    Bacon Lettuce Tomato Cheeseburger
    Winn H.

Astro Burger is a name I've seen on forums asking for classic LA eats. It's a classic American diner with chili, too. I had their Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato Cheeseburger - $15! At this price point, it rivals a regular restaurant, and that's before including fries, a drink, and tip. There's something special about this, though. Everything looked like a cheaply made burger BUT the taste threw me off. The bacon? Fresh and crispy! The veggies? Fresh and crispy, too! The patty? Juicy like all the rest. The real shocker came minutes after I devoured that burger. Normally, my stomach would feel iffy after such a meal. However, everything somehow felt healthy and whole after this meal. Not a single hint of indigestion or bloatedness... what's the secret?! Now, parking may feel intimidating in WeHo, but rest assured, there are ample parking spots along the street and in the residential area 1-3 blocks away, so long as you don't mind getting some steps in.

I stopped by this Astro Burger location yesterday morning to try their burgers since I was already going across the street to get my wife and my sister their coffee. I found parking easily because I came right when they open. People were already dining inside so I think they open a little earlier. I asked the lady working the cashier which burger should recommend and she said all of them are good because they are known for their burgers. So I got the bacon cheeseburger and ordered the fries too. It didn't take them long to make my food and when I got back from picking up the coffee across the street, my food was ready for pickup. I took it home to eat it there. The bacon cheeseburger was okay but I did not like the fries at all. It was more crispy and crunchy but lack favor. Eating the bacon burger did not get messy at all. This burger place is nice to try once but I'll stick to my usual burger spot. They also charge a fee for paying with card which is unfortunate.

Walked here after hanging out at a nearby park. Ordered the double cheeseburger added bacon and a bacon avocado burger and a small side of fries. The fries were good and crispy and a nice portion. Love the bacon on the burgers. Super crispy and a good amount. Good amount of avocado. Overall a good place to grab a quick bite to eat.

I swear ya'll sleeping on these tacos...best in LA - I promise. There is an Astro Burger near me, but the tacos here are sooooo much better and more fresh!

Astro Burger is the quintessential old-school "burger joint" that is so hard to find these days! It has that nostalgic old school diner vibe, think "Pulp Fiction" cerca 1994. I love that they put pastrami on their burgers. I think that makes them super unique. I had to try it, because what's better than meat with more meat on top. They even let me get it lettuce-wrapped which I really appreciated. The burger was juicy and well-seasoned. It came with lettuce, tomato, onion, and loaded with a big slab of pastrami and cheese. I absolutely loved it. And I loved sitting at the diner-style booth as well. I tried some fries and those were good too, crisp and perfectly salted. The servers were super friendly and made you feel like you were at home there. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back for more, from the minute you walk in. Please never change!

After a night of dancing, I was hungry and I always know I can count on a great burger from Astro Burger! The burger was cooked, medium rare and cooked to perfection! I don't eat bread so I asked them for a lettuce wrapped burger. The service was great and quick! Before I left, I had dropped my debit card and when I went back in and they asked the name on it and they gave it back to me! This place is great because it's open till 3 AM and the food is always fresh!

Astro burger is a local favorite, they have a pretty descent selection of food. More than burgers only and everything on their menu is fire, tastes great. The diner has a small indoor dining area and a very ample outdoor eating area. Freshly made food paired with excellent service, really makes it difficult to order just one thing. On the real though this reminds me of those classic diners you'd hit up with your friends and family when you were a kid. I just wish they had chilaquiles lol! But that's a personal preference because whatever they're doing, sure seems to work for them. Definitely recommend this spot if ever in the area and you're in the mood for some great tasting food, that won't break the bank.

    Chicken Quesadilla

My friend, some 20 years ago, said he will pay for my meal if I try their chicken quesadilla and since that day, that's mostly the only thing I've been having at Astro Burger. The quesadilla is outstanding! They grill the chicken and the large tortilla with cheese and fill it up with diced tomatoes, onions, some herbs and avocado. The combination is unparalleled. The vast part of the tortilla somewhat traps the juices of all the fine ingredients and as you close in for a bite, you're getting one juicy bite every time, full of flavor. The marriage of tender texture of the yummy ingredients and the perfect crispy texture of the tortilla, make this quesadilla feast a close to perfect, elevated experience. Super tasty, super good! The place looks like a standard diner with a bunch of booths inside and a dining patio on the outside. The service is friendly and attentive. And don't let the simplicity of this place fool you, cause it's legendary. Even Hillary Swank, right after winning her Best Actress Oscar, went straight to Astro Burger for her fix!

Stopped in for a quick bit and ordered their charred cheeseburger with a side of fries and a Coke. The burger was everything and then some. The fries cooked crisp. The coke was fountain perfect. Place gets mad busy. The food really delivered! Excellent!

I was in the area and ready for some midnight munchies. I'm a chili cheeseburger fan so I ordered this since it was on the menu. Luckily I got there when I did because more hungry patrons showed up. The burger ended up being pretty good but nothing near the perfection of a Tommy's burger.

Oh what a wonderful find. ASTRO Burger had the parking and the service and the delicious foods. The counter lady was friendly and helpful. No problem ordering the juicy cheeseburger that the lovely missus says was super. Son was hungry and he knows this place has good food. A tuna melt and a plump pastrami sandwich filled the stomach and for sure we shared that crunchy battered onion rings for good measure. I wanted dinner and the Fish and Chips plate was a great choice and it comes laden with fries and a side of fresh green salad and a cheesy Texas Toast. We couldn't ask for a better impromptu and clean surrounding little diner with a service oriented place than ASTRO Burger. Yes, this place has the holiday spirit with decor and background music to fit the season's greetings. Definitely would return given a chance to be in the area again.

    chris q.

Super hot French fries. Fantastic burger made to order. The flavor leans toward backyard grilled burgers you would make yourself. Way faster service than in-n-out. Friendly staff. Occasional star sighting. The restaurant is decorated for the holidays. For what it is, it's perfect. What is it you ask? It's a classic burger joint. The establishment is high traffic to say the least. It felt like Grand Central Station while I was there and yet somehow the bathroom was still clean. I noticed one thing that might explain why this place runs so smoothly; the staff is older and really knows their role. If you just sit back and watch them it's like a choreographed dance. There's no one directing anything. They're just all working hard non-stop. Plus they all seem genuinely happy to be working here. It's a feel good establishment. You should go.

The service here is excellent and everything ran smoothly with zero issues. The bread and butter here is excellent while waiting for your meal. I had the beef stroganoff, which is a comfort dish for me. It's hearty and delicious so I couldn't wait to try this dish. I was certainly surprised because I was not expecting it to be incredibly flavorful. It was so good I couldn't stop eating it. Highly recommended! We ended our meal with the devil's advocate flourless chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, which was delicious for being flourless. What a perfect way to end a tasty meal. My only complaint is the parking because we didn't know where we could park. We ended up getting a ticket because we thought we could park nearby. Definitely recommend asking where to park to avoid a ticket. Overall, we very much enjoyed our dining experience and will certainly be back to try other menu items.

Overall, I'd give 3.5 stars. Granville is a chain restaurant, similar to the likes of Olive garden,…read moreChilies, etc, but probably a tad more upscale in terms of the overall decor and vibe. Service was fine, but nothing special. We were greeted, seated and the waitress took our orders. Once the food arrived, our waitress barely came by again except towards the end to drop off our check. Other staff did come by to clear our empty plates from the table, so that was nice. We did notice that they only provided 1 serving spoon for all of our dishes. Would've liked a serving utensil with each dish to minimize cross-contamination and mixing of flavors. Throughout our dining, there were flies and small bugs flying around, which was off-putting and annoying as we had to keep swatting them away from landing on our food. 1. Farmhouse Beet Salad (5/5) It's a good thing this was the 1st dish to arrive at our table as it left a good 1st impression. The roasted organic beets were fresh and had that earthy-tone to it. Dressed with their lemon-oregano vinaigrette, feta, arugula, and candied pecans. OMG, those candied pecans were heavenly. It's crunchy and toasted to perfection. the candied flavor of it was addictingly delicious. If they have a menu item of candied pecans, I'll order it any day. 2. Trio Taco (2.5/5) You can choose between chicken, steak, shrimp, plant-based chicken, or jackfruit. We opted for steak. The steak was fine, but for BBQ sauce used was just a dish killer. They need to rethink the choice of sauce used in these tacos. Also, not a fan of corn tortilla. Wish they gave a choice between corn and flour tortilla. 3. Artisan Bread & Butter (5/5) Their sourdough bread sliced, grilled and brushed generously with garlic olive oil. Severed with a side of whipped duckfat butter. I've never had duck fat butter before, so this was a pleasant experience to try. Not to worry, there's no duck flavor at all. It's almost like cream cheese but lighter and airer. 4. Ahi Filet (1.5/5) Sesame-crusted ahi with a side wasabi aioli. The ahi was so-so; definitely, not the freshest and there's no "melt-in-your mouth" joy. The wasabi aioli sauce was good though. There is a subtle spice kick from the wasabi. It's served with a side of soba noodles that was gingery and peanuty in flavor. Unfortunately, the noodles were overcooked as they stuck to each other in clumps. 5. Bacon & Blue Burger (4.5/5) Quite a satisfying burger consisting of wagyu beef, duroc bacon, aged blue cheese, caramelized onions, and arugula. It's juicy, meaty, slightly tangy from the horseradish aioli and sweet from the port wine reduction. The brioche bun was pleasantly soft. 6. Thai Ginger Salad (3/5) This salad consists of romaine lettuce as the base. It is dressed with Thai sesame dressing, which was underwhelming. The toppings for this salad include fresh mango cubes, slaw, slices of avocado, fresh peanut bits, tomato and soba noodles. It's not a bad salad, but for the price, I do not think it is worth it. 7. Superfood Longevity Salad (4/5) A salad consisting of mixed greens (lacinato kale and spring mix) with a variety of rich, nutritious toppings (organic beets, quinoa, pomegranate, radish, blueberries, almonds, dried Bing cherries, and pepitas). The dressing is a sherry vinaigrette that's tangy, creamy and light. All the ingredients came together well. If you are looking for a hearty salad, this is for you. 8. Hibiscus Rosé (4/5) Sparkling rosé with hibiscus flavor infused with grapefruit skin to give it a bit of citrus note and topped off with a micro flower to add a special touch of decor to the drink. In summary, the food looks better than it actually tastes. Come here if you want to eat out with a large party for celebration, but otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it for a special night out as the price does not justify the experience.

I'm excited to report that it lives up to the hype and is very worth the splurge! Valet parking is $25 for the first four hours, just so you know. (And all the guys that park the cars are hot and built like brick houses!) Worthy investment. Granted, the Dine LA menu is priced at $95 per person (before taxes, tip and the 4% health charge), however the fascinating flavors and the advanced cooking techniques used to produce them justify the charge. While we ordered the Dine LA menu, we had to ask permission from the chef to order from the à la carte menu (to satisfy our curiosity). We were thankfully accommodated. The tuna violet bouquet was as delicious as it was beautiful. I thought it was going to taste like your typical tuna tartare, but it didn't. It was elevated in a way I can't even explain. The portion is tiny - just enough for one person but it's one of those dishes you won't ever forget. The same went for the black truffle agnolotti. So unique. It had all sorts of textures and flavors dancing on the tongue - crunchiness, then softness (the pasta) and then umami from the mushroom broth. The broth is clarified with parmesan! How does one even do that? I couldn't get enough of it. I slurped every bit and didn't care. Chef Crenn's expertise is flexed all throughout the meal. They apparently braise the beef for over 50 hours and while they explained more of it I couldn't pay attention because the mushroom maitake purée distracted me. It was just out of this world. A little salty but I loved it. Hubby ordered the potato agnolotti which had a delicious creamy sauce - well-balanced. Ugh so good. The chocolate cannage was filled with a thick mousse and a tart cherry compote that cut through all that richness. I ate this very slowly because I didn't want the meal to end. The other dessert option was just ok in my opinion - a small strawberry sorbet. This entire meal was a sensory delight from start to finish. Every single thing was gorgeous and delicious and aromatic. It wasn't just the food that was so pleasing to behold, but also the chairs, the silverware, dishware and every single thing you could see. Christian Dior earned my respect all over again. The whole dining concept was thoughtfully curated and masterfully executed. It's one of my new favorite restaurants for sure! We think it may be a WiFi/Starlink connectivity issue based on where I was parked to charge in proximity to the diner itself. ) Still, That kind of service deserves recognition. You can have all the cool technology in the world, but it's people like Officer Jackson who turn a fun visit into a memorable experience. She especially gets Great food, cool atmosphere, fun technology (except the connectivity issue)--and exceptional hospitality. Thank you, Officer Jackson, for going above and beyond. What an experience!

I highly recommend timing your visit around sunset to fully enjoy the charming string lights and romantic ambiance they create. Unfortunately, a bug bit me while I was sitting at our picnic table, so next time I'll probably opt for indoor seating. I was craving a high-quality pizza, and this place absolutely hit the spot. I ordered the mushroom pizza, and it did not disappoint. I also tried the house radicchio salad, but it wasn't my favorite. The mix of herbs and greens came across as overly bitter, and I couldn't finish it. One thing to note: I requested tap water when placing our order but later noticed I had been charged for their bottled still water. After bringing it to their attention, they promptly removed the charge. Be sure to double-check your receipt. I'm happy with how quickly they fixed the mistake tho! Unfortunately, they don't offer mocktails, so I ordered an Arnold Palmer instead. It was a bit bland and lacked balance. My friend tried one of the aguas frescas and wasn't particularly impressed either. Would love to see a curated mocktail list on their menu soon! Despite those minor issues, I'd definitely return. I'm looking forward to coming back to try brunch and cappuccinos at their new Manhattan Beach location!

Has limited seating inside and out so get there early if you can! I love the decor with the butterflies on the wall and they are playing chill jams. They have a cute chalkboard off the menu and a cool photo wall is celebrities who have visited. My fiancé and I tried the Huevos Rancheros plate, Peaches and Cream Waffle, and the Thai Style Fried Chicken plate. Along with their two drinks; Sunset Refresher & Blueberry Vanilla Cold Foam Matcha. Huevos Rancheros were a hit. To be honest I thought the dish to be a small serving at first. But it's actually a good portion. You get three tostadas stacked and layered with black beans and mozzarella and topped off with over easy eggs and salsa. I loved how the corn tortillas maintained their crunch and never got soggy. The habanero salsa that it came had a good KICK. Peaches and Cream waffle was good as well. It is seasonal so we jumped on the opportunity. Waffle was thick and fluffy that came with powdered sugar and cinnamon. The peaches were also thick and the sauce it came was light and sweet. Can never go wrong with ice cream and waffles. The Thai Style chicken was pleasant surprise. Before we ate the chicken, I tried a piece of the breading and I knew it was gonna be a good one. Lots of flavor from the tom yum seasoning and the chicken was a decent size. It's not spicy and comes with a sweet sauce to dip in. The bell peppers balanced out this dish. I was a fan of the sunset refresher. It's a mix of hibiscus, pineapple and lemonade. It's more tart than sweet but refreshing. The blueberry cold foam iced matcha was solid. Not too sweet and properly balance. Overall a good brunch spot with a large menu guaranteed to have you come back to try other things. A little pricey.
