Chill weekdays vibes. Played some 90s -2010/ music on the screens. We ordered fish n chips , fries were yummy and thick. Fish batter was crunchy. Food came fast. We also got the pizza but it's more of a flatbread not the best. Drinks came out good! But keep your receipt and makes sure u check ur bank statement as our account said we gave more than we did. Pro-tip: the all-you-can eat prime rib dinner is misleading !!! Pay attention because you have to consume all on your plate (including some gnarly veggies) if you want a second helping of the 'prime-rib' I guess it's kind of a staple -- especially if you're a tourist island hopping on Hollywood blvd . Or if you're a broncos fan -- come here to drown your sorrows with a nice refreshing audios MF after the tough loss to the patriots. I guess it's not your fault your no named back-up QB couldnt be Nick Foles when in mattered. There's always next year as you've found your new Bo, even though he'll be limping for awhile. Anyways Jameson's have a variety of locations -- Santa Monica , Culver City, Hollywood blvd. Each comes with their own unique style and vibe. First thing I took notice was a wild jaded bartender appeared . You can tell he really hates his job. And guess what, I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to deal with the all that foot traction and the mercurial people of the zombie apocalypse . I ordered a burger and an à good ol Irish Guinness . The burger was juicy, and came on a nice toasted sesame seed bun. For about 11-12 bucks it ain't halfway bad. The review takes a deter with the deceptive all you can eat 'prime-rib' ad. Yea, you won't be getting quality , but you are getting quantity . And napoleon said there's a lot of quality in quantity, but he's not gonna be eating here too -- mostly because of the he's dead part. I'm order to get seconds on the prime-rib you're gonna have to down the filler veggies as well. Deceptive, but tolerable. It's actually quite smart of the owner to mandate this as veggies has a lot of fiber and fills you up. Why do you think salad and bread are the first thing you see at à buffet ? And while under normal circumstances , I'd be fine with this , I soon discovered with a whiff of that inviting Hollywood air that , to my detriment, I'd have to consume icky bressel sprouts . Now, I'd pay the fare to not eat these, and the only way id ever flirt with the idea of consuming these would be if Johnny Knoxville came in and offered me $1000 as part of a pop-up fear factor of sorts. Not all is lost, but I can't help this was a Pyrrhic victory.

While visiting the Hollywood area, I came upon this gem of an Irish pub right on Hollywood Boulevard. I took it as a sign that the star of Gene Roddenberry was directly in front of the entrance. Beers were tasty, two for ones start at noon, and the staff are great. We had such a good time drinking that we came back the next day for a reasonably priced prime rib lunch. Which, although it's never going to win any awards, was rather decent for the price.

We popped in here on a whim for a quick one and to take advantage of their two for one drink specials all day long. We enjoyed sitting outside along Hollywood Boulevard, which is an excellent spot for people watching and you really get the full impact out there. Food is reasonably priced and pretty good with a fairly extensive menu. We didn't eat today but just enjoyed the atmosphere, I recommend this place,it is a good spot for a cold drink!

Might be a tourist spot but it wasn't bad. I stopped in for a late lunch and saw their happy hour beers have a 2 for 1 special from noon to 7pm. And these were big glasses! The bartender and food runners were friendly and quick!

I was gonna leave a nice review before I went on st Patrick's day. I get there and they say no happy hour ; I guess they want more money because of the holiday , but they still got the signs up . I order an expensive drink anyway and I notice a hot chick eating fries next to me . I order fish and chips and they said no food at the bar. A minute later I notice a guy next to me eating fish and chips . The basta*d didn't even acknowledge me . I was gonna ask him why he's so special. I ask if their Bloody Mary was any good and the girl couldn't tell me , she said " it's my first day . So I leave after a drink or two and buy a street hotdog .

One of the most disappointing bars in LA. We went on the 11th, Friday night, it was empty. There were only 2 bar stools that were occupied when we entered and as the time processed it was just us. This place gave a weird vibe as we sat and watched cars past in the street through the window. There were 2 men at different occasions approached us trying to hold conversations. We felt unsafe. The service there was the worst. Despite its being empty, the work was not attentive at all. We waited and waited to be served. And again when we want to close out and leave, the server decided to make a drink to a customer who ordered after we told him to close. Terrible service and the drink was mid comparing to the branch in Santa Monica once they made it my go to drink there

We had lunch down the street on a fabulously wet, rainy day so we popped over here for a couple of cocktails and enjoyed ourselves. A true Irish pub. TVs for your viewing pleasure and pretty decent amount of people for a rainy Tuesday afternoon. Fun decor. We sat in a nice table booth out front for some people watching. Never a dull moment on Hollywood Boulevard. James took excellent care of us as we enjoyed the two for one drink special. Next time I'm here I'll try the food! Recommend!

Great food- had the two piece fish and chips, perfectly cooked hot and fresh, not dry like some bar food can be. My partner had the Philly cheesesteak, delicious! Drinks and generous. We will be back.

Drove my wife and daughter to the Chris Stapleton concert at the Bowl. I was looking for a Starbucks or McDonalds where I could get though some emails and saw this place. And with a Happy Hour. So I sit down and realize that they serve Smithwicks [pronounced smid icks] as we were told in Ireland. One of our favorites so I sat down and had a couple. NO, i did not get through any emails. I did meet a couple of guys and had a conversation and enjoyed my night as a last minute FREE Uber driver for my fam. I would love to come back with my boys and I saw some great deals like the Prime Rib on Wednesdays. The place is kept up pretty well and they had clean bathrooms. The bar tender was a little cold at first but warmed up as the night progressed.

This place was the most decent place we found to have a bite on Hollywood Blvd Was surprise with the number of vegetarian option they had and it was all pretty decent. Service was also ok and the place looked fine and clean at that time.

I came across an article of St. Patrick Day activities in LA. One of them explained that this joint was offering a traditional Irish breakfast from 6:00 a.m. to 10: a.m. I decided that this was the green light I needed to embrace the whimsy/whiskey of the Irish Holiday. I got up early and went from the South Bay, to this place which is located near the Peterson car museum and the Museum about the Academy and its movies. I had to endured heavy traffic, just to get to the location. And, when I got there, I was hit with a harsh reality--- there was no parking to be found, and the parking lot was closed off. It was now time for me to engage in a frustrating LA tradition- the search for a spot for my car to sit, while I went inside a place on a popular moment. I went up and down streets. I was discouraged by signs that basically said, even though this street has open spots you still need a special visitor pass or need to live in one of these houses to park. If you do not, these luxury spot are for another. And since it was early morning on a weekday, the rush hour effect was inflating my frustration while diminishing my resolve to go. I wanted to leave, I did, but, I could not, because I was determined to experience an Irish breakfast despite not being in the emerald isle because what else was I going to do just have Dunkin' again? I turned another street, and then I saw my gift for the lucky, a parking spot that I could ease into. I walked two blocks but decided that the steps were needed to enhance my appetite. As I got near, I understood that this was a spectacle to document, and not just by me, news vans were already there setting up to show the world what being in this place on St. Patricks day meant---- living the holiday to the blimey max! I stepped in and Marley asked if I had a reservation. My heart sank, I had not thought of this. I just saw a mention of the place, and decided to go, no planning, just decision. She found a place for me, quite easily. The interior of their dining room made me feel like I was in the Island of Berk, eating in a cottage right for Vikings. I even thought that if I was fighting a dragon, I would somehow cut one of their hanging old-timey chandeliers, at the exact right time, so it falls atop its head. I am not sure if Vikings are Irish, but on this day imagination got all type of green flags. The place had two options for breakfast--- I chose the Corned Beef hash, and it was a treat for the green eyed masses. I especially liked the smashed potatoes. One of my neigbhors gave me her recipe, and she explained that one bakes the potatoes a bit, then takes like a cookie tray, and smashes the potatoes, so the potatoes are twiced bake, once when they are whole and next when they are broken. At least, that is what I understood. The cubed corned beef, the green color provided by the brussels, and the potatoes so crisp and warm, were a celebration of Ireland in my mouth, and the celebration was marked by jigs on point. But the food, and the environment were backdrop to the Irish energy around. I may be naive, but I was surprised at how many people were already in the bar drinking and in festive costume. I clipped a few of the people who garbed themselves in green and in Irish spirit. My favorite one was the guy who wore a leprechaun hat and died his hair red. He had become an O'rooke for the day, and the festivities he adorned himself with were a reminder that any holiday can be more than splendid if one decides to choose express joy with timidity abandon. A woman had a Dr. Seuss hat but in green and white with many buttons. This was not her first Shamrock induced rodeo, she had collected buttons that confirm her attendance in this yearly event, which is kind of cool because she lives for different days, not just the weekend. I also drank a green beer, or more accurately took a few sips. When in Ireland to like the Leprechauns do. One of my neighbors told his dining companion, it is a marathon not a sprint. Apparently, some people were really there to drink from the morning to evening. So if that is your thing to do this and be great in green. I looked up how the Irish say cheers and they say Sláinte. I asked my neighbors to raise their glass and Sláinte with me. They did, and we did it with gusto! That memory is one that I will carry with me for years. So I lived a breakfast in this place and truly it was something that I experience and I will remember. This place does St. Patrick's day right and I felt lucky to be there.
