Soup and Salad Combo and Sundried Tomato Pasta

One of my favorite spots! Everything on the menu tastes great, but you have to try the fresh corn chowder! It's like a sweet, cozy corn soup and so good. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous too. I used to go to the Westwood location a lot, but the West Hollywood location has outdoor seating and a really cozy vibe. The staff were friendly as well.

Had the grilled steak with glazed carrots and grilled corn sides; enhanced the steak with the citrus aioli. This was my first time eating here but won't be my last. Especially when I don't feel like cooking a full meal.

The cashier was straight up rude and unnecessary. A delivery driver (DoorDash/Uber) was just trying to pick up an order that was already ready, the delivery told him that his car is on hazard, and instead of just handing it over, he was told--rudely--to fall in a long line like he didn't matter. What made it worse? He literally let everyone else go ahead before finally deciding to acknowledge him. Like, what was the point of that? Just a power trip for no reason. I get it, everyone has bad days, but taking it out on someone just doing their job isn't it. Do better."

I've been eating here for years. I used to have a review for FCG on Yelp, but when I got a new phone, all of my reviews disappeared when the data was transferred over. Imagine several years of reviews and check-ins gone in moments. Ugh! Had a late lunch today with a friend for my birthday. We both enjoyed our meal. Fresh, flavorful, warm, and good size portions. I had the Skirt Steak with mashed potatoes and basmati rice. My friend had the enchiladas with a side of basmati rice. We shared a side of bread. The bread was fresh and soft, but it wasn't warm. Our only complaint. I've tried pretty much the entire menu over the years. Never really had a bad experience; except the Chicken Breast can be a bit dry at times. To avoid this ask for a breast that's soaking in the juices, and that will prevent the dryness. Sign up for their free rewards program. The points never expire and they rarely send emails. They sent me a $5 off reward for my birthday, and I had $14 in reward credits. Definitely join. The service is always friendly and gracious. Food comes out pretty quick. Indoor and outdoor dining. They recently renovated the restaurant and it looks great. Beer and wine is available. Check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Customer service was superb. They were very helpful with suggestions and I didn't feel rushed. The food was 10/10. The restaurant is indoor /outdoor seating.

This restaurant is loved by a lot of my colleagues. It is in walking distance from our buildings. It is a little on the slow side, so if you are on a time crunch, you may want to order ahead. The food is very good. My go-to is the sundried tomato pasta with grilled chicken & their raspberry lemonade. My goodness.. So delicious! It's very filling & it's a large portion. The restaurant is a little pricey, but it's worth the $.

Our first time in WeHo (LA, CA) and we stumbled across Fresh Corn Grill and decided to give them a try. The ambiance and location is very casual and spacious. They have plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. The staff were very nice and helpful when we ordered. This place literally has a little bit of everything on the menu. We decided to go with: - Salmon, wild brown rice and grilled asparagus with a citrus dressing on the side. The salmon has a nice flavor and grilled asparagus were pretty good. I chose wild brown rice which was fine nothing special about it but I was expecting the traditional wild brown rice which has a grain mix and colorful. This was just plain basic brown rice. The citrus dressing was my favorite and added more flavor to my dish. - Grilled Skirt Steak, wild brown rice, steamed broccoli with Asian BBQ sauce on the side. This dish was just ok. The steak was a good quality but lacked flavor. The steak flavor was mostly the chard taste from the grill. Thankfully we had some sauce to help flavor it. The steamed broccoli was fresh but zero flavor it was basically out the "bag" steam and served. I didn't even finish it and the wild brown rice as we mentioned above was not wild brown rice. Overall, our first impressions were that it was just ok. I wish the food was more flavorful. Listen it was good but just basic good so, if you're in the area give them a try we still recommend a stop. You may enjoy it more than we did.

Grilled rock fish with mash potato and sautéed mushrooms.

This meal was an absolute treat! The grilled fish was perfectly seasoned and flaky, paired beautifully with the charred lemon for that extra zing. The mashed potatoes were creamy with tasty red potato chunks, and the sautéed mushrooms were super flavorful earthy, herby, and cooked just right. The side sauce tied everything together nicely. The garlic bread? Warm, soft inside, with a crisp edge. A great starter. And the steak pasta? WOW. Generous chunks of juicy, grilled steak on a bed of creamy, veggie-loaded spaghetti--every bite was rich, hearty, and comforting. The cherry tomatoes and greens added a nice freshness to balance the creamy sauce. Total comfort food with a gourmet twist! Highly recommend both dishes quality, portion size, and flavors are on point!

Call me impressed. Ordered a Steak plate for pick up and asked for it to be medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. I added the Spanish rice and yams. The rice was a little dry and hard and I thought it was just ok. The yams were nice and tender with the right amount of sweetness. The steak was pre-sliced and tender. I thought it was seasoned well and very tasty. The cream aioli sauce I got with it was just ok. It was a little bland. But overall, the price wasn't too bad and the food tasted great.

We both had tacos with one side. Wife had white fish tacos, and I had chicken. Amazing healthy spot, so flavorful, Brussels spots as a side were on point. Amazing place would definitely go back if we lived closer.

Grilled Salmon, mashed potatoes, glazed yams, & Cajun sauce. Yum!

My first experience (a Friday night pizza order) wasn't great, so I figured maybe it was just an off night. This time around, we ordered lemon pepper wings, garlic knots, and a half-and-half square pizza: pepperoni on one side and meat lovers on the other. The lemon pepper wings were the standout, really flavorful and easily my favorite part of the order. Not too greasy at all. The pizza was a big improvement too. The crust edges weren't burnt to a crisp and everything tasted fresh and well put together. That said, I wasn't a fan of the sausage on the meat lovers side, so I'd probably skip that next time. One thing I really appreciated was how accurate their pickup timing was. I showed up exactly when the order was supposed to be ready, and it actually was, no waiting around. Overall, they definitely redeemed themselves. I'd come back again and I'm glad I gave them another chance.

They have a limited selection of square and round slices but then a more extensive menu for entire pizzas. I got the acapulco gold and vodka square slice and then also a pepperoni vodka thin slice. The flavor of the vodka square slice was really good. The vodka sauce is rich and creamy and definitely packs a punch. The rest of the slice is covered in herbs and cheese, and they also put some fresh basil leaves on top which is great bc you can smell the basil as you take bites in addition to the great basil flavor. The texture of the thick crust itself wasn't stellar for my vodka square slice the way that it was for the acapulco gold but I think the flavor makes up for it. The acapulco gold is also a good flavor balance between the creamy cheese and arugula on top. The pepperoni vodka slice is very tasty but I feel like the vodka sauce stands out less on this slice versus the square slice. You can see the freshly cracked black pepper on top. I wanna try the other types of pizza they have! The Service: Staff taking our order was very friendly and answered any questions we had. The Food: We ordered the supreme pizza which can feed 4 people (2 slices per person) which I feel like it was pretty accurate unless someone is super hungry. The supreme pizza was amazing - it was filled with so many toppings but not too many where it made the pizza soggy. The pizza is made fresh - we saw the person in the back making our pizza when we ordered it - and it didn't take long either. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy and it held the sauce well. It was very well balanced. Price: $30 ish per pizza; about $5 a slice. I think it's super reasonable for the quality of pizza that you get. I would definitely pay this price for this pizza. The Atmosphere: Counter restaurant with some seating - not recommended if you have a large group since space is limited. Parking: Street parking only. The place is small so if you want to do a walk in be prepared to wait, but the wait is honestly so random. One time I got in 25 minutes later and next time 45 minutes. First time, I got takeout and was honestly disappointed. The pizza got cold during the 12 minute walk back to my apartment and it just didn't hit the same because it wasn't fresh. Second time, we did a walk-in on a Sunday and somehow got really lucky. Waited about 20 minutes at a nearby coffee shop because of cancellations. We got the Margherita special and Ruti's pizza, and both were out of this world. Especially the Margherita special... this is hands down my favorite pizza i've tried in LA. I tend to gravitate toward classic flavors and they did everything right with this one. The crust alone... probably the best Neapolitan dough I've had in my life. It's pillowy, soft, slightly chewy, and just has that perfect structure. Only thing to note is their pizzas are VERY floppy. Like... really floppy. So if that's not your thing, you might not love it as much. Ruti's pizza is a white base with soppressata, fresh arugula, and hot honey. The sweet and spicy combo worked really well, super balanced and not overwhelming. We also got the tricolor salad which was a great starter. Very fresh, bright, and tangy from the lemon dressing. It cuts through the heaviness of the pizza perfectly. Third time, we did another walk-in on a Saturday around 2:30 PM and got seated within 30 minutes. At this point I'm convinced I just have good luck with the wait times!! We ordered the mala lamb sausage, diavola, bianca, and tiramisu. My favorite this time was the bianca. It was lighter and acted as a really nice palate cleanser between the heavier pizzas. You can actually taste the lemon in it, which surprisingly I loved on pizza. Only thing is you have to eat it fast because once it cools down, the cheese solidifies pretty quickly. The mala lamb sausage is definitely a crowd favorite, but not my personal favorite.... It leans heavier and the lamb flavor comes through pretty strong. If you like bold flavors you'll probably love it, but I personally prefer something more classic and clean like the margherita or the bianca. The diavola was solid. The soppressata brought the right amount of spice and everything felt really balanced. And the tiramisu... I will always get this if I have room for dessert. It's a good portion size!! The three of us shared it after already eating three pizzas (and still had 3 slices leftover) and we were completely stuffed. I would come back again for the Margherita special and the tiramisu alone.
