Jorge my bartender was so great. Food was good and he makes a hell of a whisky sour. Thanks Jorge for the good alcohol

The DJ on the main floor, however, didn't seem to be mixing much and mostly replayed the same songs after about 30 minutes. The service was spectacular. We ordered three bottles, which came with a pitcher of juice and four hookahs. You could choose to add mint flavor to the hookah or leave it out, though it still had a slight hint of mint even without it. Everyone also ordered individual drinks, which were about $25 each, and the wine bottle was $85. Anything we needed was brought to us quickly. We didn't get the private belly dancers, I guess they didn't come to work. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely come back again for a special event.

She said no, I asked again are you sure she says NO. I couldn't check the machine because before she handed to me she went all the way to the tip scree that said additional tip. I was like this SHADY af. I asked for a receipt and she said printer broken. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. So I grabbed the machine back and put my number in to get the receipt texted to me. Low and behold 22% tip and she charged us for water when I asked for tap water. I go back to her and show her the receipt and she is like oh I don't know what that is. I have never seen that before. Pleassseeeeee What a scam artist, she probably has done that to everyone there but everyone there is on a date and no one wants to be embarassed. Well IDGAF. She offered to give cash back and not tell her boss. Honestly he probably knows. Never going back. Ive been here 8 times. EVERYONE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!

We were initially charged $300 just to enter, by the bald black security in the front with no bottle or table service included. Once inside, when we attempted to go upstairs, security told us we would have to pay because we had 3 guys with us!!! We would have not been charged if it was only us girls. What made the situation even worse was watching other guests being allowed upstairs without being asked to pay the same additional fee. When I questioned why we were being treated differently, the security guard told us that if we weren't going to pay, we would have to "wait until he decided" to let us upstairs. I felt completely singled out and discriminated against, especially when we could clearly see that the same rules were not being applied to everyone. Despite everything that had already happened, we still ended up spending almost $1,000 on bottle service. After spending that amount, we were then told that we would not receive a sign because there was now supposedly a $1,000 minimum required to get one. This was especially frustrating because we had been at Bar Lis just ONE WEEK BEFORE, purchased a bottle for essentially the same price, and received a sign without any issue. There was no mention of a $1,000 minimum at that time. How does the policy suddenly change within one week, and why was none of this communicated before we spent our money? Between the $300 entry charge, being told to pay another $100 per person to go upstairs, and then spending almost $1,000 on bottle service only to be given a completely different explanation about their minimums, the entire experience felt misleading, inconsistent, and extremely unprofessional. This also did not feel like an issue with just one employee. Multiple employees were involved in the way the situation was handled, and management did nothing to make us feel that our concerns were being taken seriously. For a venue that presents itself as upscale, I expected transparency, professionalism, and consistent treatment of guests. Instead, we experienced unexpected charges, changing explanations, disrespectful treatment, and what I personally felt was discriminatory treatment. After spending that kind of money and being treated this way, I will absolutely not be returning.

We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and everything was presented really well. The enchiladas were flavorful, the grilled fish was cooked perfectly, and the tortillas with the short rib were a table favorite. Portions were great for sharing, and the sauces really tied everything together. Service was friendly and our server checked in on us throughout the night without making us feel rushed. It did get a little busy, so there were a few waits between courses, but nothing that took away from the experience. Overall Great atmosphere, solid food, and a fun place for birthdays or date nights. I'd definitely come back!!

Our waiter then told us we needed a specific Dine LA reservation, something that was never mentioned when I called or when I made the reservation. I've been to plenty of Dine LA restaurants and have never experienced this. The service wasn't necessarily bad, but it was very dismissive. No apology, no real explanation--they basically just brushed it off. Thankfully, the food saved the night! The Michelada oysters were TO DIE FOR--seriously one of the best oyster flavors I've ever had. We also had the short rib plate, which was delicious. The outdoor atmosphere and decor are really cute too. I would come back, but ONLY for those oysters--definitely not for the service.

We headed down to the regular bar which is in a house. To be honest, this house was so remincent of my colleges frat houses, it brought the most incredible nostalgia. I danced my heart out in my own zone until we were all told the club was closed. I never wanted to leave. It was the most fun I've had in a long time! - signed a midwest mom loooking for a good time

It is apparent that much effort was put into creating such first impression, and it is very striking. It is a very dynamic and distinct interior, but at times may be quite crowded and overwhelming. Service was average not horrible, but hardly friendly either. It involved waiting to some extent, and the process could have been more efficient in terms of communication. All in all, it is a cool place to visit once in a lifetime to experience it, however, some areas can be improved.

It's decorated with all the coolest nostalgia stuff from bright colors, fun designs and movie posters from the late 90s and 00s with Zero Lounge branding - such a cute idea. The drinks all followed with the themeing with adorable names and themes. They aren't just a kitschy type of thing though, the drinks were all delicious. They had a pretty good selection of NA drinks for my fellow Cali Sober peoples. My friend and I tried 4 from the menu and were surprised at how great they all were! I even had one with cute designs in the egg white foam on top. Seriously so many great ideas at Zero Lounge happening! One critique or area for improvement -they only have 1 bartender for the first few hours they were open. People were waiting over 30 minutes to order drinks and some gave up. I know we personally would have ordered more had the turnaround time been faster. Customers were getting frustrated, but everyone was very understanding to the bartender that it was not their fault, however they are hurting both their own bottom line of moneys and the customer's experience by having just 1 bartender working during events. Maybe on non-event days they only need 1, but their drinks are multi-ingredient, fancy & fun cocktails, so especially when an event is packing the space - have more than 1 bartender! Overall, really liked the vibe of this place and hope they hire more staff! I will definitely be back for more fun events - they do karaoke, too!

It's become so much more than just one of our favorite bars and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The biggest reason, though, is the people. Hospitality is something that's hard to fake, and the team here does it effortlessly. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted like an old friend. Over the years, the staff has created an environment that feels welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely personal, and that's something that's become increasingly rare. Matt, Sabrina, and the entire team are all such gems. Scott also deserves special recognition. He's a huge part of what makes The Rendition Room such a special place. Whether he's introducing a new cocktail, sharing the story behind a spirit, or simply taking the time to check in, his passion and care for every guest shine through. It's people like Scott who transform a great bar into a place you truly feel connected to. On our most recent visit, we tried the new Decade & Debauchery cocktail, celebrating The Rendition Room's 10 year anniversary, and it's phenomenal. Balanced, and beautifully executed. In a city full of great bars, they have managed to create something much harder to find, a sense of community. After all these years, it still feels just as special as the first time we walked in.
