Thank you to Nick and Enzo for providing a wonderful service. You were both attentive and professional throughout the event. They even taught us how to make wood fire pizzas and they went above and beyond to make us the event was successful. Definitely worth every penny.

The folks working here are very polite and more on the younger side. Eating here almost gave me some nostalgia from working in the mall in my younger days lol The place has a casual ordering style, where you order at the counter and wait for your food. The food comes quickly and the prices here are very reasonable. This is a great option when visiting the Grove. This place got on my radar because I saw that their Roman style pizzas are really good. I actually been here twice now and went before going to see a movie at the theater. My first visit, I got the olive and anchovies pizza. It sounded the most Roman option I could get and it was tasty! On my second visit, I came with a friend and we got the potato pizza and the margherita and split them. The pizzas don't feel super heavy and they have a nice crispy crust. The toppings are generous with fresh ingredients. I'm a fan of the pizzas. This place also has a connection to Brandy Melville so you can tell there's a similar vibe between the retail store and this restaurant/café. I've only been inside of Brandy Melville once when I took my niece during Christmas and I can see the similarities.

Used to be owned by a…read morevery curmudgeonly woman, but now the folks are quite nice, and it's a pleasure to give them some business. The pizza is far better, too. Good-sized pies lead to good-sized slices that feel worth the price, and there's a nice variety of pre-made pizzas to choose from. I opted for a slice of the Sausage & Rapini, which was really very good. Fennel sausage and braised rapini with a smattering of black olives and dollops of ricotta. They use a white sauce for this pie, but it's not heavy, and it blended nicely with the mozzarella cheese to create a tasty base without being too rich. The fennel sausage was very flavorful with just a touch of spice, and the natural bitterness of the rapini was a good foil for the richness of the cheeses. A very good bite to be sure. The crust was sturdy and flavorful, but I think would be better when a whole pie comes straight from the oven. Reheated as it was, which is to be expected, it didn't crisp back up fully, and that would have been the best of all possible worlds. Located in the western corner of the Farmer's Market, next to venerable stalwarts Charlie's and The Gumbo Pot, this nifty pizza nook is adjacent to plenty of tables, and near the bathrooms, making it the perfect t place to get a slice or pie and relax for a few.

(Warning: Cash only) Definitely in the top 3 pizza places I've ever had. Wow is all I can say…read more Tried 3-4 different slices and I my favorite was the pepperoni square slice with fresh burrata and hot honey on top. Also loved the triangle slice with pink sauce. Parking is decent. They have a lot right in front of the restaurant. It's limited, so additional parking is available across the street in a parking garage (to the right of the restaurant if you're looking at it head on). Workers are really laid back. Talking to them feels like being teleported to New York - they're so kind and charismatic haha. Only cash is accepted so be prepared. I believe 4 by-the-slices with no drinks costs roughly $32 so very decent and worth every penny. Wait time was about 25min from the time we ordered. No tables and chairs are available but they do have standing bars you can eat at. Keep in mind the restaurant gets pretty packed and really hot from the ovens. Wasn't an issue for me but I imagine it could be rough for some during height of summer. Ex.cel.lent. Worth making a trip to LA just for this lol.

The Most Overrated Pizza I've Ever Had!…read more You have GOT to be kidding me with this pizza! I had extremely high expectations after reading all the glowing reviews, but this turned out to be one of the most disappointing pizza experiences I've ever had. Overrated, overpriced, and absolutely not worth the hype! Let me explain. On Halloween night, October 31st, I arrived right when they opened at 5:00 PM to order their advertised 10-by-14-inch deep-pan pepperoni pizza, which cost approximately $40. I was informed that because of the Halloween festivities and the number of orders they had received, the wait would be an hour and 45 minutes. Fair enough. I understood they were busy and agreed to return at 6:45 PM. To their credit, the pizza was ready when promised. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. First, the presentation was disappointing. The edges were noticeably charred, and the pepperoni was slightly overcooked. Now, I understand that certain pizza styles are baked at high temperatures and some charring is normal. But there's a difference between a properly baked crust and one that looks and tastes overdone. Second, the crust was absolutely terrible! For a pizza supposedly made fresh, the dough was unbelievably thick, dense, and dry. I honestly felt like I was biting into cardboard! There was nothing light, fluffy, or enjoyable about it. Just an overwhelming amount of bread that didn't even taste freshly baked. Third, the sauce was completely excessive! My friend and I each tried a slice, and I even went back for another, hoping a middle slice would be better. Nope! There was so much sauce that I might as well have been eating spaghetti sauce piled onto thick bread. To make matters worse, it was incredibly salty. The sauce completely overwhelmed everything else. And here's what really gets me: $40 for six slices of pizza! Seriously? At that price, I expect something exceptional. Either give customers a generous portion or, better yet, make a pizza that actually tastes worth the money! Unfortunately, this delivered neither quality nor value. I also have to mention the location. It's in a high-traffic area, and finding convenient parking is another challenge. Between the parking situation, the hour-and-45-minute wait, and the disappointing pizza, the entire experience simply wasn't worth it. My final rating: 1 out of 5 stars. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because the order was completed on time. That's honestly the only positive thing I can say about the experience. I'm genuinely baffled by the glowing reviews and the $40 price tag. What exactly justifies charging that much for a pizza with such disappointing texture, flavor, and overall quality? I'm not writing this to bash the business. I'm sharing my experience because I believe customers deserve an honest review before spending their hard-earned money. And yes, I have the receipt to back up my purchase and what I paid. Maybe others have had better experiences, but based on mine, this was a complete letdown. One and done for me. I won't be returning. Hopefully, this review helps someone else decide whether this pizza is really worth the money, the wait, and the hype. For me, it absolutely wasn't!

I met a guy on Tinder and he suggested we go see a show at the Groundlings Theater. I love comedy! Well unfortunately the guy was a nerd and the show was boring- nothing like Kill Tony. That whole place blows. They kicked me out for having fun and yelling stuff out and joining in on the comedy. I don't understand what that place even was. I'm not reviewing that place though. After me and the nerd I accidentally went on a date with got kicked out, we were trying to figure out what to do next. He was actually taking their side for kicking us out, so I was like "whatever". I asked him if he wanted to get some white claws at the 7 eleven to drink while we walked up Melrose to find a bar, but he had to go home to his mommy I guess. I bought a white claw at the 7 eleven any way and chugged it in the parking lot. I saw Heirloom Pizza up the way so I went over there to get a slice to lay a foundation in my gut before I hit the bars. The pizza was so good for real. I had a BBQ chicken slice and a spicy vodka slice and they were both amazeballs. I put some of the spicy oil on the slices too and it was fire no pun intended. I will definitely come back to this place, hopefully next time with a hunk who likes to have fun and not a nerd who gets his diaper dirty when his date vapes inside of a cornball comedy show and gets kicked out.

I really enjoyed the Supreme, we didn't request for anything extra on top and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. While it wasn't world-class and unique, it fell into the level of comfort and familiarity. If you're a huge fan of C*stco pizza and felt a bit heartbroken with the unrequited love for their supreme pizza, this is MUST try. 5/5 would get again! On the second round, we ordered Melrose. This one didn't impress us as much as the impact was weaker. Personally I added additional seasoning to bring more oomph to the pizza flavor, but this is one of those that you can't go wrong with a crowd and great for customizing. We look forward to trying the other flavors.
