My friend, some 20 years ago, said he will pay for my meal if I try their chicken quesadilla and since that day, that's mostly the only thing I've been having at Astro Burger. Oh what a wonderful find. ASTRO Burger had the parking and the service and the delicious foods. The counter lady was friendly and helpful. No problem ordering the juicy cheeseburger that the lovely missus says was super. Son was hungry and he knows this place has good food. A tuna melt and a plump pastrami sandwich filled the stomach and for sure we shared that crunchy battered onion rings for good measure. ASTRO Gastrointestinal Burger is what they should re-name this place. 15 mins upon leaving I was busting a gut from the food. Honestly I'd been thinking about this place for ages but always kept going but today I stopped. Frankly I wished my car had broken done on Fairfax so I didn't dine here. OMG I ordered a taco & pastrami burger with a coke as my tasty beverage to wash it all down with. Hell I needed a 2 liter bottle in hopes of washing that taste away. Taco was a cheaply made version of a taco that lacked flavor but I did appreciate they have made the shell. Fried in something to make it crispy but the inner workings of that taco were sad, just look at the photo. Next was the pastrami burger that was horrific in taste. Maybe it was the frozen patty's I don't know but something didn't agree with me on this sandwich. Please note the photos look great but don't let that fool you into thinking I'm crazy. If you must well dine at your own risk and bring a roll of TP in case you need to stop in an alley. The restaurant itself was a charming place with indoor and outdoor seating. A small " Out of Order " jukebox was on each table inside however mine didn't work.
