This lobby lounge is at the historic landmark Hollywood Roosevelt. It's been renovated but the old Hollywood glamour vibe stays. I am glad they kept that gorgeous historic fountain. We were touring Hollywood blvd and decided to just valet here and hang out a bit. This lounge spot is very spacious with cozy couches all over and a big beautiful bar. They serve coffee and pastries till noon, finger foods all day till late night. The drink menu was very good and we decided on glass of Chardonnay and Vesper martini. Also espresso for caffeine boost. Hubby had to give the bartender directions on how to make a proper Vesper cause the first one wasn't good. Vesper martini is a classic British drink but not many bartenders know how to make a perfect one! The waitress and bartender were very accommodating and they made sure that second martini was done right. We had a very relaxing time at this classic lobby lounge. We will find time to stay here just to experience this historic hotel which was Marilyn Monroe's home for 2 years!

Came here to grab a couple celebratory drinks with family. The vibe is old Hollywood without the pressure of needing to meet attire expectations (we were very thankful that... our tourists outfits didn't impact our ability to enter and be served). We would definitely return glammed out next go-round! We ordered dirty martinis and espresso martinis - both were delicious. We also ordered a side of fries because I believe you haaaaaaave to as card carrying millennials (I joke...but...IYKYK) We were also able to be escorted to the roof (the Lobby is located in the lobby of the Roosevelt). All around this spot was where some core memories were made.

We had two separate servers because one went home during the middle of our dinner and both were equally horrible. Not even exaggerating when I say we waited at least 15 minutes after we asked for the check and there were probably only 10 tables in the entire restaurant. And we had to call her back over to ask for a second time. SMH. The food although flavorful was so ridiculously priced it was not even funny. I got a "ribeye ". Was literally eight thin slices of steak, like 1" x 1" size for $42! No, I will not be coming back here for so many reasons. The view is great. Castaways is definitely not what it used to be in the way of quality but at least you get more and you get the view. But definitely not worth it going to this place. It was quite a frustrating evening. Also, if you do decide to go here, just bring a coat when it's a little bit cooler in the evenings cause it does get cold up here and getting the staff to manage the heaters correctly is a whole other frustration. Oh, and valet is your only option for parking up here. It's kind of crazy because a few years ago you could just go park in the lot or the garage that's available there but now they're charging you $11 and it's chaos. I will say that the view up here is great though so if you're willing to forgo all of that for a view for like a one time date or something like that, it might be worth it

The Library Bar is small, intimate, and effortlessly cool, with dim lighting, vintage vibes, and an atmosphere that feels both upscale and unpretentious. There's no printed menu--instead, one of their highly skilled mixologists asks you a few thoughtful questions and creates a drink tailored exactly to your taste. It's a personalized, artful experience--and our cocktails were nothing short of spectacular. There's no food served, but that honestly wasn't an issue. This is the perfect spot for a date night or a quiet, elevated way to unwind after a day exploring Hollywood. Our only regret? We didn't make it back for a second visit. I had placed a phone order, for pick up; upon arrival, I found the service was prompt. I saw my food ready to go, just past the main walk-in area. Almost immediately after that, I was taken care of by the host and on my way. I've been waiting to try this place for ages so on the drive back to work I was excited to steal a piece of meat from the bag. Initial bite flavor was good, meat was tender just a bit on the chewy side.. I wasn't bothered by it too much as I'd have to leave it in an oven warmer at work. Trying to keep food warm, in doing so, I knew there'd be only two possible outcomes, melting tender or either tough & dry. So, the dish of meat and rice sat in the warmer for almost an hour hour and a half. The downhill slope.... Set the "meat " on the veggies and began to eat. Meat after meat, I kept experiencing the same exact texture. It was the same exact rubbery chew, I initially tasted. Each and every piece was the same exact flavor. There was no peak, there was no pitfall. If you cook or grill, you know this is a red flag. Normally, consistency would be a good thing, a Master craftsman type experience, but this was NOT it. As go on, I get the sinking feeling, this can't be real meat. I lock in, the deeper I dig, each piece looks the same, broken apart the same, tastes the same, just various shapes. They can call me crazy for this one - I'll stand by it. Something is not right here. I'm not even going to throw it away. I'm going to study it for the next few days and post an updated review. I hope I'm wrong but as of right now, I'll never revisit this place. Too freaky of an experience. We

Once we arrived the interior had a relaxed, easygoing vibe, modern but cozy, with stylish design touches that made the whole space feel welcoming and unhurried. Even the waiting area with it's low lit seating surrounded by book cases was really cool. My wife, my sister and I had a wonderful table near the fireplace in the center of the dining area. Nearby were draped booths that would be perfect for a more romantic evening. Our server was, Haley...she was incredible. Very personable, helpful and extremely professional. You'll be in good hands if you're lucky enough to get her! Then the food...Wow. My wife and my sister got the filet migons, watching my wife's euphoric reaction of taking her fist bite made my evening! Omg...thankfully, my wife let me try garlic fries that came with the filets, and they were the best I ever had! I got the Langostino Fettuccine...outstanding. You have to dig a little spicy, which I do...but the vodka cream sauce is the real highlight of this dish. For deserts we got the apple cobbler, the creme brulee and sticky toffee cake. All three were fantastic. But I preferred the cobbler and the toffee cake the most. We didn't get the Le Petit Gateau, their chocolate cake...but we decided to get one to go! HA...it's unbelievably rich and pretty tall and big. It's topped with candied wild cheries...it's two days later and we're still eating this yummy treat. All in all...I would recommend this for any occasion...wether you're looking for just a night out with solid service and great food, to a romantic evening. We got there around 6...but later on there was live music with these two gentlemen on guitars that really played perfect atmosphere music. You can't go wrong with a night out at Firefly!

We kicked things off with the queso fundido, and wow, it was absolutely delicious! Rich, melty, and packed with flavor, it was the perfect way to start the evening. For my entrée, I ordered the cochinita pibil, which was incredibly tender and saucy in the best way. My husband ordered the short rib, and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. On the side, we shared the papas bravas and esquite, both of which complemented our dishes perfectly. The drinks truly elevated the night. My husband and I both love mezcal, and Kateen delivered. I ordered the Valentine's Day "Zona Romántica," which featured mezcal and wine almost like a sangria, but completely unique and beautifully balanced. My husband had the "Gypsy Fever," also mezcal-based, and it was smoky, smooth, and refreshing. Between the food, cocktails, and ambiance, it made for such a romantic and memorable evening. We'll absolutely be back!!

However, the reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the valet parking experience. First, I was charged $25 even though the sign clearly stated that valet parking is $17 for the first 3 hours, and $25 after 3 hours. Our reservation was at 6:30 PM, we arrived on time, and we left before 9 PM, so the charge did not make sense. When I asked the valet attendant, he kept saying, "because you dined there," without giving any clear explanation. If it is actually a flat rate for restaurant guests, then that should be clearly stated upfront to customers. Second, when I got into my car, I noticed that someone had touched the navigation settings because the compass direction and display were different from what I normally use. I do not understand why there was any need to adjust or touch my navigation system at all. I really think the restaurant needs to improve and better manage its valet parking system. Honestly, it felt like I was being charged a random price just because I was told, "you dined there." If there is a flat valet rate for restaurant guests, that information should be clearly communicated upfront instead of leaving customers confused at the end.

A small restaurant located inside this plaza in Beverly Hills that you would never know about unless someone told you. Every time I've been, the waiters, service and management have been so nice and come check on you constantly. There are several sections in the restaurant (I think 3 but I could be wrong), but we've dined in the main room which has a retractable ceiling for when it's too sunny out, they have a bar area that has a small little lounge section in the back of it, and it looks like there may be another section that I haven't been to. The place definitely gives off those Latin vibes and you feel it once you arrive. As for the food, my boss ordered appetizers for the table, which were shrimp tacos, flautas, and empanadas which were all very good! My favorite were the flautas with guac. For my main dish I went with the Chilean sea bass with a side of broccolini and rice. That sea bass was phenomenal! It had a nice sweet glaze on it with a very slit crisp texture on the top. One of the best! The Hideaway goes down as one of my favorite spots in Beverly Hills and I highly recommend checking it out. OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

Women dressed in formal wear. Yes I wore my heels and brushed off some dust ;) We got there thinking there was going to have at least an appetizer menu. We had to order $60 per person so we thought with appetizers it could happen easy. Well when we saw the menu: charcuterie board, pita chips with hummus, pizza. Ok we ordered the board and pita. What we got was white $.99 paper plates with down cheese, nuts, apricots. Ridiculous $22 for a paper plate. The pita chips came with no hummus in a paper boat they were all crumbs. I can't believe we paid so much money to dress up, get a $260 table for paper plates with no utensils, no hummus. Ordering 2 sets of these because we didn't want to get sick from drinking on an empty stomach. I believe we ordered 4 drinks each by the nights end (cups were small too) our bill came out to $413! We asked for a receipt to which the waitress stated she couldn't get us. So the night came out to close to $650! And we were served on paper plates, no meal. It's a rip off. The show was nice but we had to be walking around to actually see it. Never doing this again!
