To start things off, the food was amazing!! It came out pretty quick, about 15-25 minutes, and was to die for! (Though, I do not have photos of all of the dishes we ordered.) Additionally, most of the food items came with a complimentary side salad, which was pretty good as well. Lastly, the overall design of the restaurant is pretty nice, despite it being a bit narrow on the inside. In all, I would definitely recommend going to Pizza World! read more

We ordered a cheese pizza slice and a tuna melt. The cheese pizza was perfect, hot tasty and gooey 10/10 The tuna melt was pretty good! I wish there was more cheese but overall no complaints. I appreciated they gave me sides to go! The inside of the restaurant was clean and there was a lot of tables/booths The menu was huge with a ton of kids options! The staff was super helpful and kind. They offered me a menu and showed me where everything was. 10/10 service with a smile! read more

Only took about 25 minutes for the diarrhea to hit. Servers are nice, but they couldnt even bother to put utensils and napkins in a bag for pick up order. Cheese tastes cheap and artificial too read more

Darren, the owner of this eatery is friendly and courteous to his customers. His pizza place offers very good nutritious and good quality foods. Decent prices, , conducive and safe environment and a wide variety of assorted food choices. I recommend Pizza World to everyone, read more

Very, very horrible food I had the pizza came out. Cold was not appealing at all. Will never return.

Food was very unappealing. Marinara sauce from Heinz (what a joke) calzone soupy with little cheese lots of Heinz sauce. Fried Ravioli was not ravioli at all. It was like a wannabe cheese stick but not. Some kind of cheese inside. Not something worth eating. Threw everything away and ordered from a ligit pizza restaurant across the street. So much for giving them a try. read more

While they were very friendly here, the pizza was horrible. Very empty and dim restaurant, I feel bad riding a bad review for a local establishment, but the pizza was very much like Fraser pizza. You can buy at any grocery store. Unfortunately, not worth returning. read more

I was in a gay marriage to an Orthodox Jew for 11 years and my husband demanded we keep kosher and we ate here twice a week despite the fact that I found the food here positively repugnant! It looks like road kill and tastes awful and has an indescribable horrible texture too. The place is absolutely filthy fraught with a very serious roach issue. It also is quite rife with a foul and mysterious odor. I generally threw away 90% of what my husband insisted we order. My husband was NEVER criticized for being openly gay which is against the Jewish religion. However, me, a lowly convert, was treated like utter trash. Darren's filthy gossipy mouth always turns me off and I too witnessed the large woman behind the counter drop food on the floor then serve it to customers. Moreover the large woman who is a confirmed non-attorney loves to give out bogus legal advice! I became ill every single time I came here. read more

Where do i start? Every single thing on the menu is absolutely delicious from the mini chimichangas, nachos deluxe, curly fries, and the best if the best the mozarella sticks to die for !!! The service is really great too ! Definitely a 10/10 highly recommend!! read more

I enjoyed my lunch of nachos deluxe and mini-chimichangas for lunch on Wednesday. The nachos serving size was enormous. My one complaint is that there are no spicy (or even moderately spicy) sauces or sides. The "salsa" was just chopped tomatoes. I wish they provided a moderately spiced option. read more

The worst ever , I placed an order at 9:45 got my pizza at 11:40 all cold ! Definitely not recommended

Pizza World is in a great location on Fairfax less than a block south of wilshire across from the CVS and cat corner from the Farmers Market. The place is large with comfortable booths, very clean and nicely layed out. This is an all Kosher restaurant with a large menu selection. I had the Nachos Deluxe(tasted great and very large portion), greek salad(very fresh, nice crunchy lettuce and excellent feta cheese) and tuna salad on pita(excellent soft bread and tasty tuna). The sandwich came with fries which were also great-nice crispy outside, soft inside. The Owner was very friendly, service was prompt and there was a nice, non loud crowd-Israelis and locals. So for Kosher mexican, salad and sandwiches; Pizza World is excellent. Next time I'll try the Pizza. read more

The pizza is good. But the chimmmmmmichangas are soooooo good. The minis are just incredible and a meal by it self. I like the open seating and generous space. read more

I was really excited to try this place as I always see families picking up from here and I think they are family owned which I like to support. The pizza seemed ok, thicker crust than I like but the surprise was how sick I got :/ it was the only thing I ate that day and I threw up for hours after, once it was out of my system I was ok, but really disappointing to have that experience the day before Christmas, almost thought my weekend was ruined. read more

Their pizza improved a lot since the last time we ordered. It's been a couple of years.... The sauce and crust is superb!

I was so upset with my food here. We went there yesterday and I ordered a Soy and Bean Burrito which comes with guac on the side along with rice and beans. The guac came to the table brown with no flavor - the burrito just had beans after I was told it was supposed to have impossible meat? The rice on the side was dry and crunchy so I was basically just eating beans. My husband had chimichangas which were fine but the salsa and guac were gross as well. No one came over to ask how we were after we got our food, probably because they could see the food was bad. Don't recommend ever stepping foot in here. read more

Great pizza, fast delivery. The Mexican pizza was delicious! We had a birthday party and all the guests loved the pizza

I've been looking for a good kosher dairy place in the city for a while now, and I've finally found it. The pizza and appetizers are flavorful and really affordable. Very rude. Was just trying to order dinner and something went wrong on the website order. Called and was put on hold then hung up on. Truly an amazing mom and pops shop. All good is freshly made. My new place for pizza Ingredients are fresh and kosher

Not my favorite kosher pizza spot but they also have Mexican dishes (closest version of kosher Mexican fast food that is dairy based). Food is not bad just unimpressive. Lots of options which makes it great for groups and picky eaters. read more

This is a great place, we showed up less than an hour before closing, and they were already cleaning up, and we had a big party, 11 people, and they didn't give us any shoot, they served us promptly. Now a word about the food, the portions and nicely sized and the prices aren't bad, my bill was about $120 for 11 people (some were small kids) but nevertheless, it is well work the money. We love the mexican food which is outstanding and the pizza is good too. This is an excellent place to eat, we always make sure to eat here when visiting family in Los Angeles. read more

This is a review for Pizza World which doesn't only serve pizza, they have American Pizza, and Mexican and Italian food options! I came today with a group of 14+ people after visiting the Museum of Tolerance (a few blocks away) and we were super hungry. We were so thrilled to see so many food options!!! Just a note, everything here is VEGETARIAN and KOSHER! :D We aren't Vegetarian but was excited to try the food nonetheless. FOOD: Me and my friend ordered 3 items because everything looked/sounded so good on the menu! We ordered the Burrito ($4.5), Spinach and Cheese Calzone ($7~) and Lasagna, which came with a salad ($9~) . The Burrito (Soy Medley, Beans and Rice wrapped in wheat tortilla + side of salsa) was was good but it wasn't LOVE. I felt like it really lacked flavor. I didn't feel it was too special but when I went home and ate the rest of it (to go box) I added some feta cheese and it was divine! My friend got the burrito that also had guacamole and he loved it! Gotta try that! :) The Spinach and Cheese Calzone was my FAVORITE! SO DELICIOUS, they pack on that spinach and cheese! YUMSSS! A MUST TRY!! I would come back just for this Calzone and the ice cream!!! *** The Lasagna was our least favorite and the reason why I knocked a star. It was kind of disappointing since it was a recommendation from the kind cashier and the most expensive thing we ordered. I really wanted to like it but it just had too much cheese! 70% smuttered in cheese and that's gross. We couldn't eat it after the first 2 bites, I was literally digging for the noodles! The salad side was yummy and a generous size. The Italian dressing that came with it was terribly sour-y and looked like orange juice, my tip would be to opt for the thousand island dressing. My friend let me try her quesadilla and it was pretty durn good :) no meat, just cheese on a wheat tortilla but with the sour cream, beans and guacamole, delicious :) THE ICE CREAM IS DIVINE! At $2-3 a pop, you get 2 scoops of HEAVEN in your mouth! I have no idea what brand of ice cream or if it's homemade but it's DELICIOUS!!! So soft and melts in your mouth like fluffy clouds of deliciousness :) Everyone of us left full and happy :) PRICE: Decent, good value. PARKING: The parking lot is tiny and can only fit about 7 cars. Thankfully you can park for free in the street right next to it as it's a nice residential area. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! We were a group of about 14+ people and were greeted by the cashier so warmly! Even though there were so many of us, he was so nice and efficient with our orders. VENUE: It's a simple Ma and Pa restaurant; it's not fancy but it doesn't matter when the food is good and you're with good company! Clean venue and family friendly environment. TIP: If you're looking for authentic Mexican or Italian food, this isn't the place. It's more inspired hybrid but delicious nonetheless! We all left the place full to the max and happy! DEFINITELY A MUST TRY! read more

This place is great! We called ahead to pickup so our pizza would be ready soon after they opened after Shabbat, (around 9:30pm in July) and the service was great! Very well run, and well organized. The pizza - is something else altogether. We ordered 2 large pizzas - one cheese, the other garlic, basil and mushroom - best pizza I've had in a LONG time, Kosher or otherwise. There were many toppings to choose from, and everyone was friendly. Would definitely return if I'm in the area again. read more

This is an interesting fusion restaurant -- conveniently located next to the WGA. It serves pizza and mexican food, but strictly kosher style. This means that if you want any meat on your burrito, pizza, tacos, you will be sorely disappointed! I ordered the vegetarian personal pizza and a diet snapple for less than $10.00 The veggies were nice and cemented within the pizza, and not tact on like most places have a habit of doing. The crust had a grainy texture. I'm puzzled by the fact that they do not carry parmesan. I see no reason why they can't since they do not serve meat! I think the pizza would have been much tastier with it on. read more

My boyfriend and I LOVE pizza, yet we can only eat gluten free dough and vegan cheese. There was a small, outdoor event we were attending and wouldn't you know, pizza would be served. I spoke to the coordinator of the event and she recommended I speak to a Pizza World rep, directly, and try to coordinate a custom order, also to be delivered along with the other pizzas. I emailed Pizza World and 'Darren' replied, right away. I explained the situation to him. Gluten free and vegan cheese? 'No problem.' Darren took care of my custom order. Everything was delivered as expected. The pizzas were amazing! The toppings were just the right amount. There were lots to choose from. We added soy pepperonis, olives, and mushroom toppings. The pizza sauce was also very tasty. If you're a garlic fan like me, the pizza sauce had just the right amount of mouth-watering flavor! For a custom order personal pizza, the prices were very reasonable. Excellent customer service and very reliable! A sincere thank you, once again, for taking care of our custom order. We look forward to ordering from you again, in the future! read more
