The cutest little diner in WeHo! I came with friends for a late lunch, the portions were huge! Great value for the price and our server was so kind and attentive. He messed up the bill when we split it, but he fixed it right away. Will definitely come back!

We had a really delicious breakfast on this rainy Saturday morning. I would say it's one of the better breakfast options in West Hollywood. It's a true classic diner that has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a large free parking lot behind the restaurant so parking is really easy. Service was a bit slow for us today, but the food items arrived fairly quickly after ordering once we were able to. They have a fairly large menu filled with all the classic diner options. Today I chose the Crab Cake Benedict and was really satisfied with it. The cake had a great crab flavor to them and were really crispy. I added avocado, which I would highly recommend doing with this dish. I wish they would have hashbrowns as an option because the breakfast potatoes aren't nearly as good but that is a personal preference. The portion sizes are fairly large here so you will not leave hungry. I would recommend to anyone searching for a great breakfast or brunch option in West Hollywood. I plan to be back in the future to try more items.

I've been here twice and the food is not memorable. Which isn't a bad thing. I got the free eggs and ham and the ham was a bit chewier than I'm expecting like it tasted really processed. The eggs were decent since it was mixed in with some pesto and the potatoes were done well. If you're nearby I would recommend checking it out but the food isn't to rave home about but it's also not bad. Service is also quick but can be slow if you sit outside where they may not see you outside.

Solid little diner in WeHo. One of the only ones open on a Sunday morning at 8am (surprisingly). Menu has a good range of options with something for everyone, herbivores to carnivores

    French toast. Skip it.

I'm really disappointed in this cafe because it's in my neighborhood and there are very limited options within walking distance. As you can see in the photo, the French toast was completely burnt and inedible, and the eggs scrambled that I got was swimming in oil -- just completely unappetizing, the whole thing. I didn't go back to return it because I have a baby and he had just fallen asleep when I got home, so I didn't want to disturb him. I had to throw the whole thing away. Wish I had a better experience. Not sure if this was a one-off or just how they are, but it's never busy so that's not a good sign.

The place was really nice, decent food, nice decor. The service was very kind, defensively worth a stop.

Joey's Cafe is a gem! Went here unexpectedly after our initial reservation elsewhere got cancelled. There is seating indoors and outdoors, and it was fairly busy for a Saturday afternoon. The service was good, as the servers were attentive, but also gave us some time to browse the menu at our leisure. The ambiance was busy and diner-like, with some tables and some booths. Food was good! The iced matcha latte and chai latte were yummy, and we got to take them to-go too, which was nice, because they were actually bigger than expected (which is a nice surprise). Joey's Breakfast was a good portion, and I loved the whipped butter on the side. I also appreciated having the fruit addition and the options for the side of meat and bread. Overall, this was an unexpected meal, but so happy that we got to try it and we will definitely come back!

I love this place! They have Indoor and outdoor seating for everyone to enjoy. It's hands down my favorite spot to go meet friends for lunch or breakfast. It's a shame that their hours are so limited now. Highly recommend the steak chesadilla! It's so good and always hits the spot. It's a must visit if you are in West Hollywood.

Met up on Saturday afternoon with my friends from the desert at their suggestion. I had not been to West Hollywood in ages and reveled in all the changes. Joeys is on a corner of Santa Monica Blvd next to a "Crossroads" store. They had several tables available outside and inside. You can also sit on a swiveling barstool at the counter if that suits your fancy! It wasn't too busy at 2:30pm so we were able to grab a nice big table outside. The service was good. *Plenty of free refills on our lemonade, ice tea and my Arnold Palmer!!! Great view to watch everyone pass by. (Which I love to do). The salmon salad and protein salad were good. Big servings here at reasonable prices. They are known for their breakfast and lunch. Conveniently located across from another one of my fav places! Hamburger Mary's!!! Best drag bingo in town. *plenty of meter parking *limited parking on side streets. READ THE SIGNS CAREFULLY to avoid a ticket. *there is a parking lot behind Joeys if you can grab a space. They share it with Crossroads.

On the plus side, there was no wait at all on a Saturday at prime brunch time! Then I guess I could see why. I stopped in at Joey's because a friend was eating there so I just joined for a coffee and a pastry. I asked for a dirty chai with soy milk, which came out to $7.95. It was huge and gross. I also got a croissant to go with it, which looked and tasted like a 3 day old Costco croissant. Oddly, it was cut in half and toasted so it was dry and tasteless. Everything about this place is below par and expensive. To top it all off, we got the bill and after taking a look to split our tab, realized that the subtotal was $2 off the itemized cost and did not match what we were charged.

Joey's is my favorite little neighborhood diner. It's a perfect place for that All American breakfast that feels like it's made with love. T They have fantastic smoothies with all kinds of fruit flavors and in combinations of fruit flavors. I just love it. Having a salad there @ midday is also quite good. Their salads are both hearty and tasty for sure. From the outside you'd never know that there's so much delicious goodness to be found inside, because it really is a rather unassuming place, but as I said, as far as a neighborhood diner, it's my favorite neighborhood. P.S. To be clear, remember that the "neighborhood" that I'm referring to is West Hollywood and so know that the bar is high.

A place I'm going to return to try the omelette and pancakes . They look so delicious when I saw it pass by and I want to give it a try when I'm there next time. However today I've tried the chicken Finger followed by a California Burger and Turkey Club . It was massively big but for the price I can see why now but it was delicious the French fries were fresh! You have the option to sit inside or out . Perfect since summer is here ! There was no waiting since I went early In the day and the service was amazing they were fast, is like they read the room if anyone wants something. Lots of regulars come here by the looks of it ! I'm looking forward to trying it again!

    Joey's Cobb salad, al fresco.

I visited this spot on the very last day of outdoor dining before the new pandemic restrictions kicked in. They make a fantastic "Joey's Cobb Salad" that I used to order all the time. I'm happy to say it's just as good as ever. Especially if you like bacon! Normally, with an outside table you get a great view of Santa Monica Blvd. and all the happenings and things going around there. The take out is also easy and convenient. I always seem to be able to find parking on the street but there's a free indoor city lot nearby on Flores.

5/5 - Flavor-packed, thoughtful plating, and absolutely worth the visit…read more This spot delivers on both flavor and presentation. I ordered a loaded carne asada-style dish served over fresh greens, and every bite was intentional and well-balanced. The beef was deeply seasoned, tender, and slightly crisped in places, which added great texture. It was topped with a creamy, slightly tangy sauce that tied everything together without overpowering the meat. What really stood out was the attention to detail: pickled red onions for acidity, fresh greens for balance, and a side of house-made pickled vegetables that cut through the richness perfectly. The tostada-style side topped with avocado, herbs, and onions added a nice contrast--crunchy, fresh, and vibrant. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Portion size was generous without feeling excessive, and the dish felt hearty yet clean. I paired it with a refreshing citrus drink that complemented the meal well and kept everything light. Overall, this is the kind of place where you can tell the kitchen cares about execution. Bold flavors, great balance, and a presentation that looks just as good as it tastes. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying, well-crafted meal

She handed us menus and told us to order at the counter when we were ready and they serve breakfast all day. The menu can feel a little intimidating. It has Mexican, Guatemalan and Salvadoran which I am not all that familiar with. We landed on a couple of pupusas and a couple of fish tacos. There are signs letting you know the food is cooked to order and to expect a 20-25 minute wait, so at least they set expectations up front. The dining room was small but warm and colorful and there were additional tables set up just outside the front door. We had no problem finding a table inside. When the food came out, the portions were generous and the presentation was better than you'd expect from a humble neighborhood grill. The pupusas were crisp on the outside with plenty of filling, and the fish tacos were fresh and well-seasoned -- nothing greasy, nothing bland. Friendly service, solid food, and a spot I'd definitely come back to now that I know what to order.

The food was just as memorable. The chicken Parmesan was everything you want it to be: crispy, flavorful, and topped with a rich, perfectly balanced marinara and plenty of melted cheese. The Rigatoni Vodka (we added a meatball) was equally impressive. The vodka sauce was creamy without being overly heavy, and the meatball was tender, well seasoned, and packed with flavor. One thing to know before you go: parking can be a nightmare. There is valet in front, or you can opt for parking in the surrounding neighborhood. You're better off grabbing a rideshare if you can. It makes the experience much easier, especially if you plan on enjoying a few drinks. Between the beautiful ambiance, generous portions, and delicious food, this is an easy recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

We originally…read morewanted to try another restaurant, but it was completely booked, so we looked for somewhere new to explore. Met Him At A Bar seemed like a good option, and one of my girlfriends made a reservation for four. Our reservation was at 7:00 PM. I street-parked and walked to the restaurant, where one of my friends was waiting outside. I asked why she wasn't sitting at our table, and she told me that our table was right by the entrance. She didn't like that spot and thought the tables farther inside looked much more comfortable and cozy. Since people were sitting at one of those tables, she wanted to wait until they left. Personally, I thought the table by the entrance was perfectly fine, but I was also STARVING! Another friend arrived and also disliked the table, so we decided to wait. After a while, I was getting way too hungry, so we sat at the bar and ordered an appetizer and drinks while waiting. I first ordered the Garlic Shrimp and asked if it was spicy. I was told it was, so I asked if they could make it without the spice because I can't eat spicy food. He said he would check with the kitchen, but since I was starving and it sounded like it might take too long, I changed my order to Garlic Bread. One of my girlfriends ordered a glass of wine, and since she had made the reservation and gone through the trouble of arranging everything, I treated her to the wine and garlic bread. Then, of course, our friend who is ALWAYS late arrived about 30 minutes late! By then, the rest of us had already decided what to order from the Dine LA menu. We wanted to try as many dishes as possible, so we ordered different items and shared everything. When our late friend arrived, we ordered his dishes separately. For the first course, we had Caesar Salad, Bruschetta, and Meatballs. For the second course, we ordered Rigatoni Vodka, Cacio e Pepe, and Margherita Pizza. For dessert, everyone ordered Tiramisu. Overall, I thought the food was good. My favorites were the Bruschetta, Meatballs, Rigatoni Vodka, and Tiramisu. The Cacio e Pepe was not my favorite because I thought they used way too much black pepper, and my other friends agreed. Our group had mixed reactions overall. Except for one person, the other two felt the food didn't quite live up to their expectations and were somewhat disappointed. But everyone's taste is different, so I completely understand. Considering how expensive everything has become these days, I thought the Dine LA price was pretty reasonable. It was $45 per person, and with tax and tip, it came to $60 each. For that price, I thought the amount of food and the overall experience were pretty good. I also really appreciated how friendly and attentive all the staff members were. I usually don't drink alcohol, and especially when I'm driving, I NEVER drink--not even a sip. That has been my personal rule for decades. So I just ordered water, and I loved how the staff kept coming by and refilling my glass whenever it got low. I drink a LOT of water, so I really appreciated their attentiveness. Now, about parking: valet parking is $17. I decided to street-park instead. One of my friends also street-parked, but unfortunately she got a parking ticket and was VERY upset. I had originally found a spot where a sign said a parking permit was required, so I decided not to take the risk and moved my car. Before leaving, I asked a man walking his dog if it was okay to park there. He said he had seen many cars parked there and they had been fine, but I still didn't trust it because the sign clearly said permits were required. I told him, "I don't think that's allowed." He was very nice and suggested going about three blocks farther, where there was plenty of street parking without a permit. I followed his advice and parked there. Unfortunately, my friend who stayed in the permit-only spot ended up getting a ticket. Another friend parked in the parking structure across the street and said it cost $18. Since I had parked farther away and didn't want to walk alone at night, I asked him to drop me off at my car after dinner, and he kindly did. So my parking recommendation is to use the $17 valet or street-park about three blocks away where no permit is required. I definitely would NOT recommend parking in the permit-only spaces unless you want to risk getting a ticket. One of the funniest things about this neighborhood is the restaurant names. The restaurant we went to is called "Met Him At A Bar," and literally right across the street is "Met Her At A Bar." There's also another restaurant called "The Night We Met." I have to say, the names are pretty creative and definitely make this neighborhood more fun! Overall, we had a fun evening together, and for $60 per person including tax and tip, I thought it was a pretty decent Dine LA experience.

My fiancé and I tried the Huevos Rancheros plate, Peaches and Cream Waffle, and the Thai Style Fried Chicken plate. Along with their two drinks; Sunset Refresher & Blueberry Vanilla Cold Foam Matcha. Huevos Rancheros were a hit. To be honest I thought the dish to be a small serving at first. But it's actually a good portion. You get three tostadas stacked and layered with black beans and mozzarella and topped off with over easy eggs and salsa. I loved how the corn tortillas maintained their crunch and never got soggy. The habanero salsa that it came had a good KICK. Peaches and Cream waffle was good as well. It is seasonal so we jumped on the opportunity. Waffle was thick and fluffy that came with powdered sugar and cinnamon. The peaches were also thick and the sauce it came was light and sweet. Can never go wrong with ice cream and waffles. The Thai Style chicken was pleasant surprise. Before we ate the chicken, I tried a piece of the breading and I knew it was gonna be a good one. Lots of flavor from the tom yum seasoning and the chicken was a decent size. It's not spicy and comes with a sweet sauce to dip in. The bell peppers balanced out this dish. I was a fan of the sunset refresher. It's a mix of hibiscus, pineapple and lemonade. It's more tart than sweet but refreshing. The blueberry cold foam iced matcha was solid. Not too sweet and properly balance. Overall a good brunch spot with a large menu guaranteed to have you come back to try other things. A little pricey.

I ordered the mushroom pizza, and it did not disappoint. I also tried the house radicchio salad, but it wasn't my favorite. One thing to note: I requested tap water when placing our order but later noticed I had been charged for their bottled still water. After bringing it to their attention, they promptly removed the charge. Be sure to double-check your receipt. I'm happy with how quickly they fixed the mistake tho! Unfortunately, they don't offer mocktails, so I ordered an Arnold Palmer instead. It was a bit bland and lacked balance.
