    Gaucho's Steak Sandwich

What a pleasant surprise discovering this neighborhood gem! I ordered the steak sandwich and Dubai latte, and both were delicious. Friendly staff, quick service, and such a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

This place is a local hidden gem and the ambience is warm, bright as it's lined with windows, and has both an earthy and "homey" feel. The service is really kind -- I've had really great interactions with Roberto on multiple occasions. I've only tried the drinks here so far -- the coffee is really good. I had a hot Americano where I sat and did work for a while and watched outside the window. It was a really nice experience. Today I tried the iced Matcha with almond milk and I also got an iced latte with date syrup (first time trying that, & it added the perfect amount of sweetness!) the iced Matcha latte was already balanced and sweet enough for me without any additional sweetener -- I think because the almond milk probably already has sweetener in it. I'm not a huge fan of overly sweet drinks so these were perfect for me. They have a nice selection of pastries, and I have also tried their fresh made green juice, which is really great! I will come back to try the food one day. I really enjoy the patio here, there's even a fireplace outside which is cozy and I appreciate how the staff never makes you feel rushed to leave. Plus the Wi-Fi connection is good so you can bring your work here.

    Ricotta pistachio cake. DELICIOUS!!

Amazing food! I had the open-face tuna sandwich and fries. The liked the tuna because not didn't have a lot of mayonnaise. However the best part was the ricotta pistachio cake! Insanely delicious. The cake was super moist with a creamy, not too rich flavor.

Great brunch! Had the Cali Omelette and a latte and both were spot on. Would be 4.5 but no way to enter that.

First time here and they have plenty of breakfast options to choose from, including savory and sweet crepes, breakfast sandwich and burrito, omeletes, oatmeal, and much more. Their breakfast potatoes were crispy and well seasoned. On the other hand, their parmesan pesto fries were meh. I would have given them one more star if their service was better. The girl who worked at the register was a bit rude and impatient. Other yelp reviewers had made similar comments. Also, the guy who worked in the bar was rude too. I expected some acknowledgement when a patron thanked you for taking their plates away - instead he just walked away. This place seems to hire folks who are way "too cool". LoL

Located very close to our favorite Airbnb, we stopped in to try breakfast here one morning and fell in love. We've been three times this week and had something different each time. A great breakfast brunch spot with lots of seating inside and out. It's self-seating and everyday we went it was busy. Service is nice and efficient. Food is delicious. Over the course of the week, We had: Breakfast sandwich with a chipotle aioli Peanut Butter smoothie Orange Vanilla smoothie Alka-Seltzer juice Farmers breakfast with eggs, meat and toast Coffee Vegan lemon-poppyseed bread Chicken pesto panini Three cheese burger Greek wrap Oatmeal breakfast cereal with fruit We had all the sides, fries, home-fried potatoes and salad. All were fresh and tasty. Everything was so fresh and delicious. We loved it all and highly Recommend this place for all of your brunch needs. I did notice lots of mimosas, smoothies and drinks. Prices seem reasonable for what you get and the food comes quickly.

I had such a great experience at this restaurant! The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented--you can really tell they put effort into every dish. The strawberry matcha I ordered was honestly one of the best I've had, so refreshing and perfectly balanced. On top of that, the service was amazing. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I'd come back to and recommend!

Dreadlock guy locked my car in lot and refused to let me in to get my car! Worst spot in LA I have ever been to super rude this guy doesn't deserve a job! Left me stranded without a car and the sign they have is hidden that says they tow behind a tree don't support this business and make sure you don't park there

Absolutely phenomenal! Amazing service, delicious food, and great atmosphere. I got the strawberry matcha and eggs Benedict -- both were 10/10!

Lovely place! Food was delicious. Feels very cozy and I imagine it's even nicer during summer time (they have two outside patios). Service is fast!

I like this place but it's chronically understaffed so don't come here if you need to get a coffee order in a reasonable amount of time.

They offer unique drinks like beet milk taro and unique food options. This location is their newest location to date. However, I found the quality of drinks and food from this location seemed lacking. They also have far more food options at the original location. Perhaps, it is because they are in their soft opening stages? I cannot comment on the service as I got it DoorDashed. 1. Honey Oat Blended Espresso (3/5) Love the concept of this drink, which combines oat milk, honey and 2 shots of espresso into a blended drink. However, it was way too sweet to be enjoyable. 2. Jin Xuan Oolong Milk Tea (3.5/5) This drink uses Bopomofo's own Jin Xuan oolong tea blend, which is listed to have a delicate floral aroma and a distinct, naturally milky flavor. I definitely tasted the strong tea flavor, but did not taste the floral aroma nor the milky flavor. It seemed watery and over-brewed as it had the bitterness of tea to it. The fresh taro topping was very good; truly fresh taro chunks with the right amount of sweetness to it, not the fake powdery stuff. 3. Egg Salad Bolo Foldover (3.5/5) Think Japanese egg sando, but instead of in a sandwich, the egg salad is served in Bolo bun (aka, pineapple - it's not actually pineapple flavored, just shaped like a pineapple). The egg salad is mixed with their house-made honey mustard mayo and topped off with chives and tomato relish. Sadly, the bolo (pineapple) bun was dry, but at least the egg salad filling part was good. Overall, it's a nice small snack/treat to try, but it's nothing super mind-blowing. 4. Ba-la Matcha (3.5/5) Matcha mixed with guava nectar and layered with lactose free milk. The guava nectar has a nice tropical flavor and was surprisingly not too sweet. The matcha part was so-so. It's definitely not high-quality matcha. I wish the ratio of matcha to milk was more balanced. It felt watered down.

It's almost like a mini pizza but with delicious crisper crust that isn't overbaked. 4/5 Fried Cod Laffa had a magical mix of flavor. Personally I love the contrast between the texture of the cod and the variety of fresh vegetables. The sauce complimented and brought all the ingredients together. The soft yet firm Laffa held this hefty meal. Had to eat half for lunch and half for another time. It fills you up! I would get this again when I'm here. The interior has this gorgeous overhead natural light with some hanging plants that almost like introducing a bit of natural nature indoors. Seating - some barstool like seating and around 4 double seaters. If you have a big party of people - it's better to get it as takeout! Restroom? Yes; but didn't use. Parking? Yes; street parking

The menu is not complicated or very large, and has a specialty item like a stuffed bread with different options named after possibly the founder of the restaurant. Khachapuri is the item, but we did not get it this time. We got a Chicken Ceaser Laffa wrap as well as a Chicken Parm and Bolognese sandwich. They did not take very long to get prepared and brought to our table. These are very good size sandwiches, you can easily eat it as two meals. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and helped us make our decision on what to order. It is a very bright place. Has odd artwork, not really a style or anything. A picture of a cow, a watercolor landscape. A fish chart. Something else that I forget.... Just odd, does not really work together, but oh well. Maybe these are from employees or were donated or something. But on to the sandwiches.... They were really good. I think I liked the Ceaser better than the chicken parm and Bolognese sandwich. But it was a hot day and the Ceaser was a bit more refreshing. The bread and wrap were good. Lots of sauce and dressing. Lots of stuff stuffed into the sandwiches. Good stuff. Parking can be tricky. I would like to try out some of the other menu items one of these days.

This location on Wilshire Blvd in Koreatown is the smallest of the three I've visited, with under 10 seats available. It's a compact shop, and most customers opt for takeout. It's a narrow shop, and most customers take their orders to-go. I've previously enjoyed the La Paradiso and La Toscana, with the La Paradiso being my personal favorite. For our first visit with our son, we asked the staff for recommendations, and they suggested either the Venice Beach (Turkey) or the New Yorker (Roast Beef). The staff was incredibly generous, offering a roast beef sample, which our son loved! We also appreciated them providing ice and straws for our water. We ordered the New Yorker ($19.00) with roast beef, porcini cream, tomato, and arugula. The sandwich was thoughtfully cut in half, perfect for sharing. The schiacciata bread boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which beautifully complements the meats and cheeses. We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again. A big thank you to the female staff member who expertly cut the meat and offered samples, assisting us in making the perfect choice for my son's sandwich. This experience was truly a positive one for our family. I would definitely return to AAV for the excellent food and service.
