    Happy hour menu

Came here for happy hour after work on a Thursday. I found parking at a meters on the side street across from Te'kila. It was pretty quiet, not alot going on like back in the day. The bar adds 18% automatic gratuity to all bills. The bartender was nice and gave me everything I asked for. It was a chill time, nothing major to report. I got a well gin with club soda, tasty. A margarita which was good as well and the nachos without meat. No complaints just in and out.

Great Mexican restaurant! The fajitas were amazing--fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The carne asada fries were some of the best I've had, loaded with delicious toppings and generous portions. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive

Was in the area to watch the Hollywood holiday parade, and had some time to eat before it started, so we popped in to Te'Kila to grab something to eat. Sat at the bar and got things started. Luckily it was happy hour, so tacos and margaritas were on deck. Grabbed a mango margarita and a strawberry mango margarita. They were pretty basic, tequila tasted like it was bottom shelf, and the flavor was ok. Nothing amazing. Tacos were also hot and miss. The carne asada had nice flavor to it while the carnitas tasted like they needed some seasoning. Overall, can only comment on the happy hour for, but get the carne asada tacos, skip the carnitas and maybe get a margarita with better tequila.

AUTO GRATUITY OF 18% WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR CHECK WITHOUT NOTICE! This place is okay, it's a casual "sit yourself" spot. One thing I found a bit odd was the tacos only came with meat. There was no lettuce, onion, cilantro, cheese, etc to come with it. I would've rated this spot higher if the tacos came with toppings.

This is THE place to be for a Seahawks game. Football aside... the staff is always very friendly and prices are great for the area. Food is mediocre, BUT it's affordable, so I cannot complain. Best happy hour beer deals in the area.

The Food is good. The fajitas are excellent I get a combo of beef and shrimp and it is always delicious. Margaritas is big and strong and they have wide variety of tequila to choose from. The service is great, Victor, Victor #2 and Marina are awesome.

DELICIOUS food! STRONG drinks!!! An AMAZING happy hour menu which is all week and even all day on Sunday's! Happy hour items are limited but even the price of their regular items isn't that bad! $16 for a huge wet burrito! $50 in total for two meals with a lot of food & Two alcoholic drinks! And that's including tip in which they do charge an automatic 18% gratuity fee to every check. Service was awesome! Very attentive, they weren't super busy, inside is a very divey vibe, with Christmas lights, pop music on the tv's, cool art, it definitely matched Hollywood which is perfect cause it's right on the Hollywood walk of fame! Love this place and will definitely be coming back!

    More hair

Let me start by saying I love this restaurant I have been coming for years. Most of the workers know me or have seen my face. I usually order the buffalo wings and a frozen margarita....as you can see in the photos I demolished my wings but was very disappointed and disgusted to find a long piece of thick hair wrapped around one of the last three wings left and buried in the sauce. I called the location, asked for management and spoke with Francelli who said that the manager was not in. She said I could come with a receipt and get a new order which is cool but hairnets for cooks would be even better.

Everything!!! It wasn't fit for a Dog!!! Enchilada was dry, the black beans clearly came from a can (rinsed and served) the rice was decent and the Margarita was delish!! I had to ask for chips and salas!?!? Most Mexican restaurants provide chips and salsa almost before you can sit do, well not this place plus they charge you without warning!!

I had a great experience dining here with dear friends! We ordered the same drink, Frozen Margarita (strawberry) and it is the best I have tasted so far! The strawberry flavor is strong but you can also feel and taste the alcohol. The foods are simple but they are great because they are prepared well! Their chicken Fajita, Elote, rice, beans, and meat, and the spicy salsa are good!!! Service is swift and the staff are professional and accommodating! I recommend this place.

Came here in because it was right next to a burger place/bar. Super kewl small place. We didn't eat any food but the margarita were great. The bartender was super friend and drinks came right away.

We stopped here for lunch while walking around Hollywood Blvd. It had some good reviews and was a bit past the major tourist area, so we decided to give it a try. We were quickly seated. They had a nice outdoor patio and inside area along with bar seating. We chose to sit inside. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. We chose to share steak enchiladas which came with rice and beans. Our meal arrived hot and fresb after a short wait. My boyfriend and I both loved it. The sauce had a nice kick of spice, the steak was tender and well seasoned, and the rice and beans were also really good. We both were full sharing the order and left with happy tummies. I wanted to try more Mexican spots while in LA, but was short on time. I'm glad I got to try this place at least and would recommend!

    Are the drinks expensive?

God yes 🙄 nothings less than $12

Do you take RSVPs? Your website has the Yelp widget but it brings me back to this page with nowhere to RSVP.

They do not take reservations at this location. I just had the same experience with the looping back to the Yelp page. When I called they informed me.

Is the online reservation system down or does it no longer exist? The reservations page on the restaurant website redirects to the Yelp page, where there is no reso feature.

I just called Te'Kila and they said they no longer take reservations and have switched to "first come first serve."

They have happy hour every day 4-7 I believe..and all day Sundays. This is as of 1/17/26.

Is this a 21 and over only establishment?

No, it's just a restaurant that serves liquor.

Is this restaurant appropriate for kids age 10-12?

    No. It's a bar, mostly

Did they get rid of $15 beer pitchers on taco Tuesday?

Didn't see it on the menu last time I was there

Is this place recommended to make reservations?

On a Friday night or weekend I'd say absolutely! Never been on a weekday so can't confirm. Cheers :)

Would this place be good for a 21st birthday, for about 15/18 people?

Yes. They have a large dining area on the right side of the restaurant with TV's. There was a large-ish party there when we were having dinner. Bar was packed also. Seemed to be a younger crowd, age range 21-35

We kicked things off with the queso fundido, and wow, it was absolutely delicious! Rich, melty, and packed with flavor, it was the perfect way to start the evening. For my entrée, I ordered the cochinita pibil, which was incredibly tender and saucy in the best way. My husband ordered the short rib, and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. On the side, we shared the papas bravas and esquite, both of which complemented our dishes perfectly. The drinks truly elevated the night. My husband and I both love mezcal, and Kateen delivered. I ordered the Valentine's Day "Zona Romántica," which featured mezcal and wine almost like a sangria, but completely unique and beautifully balanced. My husband had the "Gypsy Fever," also mezcal-based, and it was smoky, smooth, and refreshing. Between the food, cocktails, and ambiance, it made for such a romantic and memorable evening. This time, we decided to give it another shot since it has so many good reviews, and I'm glad we did. The ambiance was much better, with nice Tulum-style vibes and music that really set the mood. From the moment we walked in, service was great. We were greeted and seated right away thanks to our reservation. Our waitress, Brenda, was friendly, attentive, and super helpful in explaining the menu and recommending drinks. She checked in often and made sure everything came out quickly. The food was good overall, though the menu is a bit limited if you don't eat meat or seafood. I was especially looking forward to the fish tacos, but it seems like they've been removed from the menu. One thing I really appreciated was the mocktail options. Perfect if you're not drinking but still want something fun. The Wes Colada is a great pick if you like piña colada type drinks, though it is on the sweeter side. The michelada was also really well done, with a nice balance of savory and sour. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this spot for a date night or a girls' night out.
