Since we didn't get food, here is a photo from the show

Let me tell you about this place. We had tickets to Moulin Rouge at the Pantages and they advertised a 3 course meal for $65 and get you out in time for your show. WELL, I have NEVER had this level of terrible service. The food was ordered and never came out. After multiple complaints to the manager, we got salads and then had to cancel the rest of the order to be able to make it to the theater on time. THE WORST was that the manager was rude and unapologetic for the issues we were having and made 0 attempts to even get the food out faster. You would think that it was really crowded but fact was that it was empty and now I know why. AVOID THIS PLACE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

Valet and a block away from Pantages makes this a great spot to grab a bite and drink before the show. Bartenders are welcoming and attentive. You can order off the bar menu or take your drink to Jane Q. Great view of surrounding buildings.

Located inside the Kimpton Everly Hotel. Cool LA vibe overlooking the downtown with full view floor to ceiling windows. Couches to lounge in spaced spaciously. Glass room partitioned within the bar lined with low level cushioned couches. A pool table for a relaxing games between sips. Drinks ~ Vegas like pricing for small pours. The concoctions need work. Bartenders ~ they all need retraining. Very slow and take their leisurely time to tend the guests. Watch them make drinks and it will put you to sleep. The cool vibe is a large living room with ample lounging. Service was the sour taste in the drinks.

I stayed at this Kimpton Hotel in LA for first time and as a loyal and fanatic of the brand, again...I was not disappointed. My only negative critique, was that I had wish there bar was open earlier in the afternoon. The bar opens at 5pm. The room then fills with hotel guests and some locals with a simple menu of pizzas and small bites and a very well prepared cocktail and spirits list. I had a very elegant time and ordered the pepperoni pizza with hot honey. Very well balanced and baked and a delicious crust.

Gorgeous drinks, topped with extraordinarily staff. Lauren and Mallory helped me out today at the bar! It's such a wonderful treat coming here. They deserve recognition for their extraordinary efforts. Excellence is always here. Tiktok didn't make me buy it, this time it was yelp! Very therapeutic being surrounded by contemporary elements, such as the seatings, lighting, staff is amazingly talented!! They are so outstanding, because of their outstanding work, i am beyond thrilled to becoming a proud re accruing client!! My friends will definitely be accompanying me. Their drinks are pretty, tasty, so delightful to experience and so aesthetic. Do yourself a favor and come here!!!! They have spectacular selections. The combination of elements and quality here is worthwhile. I wish i knew about it sooner. Plenty of parking to avoid paying the valet. I am so happy every time i come here. The views are so beautiful, definitely very memorable. I didn't even know the kimpton existed, but when i started coming here i understood how amazing their brand is. Kimpton is my new favorite top places to spend my week and weekends here no matter the occasion. Beyond amazing!! The cocktails are refreshing and exquisite.

Tucked inside the trendy and modern Everly Hotel, the Ever Bar is a bit of a gem. The bartenders are friendly, and they pour cocktails right. I had a local friend comment that his Old Fashioned was perfect, something that strangely seems a lost art in Hollywood these days. They have special themed drinks as well, such as drinks named for Oscar-nominated films. If you're an Everly guest, they offer a complimentary wine hour nightly from 5-6pm. During my stay I tried each of the three offerings (I stayed a whole week, before you get ideas), and there were no hidden Franzia boxes to be found. Outside of wine hour, the drinks are pricey, but it's to be expected for the location. It is an aesthetically interesting place. There are high ceilings, tons of natural light, and a huge display of liquor behind the bar. You have a wide variety of seating options, from cozy couches to stools at the bar. (Pro tip: There are power chargers under the bar for those of us who inevitably need to charge the phone.) On some evenings, they have live music. It can get crowded, and it definitely gets loud, but you can't hear a thing from the guest rooms, which is important if you're a hotel guest. If you're not, you can also get 3 hours of parking for $10 with validation. My understanding is that is a bargain price for the area, especially that close to the Pantages. There is a modest bar food menu, but I was disappointed to find there were no vegan options, nor does the restaurant on site offer anything vegan. That was a little surprising in LA, to be honest. I suppose we could say it's one hummus plate away from five stars at the end of the night.

This is a bar and lounge at new Kimpton Everly hotel in Hollywood, we stayed at this hotel for a few days so we just hung out here for drinks mostly. This place is very open and spacious with lots of comfy seatings, also a pool table by the windows. The bar menu was very impressive, so many classic and creative seasonal cocktails, priced from $14-16 which was very reasonable in Hollywood. I tried espresso martini, lemon drop martini, nutty by nature which was a very strong and refreshing mezcal cocktail. Hubby and friends tried Vesper martini and old fashioned, they were all very strong and tasty. The evening free wine tasting attracted a lot of hotel guests, but we don't really like wines so we just skipped it. The limited food menu was good, we tried spicy tuna crispy rice and pretzel bread with dipping cheese, both were very yummy. The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating most of the time. There was a birthday party on Saturday night and DJ spinning, so the vibe was lively and people watching was fun too. This is a low key lounge most of the time, if you like creative cocktails and relaxing lounging you will definitely love this place! Ps. Validated parking for about $22.

I should let you know that this review is for 'Miracle,' the Christmas bar that runs until 12/31. Miracle is a pop up at different bars across the country and the one in LA happens to be super close to where I live. So we decided to walk here for a drink on Saturday night. This place is decked out, in a good way. So many decorations you don't even know where to look! Miracle has a set drink menu but Ever Bar also had their own seasonal drink menu. I tried two of the Miracle drinks ($16 each) and they were both delicious and festive! Served in Christmas drinkware. This place was packed but it didn't feel crowded because of the layout. The service was quick and efficient as well. We did order the grilled cheese and tomato soup and it was OK. The bread was great but the mix of cheese was odd and not 100% melted. My boyfriend ordered the prime rib sandiwch and said that was great. I'm still giving this place five stars because it's a beautiful place with great cocktails and service! I want to go back once Miracle leaves and try some of their noraml menu items.

Oh the beauty that is Ever Bar. This is a review for the Miracle at the Everly pop up Christmas bar! My friends were super excited to check this place out when we first heard about it. This place was open on Christmas Day! The easiest way to park is just to have the hotel valet your car. Parking is $10 for three hours. This is whether or not you actually do end up staying the entire three hours. When we first stepped it, which is just a few steps to the left upon entering the hotel, we saw all the lights. The bar area is so beautiful with the Christmas lights and the Santa covered chairs. They have an assortment of decorations for you to take pictures in front of. Additionally, they have a variety of drinks you can order. I ordered the Christmapolitan drink, but opted to get it without the alcohol. They were able to accommodate that and make me a wonderful drink. They also had some games you can play to pass the time and use up close to the 3 hours you paid for parking. If you get the chance, please visit this pop up bar before they potentially move somewhere else!

Also on the HH menu were a few food options and my friend had a $4 Steak Taco which he was happy with. Shirley Brasserie, the restaurant referred to above, is also located in The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (located next to The Lobby). The "iconic" they refer to is the fact that this hotel is historic -- it was built in 1926 during the Golden Era of Los Angeles architecture. It is named after Theodore Roosevelt. The first Academy Awards (Oscars) was held here in 1929. The hotel had its ups and downs since then but currently it looks beautiful and thriving. Take your out-of-state visiting friends/relatives to this place. Because this is a big part of "Hollywood". I recommend The Lobby to hang out after a long day's work or after a nice dinner nearby. This is where my sister and I went after our dinner at Musso and Frank. My sister ordered their Espresso Martini which was really good. I had a beer. Our server wasn't as warm as the ones during my visit in 2023. I think she was an introvert or a bit of a nervous person. But she did not seem potentially horrible. Restroom: I did not go to the restroom this time. I think there was a line. But I remember back in 2023 that you had to ask for a key or a code. Which is understandable for this area. Parking: I recommend the valet parking. If validated, the fee is really reasonable (I forgot how much they charged). We got ours validated because we ordered those drinks from The Lobby.

Even though this restaurant is a bar restaurant located in the Loews Hotel, the dishes are a lot more elevated and high-quality than I expected when compared to bar food. Food was actually very good. We ordered spicy tuna nigiri tacos, birria gyozas, skirt steak with Viet chimichurri sauce, ceviche, short-rib tacos, scallops with spicy hominy, and chai brownie for dessert. Every dish had great flavors and were seasoned very well. Steak was cooked perfectly and seafood quality tasted fresh. Hibiscus cocktail was also very tasty and refreshing. My only callouts were the chips for the ceviche were stale and the brownie was quite dry. Service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, checking on us constantly. Food pace was also well-timed and came out accordingly. The reason why I give this place a 4-star is because of the ambience. This bar restaurant is attached to the lobby and it can get very loud and rowdy with hotel guests sitting around. It would be better if the restaurant was separate from the lobby area to provide a more personal and less noisy dining experience. Also, the design could use some updating as it felt like eating in a restaurant located in a low-end casino. Ambience doesn't match the quality of the food.
