Walked in on a slow Sunday night and was pleasantly surprised at how relaxed, and unpretentious this place is. When I walked DJ Raul Campos was spinning great house grooves and a very friendly bartender. So speakeasy feel, with a wide range of types of people. Spoke to a patron who was also a DJ, and spoke about how remixes are created. Raul was very gracious and went out of his way to hang out with me and make me feel warm and welcome. Needless to say I look forward to spending a lot of times grooving to the sounds and very reasonable drinks.

This place is under new management and I'm loving every minute of it. Vibe: Laid back with great vinyl being spinning courtesy of DJ Raul Campos. This is a great place to go get lost for awhile Drinks: A nice selection of signature drinks, wine, and beer, but let's be honest the non-alcoholic drinks are kind of amazing Overall this is a great place and if I lived closer it would be my regular hang!

Love this cool and hip bar. Great music, great drinks and great atmosphere! Came here after a wonderful concert at the Hollywood bowl. I love the signed albums on the wall (especially Adele). Tommy at the bar is awesome and is the best bartender in all of WeHo. He makes drinks which such precision and care and they are absolutely delish. If I lived in town, I would be there weekly!

Be warned, parking is hard to find at this bar, but this place is worth it. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and their spirit selection is strong AF. How many places do you know carry Taiwanese whiskey?? I recommend the gin martini extra dry and any variation of the old fashioned or Manhattan. This place is fantastic and has a cozy dark comforting aesthetic. Pretty good for a date or just to hang out.

Drinks, music, ambience on point here DJ Raul Campos on point Whoo hooo I highly recommend this place

The most expensive vodka Soda I've ever ordered. ($17)

We come here because the bathroom is supposed to be haunted. No joke, pretty much the ONLY reason. I have never felt like I'm annoying someone more than when I order a drink here. It's like it physically pains these guys to make you an obscenely overpriced vodka soda. I paid $17 for a Tito's and soda (because that was apparently all they had) and the bartender had the nerve to cop an attitude like I was inconveniencing HIM. Whatever, I'll still come back I suppose, I really want to see that ghost.

Nice vibes and the drinks were solid. Kind of small though, wouldn't come here in large groups. Decent first spot before going to some other bar.

Krampus Cove was a fun way to celebrate the holidays. They put on a fun interactive show with a few games. We tried the Santa Slay drink... which I don't recommend ( weird combo of coconut and peppermint) that wasn't balanced well. Overall this was a fun experience.

I went bar hopping with a couple friends a few weeks ago and we stopped in here for a drink and we were surprised at how beautiful it was and how great the drinks were! We sat down at one of the tables and looked at the menu to get our drinks while the wonderful bartender brought us some water and gave us some recommendations on the drinks. I settled on the Penny Benjamin cocktail which was absolutely fantastic. The gin mixed with the fresh blackberry shrub and the bianco vermouth gave off a refreshing taste while being a little on the sweeter side which I personally prefer. My friends got the Last of the Oaxcans and the Jack Rose and they enjoyed their cocktails as well! I could tell the bartenders love working here and they were always pleasant to talk to and they make sure your drinks are perfect! I highly recommend coming to Lost Property if you want a great cocktail and a nice place to hang out and relax for an hour or two. You will enjoy the nice atmosphere and the vibes from staff are top-notch.

Creepy mermaid mug with my drink. I was 80% tempted to buy it and take it home. Lots of booze and flavors in this one.

Been here twice now, the last one 10/2 and they had transformed the bar into a Halloween specific pop up bar! Super cool. I like that this place changes and think it might be where a holiday bar is too post Halloween. So this review is specific for the current Halloween pop up--- Really strong specialty drinks! Had Lilith's drink and was like wheeeewie burns like hell would. Also had the drink that came in a $40 haunted mermaid mug which is for sale and I wanted to see. Pretty creepy and I loved it. They had to take my ID tho so I don't walk out with the mug. Even though there were...maybe 6-8 people in the whole place. Cool dark spooky vibes with decorations everywhere including the bathrooms. Red Rum and Murder painted on all the walls to the bathroom. I wanted to go again just to read more of the messages. Very dim lighting, which works for Halloween. So just expect that. Soon I'll be old enough where I'll need to turn on my phone's camera to read the menu in that kinda lighting. Convenient location and both times I've been there pre show at the theaters down the block it hasn't been super busy. I don't know if that's a good thing for their business but it was great for me and the people who came with me each time.

Live music; lively crowd; requires covid vaccination card and obvious music sense to come in if you're here for the beats. Excellent place to check out, cocktail bar, open door and easy access to bathroom, good airflow and ventilation. When door is open. The ambient lighting accompanied by the musicians and the dancing participants really puts you into a trance. Good place to meet people and for friends to hangout. Seating is somewhat limited so come earlier if you can.

If you are looking for a beautiful bar with great bartenders and delicious drinks look no further! This place was a gem just good vibes all around. You feel very cared for by the bar tenders they make sure your drink is top tier and you can tell they love doing what they do which gives the drinks an extra umph! A very enjoyable time and great way to spend a Friday night. The music is great and vibes are amazing!

If I could give this bar more than 5 stars I would!! I highly recommend this place. The two bartenders were kind, authentic and hospitable. Me and my girlfriends stopped by before a concert at the Fonda (which is walking distance) and had such a positive experience that we decided to stop by one more time after the show! They serve cucumber water which was very refreshing and tasteful. They have a large selection of really anything you want, drink wise. I'm originally from Nashville, TN and one thing I hold near to my heart is southern hospitality. THIS place had it in the midst of a big city which was just what I needed that night. It was nice spending hard earned money on a place but most importantly people who deserve it. We will be back! Also, be sure to have your vaccination card with you or a picture if it. They do require it which I had no issue with. (:

It's really pretty on the rooftop plus has a fun vibe with a few wax figures around! Will Smith, James Dean, The Rock, Zendaya, Marilyn Monroe...a bunch of A Listers to dine around! lol! The staff was all so nice and kind here! I was actually really surprised to find such amazing staff at such a tourist type of spot. They were all just so great!!! The other clientele seemed to be coworkers there for happy hour, tourists popping by, then my friend and I! It was a good mix of people hanging out up there. I really liked the vibes. We went during happy hour which had a bunch of drink specials. I had a Mocktail which wasn't on the HH menu but it was so gorgeous and tasty! The Zombie ($12) had Grapefruit, lime juice, black iced tea, tiger's blood and was wonderful. I really appreciate when places put effort into their NA drinks. Also on the HH menu were a few food options and my friend had a $4 Steak Taco which he was happy with. I had the Box Office burger which was incredibly indulgent with A Cajun-spiced patty, balsamic onions, bacon jam, arugula and garlic aioli on a pretzel bun. Plus, they bring a little pan of melted blue cheese which they will pour tableside onto the burger for you. Cute! And I loved the burger. There were also seats at the bar but not enough for our group size. We came in for drinks and food before heading over to TCL Chinese Theatre. We ordered a few drinks and some shareables. The French martini was delicious- it had raspberry liqueur, pineapple juice and vodka. Very refreshing. The wild mushroom tagliatelle was phenomenal the pasta was just right and oh those delicate but powerful herbs, divine! The Japanese sweet potatos were so tender, the sauce that was one them was so yummy, I loved it. The steak & frites were scrumptious, steak was perfectly medium rare and fries were classic. The charcuterie board was so good we got the 3 cheese and 2 meats, everyone enjoyed it. The fresh baguette was crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside, only thing that could have made it better was a little balsamic. Overall wonderfully surprised by the lobby bar on a Tuesday night.

With dishes from Shirley Brasserie available all day, it's the perfect spot to enjoy everything from light bites to seasonal plates, surrounded by the warmth of the historic fireplace and the charm of this iconic setting." -- from The Roosevelt Hotel's website. Shirley Brasserie, the restaurant referred to above, is also located in The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (located next to The Lobby). The "iconic" they refer to is the fact that this hotel is historic -- it was built in 1926 during the Golden Era of Los Angeles architecture. It is named after Theodore Roosevelt. The first Academy Awards (Oscars) was held here in 1929. The hotel had its ups and downs since then but currently it looks beautiful and thriving. Take your out-of-state visiting friends/relatives to this place. Because this is a big part of "Hollywood". I recommend The Lobby to hang out after a long day's work or after a nice dinner nearby. This is where my sister and I went after our dinner at Musso and Frank. My sister ordered their Espresso Martini which was really good. I had a beer. Our server wasn't as warm as the ones during my visit in 2023. I think she was an introvert or a bit of a nervous person. But she did not seem potentially horrible. Restroom: I did not go to the restroom this time. I think there was a line. But I remember back in 2023 that you had to ask for a key or a code. Which is understandable for this area. Parking: I recommend the valet parking. If validated, the fee is really reasonable (I forgot how much they charged). We got ours validated because we ordered those drinks from The Lobby.

Even though this restaurant is a bar restaurant located in the Loews Hotel, the dishes are a lot more elevated and high-quality than I expected when compared to bar food. Food was actually very good. I didn't realize that food was Asian-Mexican fusion, but I have to say the mixture of flavors worked very well together. We ordered spicy tuna nigiri tacos, birria gyozas, skirt steak with Viet chimichurri sauce, ceviche, short-rib tacos, scallops with spicy hominy, and chai brownie for dessert. Every dish had great flavors and were seasoned very well. Steak was cooked perfectly and seafood quality tasted fresh. Hibiscus cocktail was also very tasty and refreshing. My only callouts were the chips for the ceviche were stale and the brownie was quite dry. Service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, checking on us constantly. Food pace was also well-timed and came out accordingly. The reason why I give this place a 4-star is because of the ambience. This bar restaurant is attached to the lobby and it can get very loud and rowdy with hotel guests sitting around. It would be better if the restaurant was separate from the lobby area to provide a more personal and less noisy dining experience. Also, the design could use some updating as it felt like eating in a restaurant located in a low-end casino. Ambience doesn't match the quality of the food.
