during my visit in 2023. I think she was an introvert or a bit of a nervous person. But she did not seem potentially horrible. Restroom: I did not go to the restroom this time. I think there was a line. But I remember back in 2023 that you had to ask for a key or a code. Which is understandable for this area. Parking: I recommend the valet parking. If validated, the fee is really reasonable (I forgot how much they charged). We got ours validated because we ordered those drinks from The Lobby.

Even though this restaurant is a bar restaurant located in the Loews Hotel, the dishes are a lot more elevated and high-quality than I expected when compared to bar food. Food was actually very good. I didn't realize that food was Asian-Mexican fusion, but I have to say the mixture of flavors worked very well together. We ordered spicy tuna nigiri tacos, birria gyozas, skirt steak with Viet chimichurri sauce, ceviche, short-rib tacos, scallops with spicy hominy, and chai brownie for dessert. Every dish had great flavors and were seasoned very well. Steak was cooked perfectly and seafood quality tasted fresh. Hibiscus cocktail was also very tasty and refreshing. My only callouts were the chips for the ceviche were stale and the brownie was quite dry. Service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, checking on us constantly. Food pace was also well-timed and came out accordingly. The reason why I give this place a 4-star is because of the ambience. This bar restaurant is attached to the lobby and it can get very loud and rowdy with hotel guests sitting around. It would be better if the restaurant was separate from the lobby area to provide a more personal and less noisy dining experience. Also, the design could use some updating as it felt like eating in a restaurant located in a low-end casino. Ambience doesn't match the quality of the food.
