For almost two years, I ghosted this place like a bad Tinder date--but wow, the kimchi fried rice is still stealing the show. Tried an iced Irish, which was a tad sweet for my grumpy palate, but hey, the balance wasn't mad at me. People are still friendly and the vibe is so chill it should pay rent. read more

Hmmmm...this place is...confusing. we would not come back here. This space is really bright, spacious, inviting. Bigger two tops than normal and everything feels very light and breezy. Service was attentive and kind. Parking is street only, but was quite easy at 1pm on a Friday. I wanted to like this place. The food, however, was a pretty serious disappointment, especially considering the price. I know that everything is expensive these days, but I've honestly had better tasting, more flavorful food, and cooked with more care at cheap diners than we did here. I'm not sure if we just came on an off day or time (Friday, 1pm). Waffles were clearly made earlier and then reheated. The server assured us that they have a waffle iron, and I believe them, but these were not fresh waffles. They were previously made, perhaps even that morning, and then re-toasted, resulting in a stale chewy texture that was just unpleasant. The fried chicken was just okay. The side of sausage was crazy over cooked and dry. They brought delightful room temperature whipped butter for the waffle, which was a real treat! They did have real maple syrup, which is a huge plus, but even that couldn't save this sad waffle situation. The Italian eggs toast was alright. Presentation was pretty. The eggs, advertised as "soft scrambled" were just regular scrambled. Decent enough but nothing approaching "soft". The truffle oil and the mozzarella were nice! The bread had a crust so hard I had trouble cutting through it, so I didn't have any. I ordered a side of the breakfast potatoes, but those also seemed previously made (tough and not at all hot) and reheated and weren't seasoned very well. I forgot we even had coconut fried shrimp until I was loading in pics for the review. It did not, in any semblance of a way, taste like coconut. Just regular old plain butterflied fried shrimp without any real flavor. The sauce was the star of the show. Orange juice was solid. Service was friendly, attentive and very kind regarding our issues. They offered to remove the waffle dish from our bill, but unfortunately the manager was on break and we were in a hurry to get to our next appointment, so we paid and left. read more

Attitude Cafe is a true hidden gem and easily a go-to for breakfast and brunch. This was my second visit, and it delivered once again. The Salmon Arugula entrée was fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared--simple yet elevated. The ambience is spacious with smooth outdoor seating that makes the experience even better. Service is efficient, the space is clean, and you're greeted warmly from the moment you arrive. Consistent quality, great vibes, and worth coming back for every time. read more

Attitude is an absolute fave and hidden gem. However today was not great. I usually enjoy staff and the experience. This was a new staff member, so maybe she was having a bad day. Weekdays it closes at 6. Please be prepared to leave at that time sharp. lol Service was rude from beginning to the apology of having to get to her next job. I empathized with understanding it's LA. Inexcusable though. Customers should never feel stressed and under appreciated. I'll go again because Attitude is a neighborhood fave. I just wish I had a heads up of who is working. Happy hour is great for the value! Def worth checking out! I would also recommend weekend brunch. Ambience is chill and gorgeous in an effortless way. read more

We got the bananas foster french toast and the breakfast burrito. The bananas foster was one of the most delicious things I've had in a really long time, it was even served with a side of vanilla ice cream! We sat inside and it was nice, but they have outside seating that looks really cute too. All the servers were friendly, and the food came out fairly quickly. Attitude is amazing! Especially Meghan. She is the absolute best server in the world! The food and atmosphere are so underrated.

The owner seems nice so I won't disclose what happened here, but unfortunately I would advise people to go elsewhere.

I placed an order last week for pickup, and I was treated quite rudely at the café. When I first walked in, they assumed I was a delivery driver and told me to wait outside, ridiculous :) Because of that, I gave them one star on Uber. But when I ordered again for the second time, my food came with such a ridiculous note. I honestly don't care where you're from, you rude guy! read more

Terrible service unless the attitude is a theme here. Just seemed like plain ol' attitude (not "fun"). After verifying a detail about the food before ordering it and it turned out not as promised, the server asked how everything was. My daughter said, "I just thought..." and the server cut her off and said,"You just thought what??" We aren't/weren't difficult customers so this came out of nowhere. My daughter is a server and we are respectful of servers in restaurants. Nothing exciting about the lunch really but that was unpleasant. I hate to trash a business, so three stars. The person in charge seemed pleasant so hopefully they get better staff. read more

I need to come back for food! I work so so close and this place is a gem! It was super clean, the waiter was really nice even when I was rushing to go to work! The iced latte was really good! Gem. I've come here now, 3 times. I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of the food... yet. The Parmesan fries are great! The salmon tacos are far too messy, and weren't fried all the way. The Brussels sprouts were charred more than I'd prefer. BUT, my rating is solely based on the atmosphere, prices, and the service. I actually have this saved as a go-to place now, when I just want to get out for a few glasses of champagne. I'm solo, so it's perfect. Hopefully, I can get fruit in each glass (like last week) all the time lol. The staff is attentive, the music is great for the vibe, super cute and not busy. I had been waiting to review, just to make sure this is "my spot." Well, today it was solidified when the owner remembered me from last week. Even remembered what I ordered and where I sat. HUGE, for someone like me. I'm still new to LA, so feels good to find a spot. Recommend to everyone! All in all, still my favorite place to go on a Sunday solo. read more

Extremely stuffy inside -- it literally felt like there was nothing to breathe. We waited 35 minutes for our food and eventually had to ask for everything to be packed to go. The place was about 80% empty, so it wasn't even busy, but the wait time was just ridiculous. Overall, a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience. read more

I had a marvelous Italian dinner the night before. So, I wanted to start the next day with a good breakfast. Lucky for me, I was told about the Attitude Cafe. The funky, cool, not over-the-top, atmosphere was more than welcoming. We walked in, and commented on the swimming pool behind the back of the place; and was jokingly told that a 2-Margarita minimum would be enough to let us jump in! I'm so amiss in forgetting the owner's name; but he was one of the most friendly, accommodating restauranteurs I've met in a long while. I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict. DAMN, IT WAS GOOD!!!! My partner had the vegetarian (or is it Vegan...Christ, I don't know!) Mediterranean dish, and reveled about it all day! We were taken care of like family. Coffee poured, friendly check-ins were given, and the food was outstanding. I could go on about the cool atmosphere, but I want you to check it out yourself. Why are you still reading this? Plan on eating there tomorrow! (No, I don't work for them, or get any kickbacks for a good review. The place is just great!). read more

Got an omelet. That dish came with absolutely nothing on the side. No greens, no cheese, no avocado, no potatoes, no fruits. Nothing. The omelet was full with oil. Had a cappuccino and they had no skimmed milk or no fat (why?) So I opted for an Americano. The cup came half filled. Not enough options for those who are trying to stay in shape. Looked promising on the pictures. read more

We were visiting for a weekend of fun and Squid Games and were looking for a breakfast spot close to the Squid Games studio, and saw this place had good reviews. I was especially excited to try the smoked salmon benedict (which I ordered) because it really looked good in the photos. We were seated immediately upon entering the premises. The place wasn't busy yet when we arrived, but more customers started to trickle in. Service in the beginning was good, but as the place got busier, it was non-existent. The lady who checked us out (probably the manager or owner) told us that they were short 3 people that morning, so okay. The food was really good, which is the only reason this place gets 4-stars for me. Like I said, I had the smoked salmon benedict which was excellent. I didn't like how you have to pay $3 more to get sides, and when I asked for fruit, they didn't have it. I overheard a server also telling another table that they didn't have the ingredients to make a mocha latte. Hmm. The wife got the bananas foster french toast, which was divine. I actually ate my whole plate of salmon benedict plus a whole slice of her french toast. It was THAT good. Maybe on a fully staffed and fully stocked day, I'd give this place 5 stars. read more

TLDR: poor service, food was not terrible, mimosa was watered down, area was spacious and ambience was decent - despite two star rating, I'd eat here for convenience though I'm sure there's better options - all omelettes are create your own, no presets, was dry but sweet potato fries were very good - Birria hash was too salty, tasted decent otherwise - mimosa was watered down, would never order again read more

second time visiting Attitude Cafe, after a 5 star experience the service and ambiance have only gotten better!! we tried the pancakes with fruit and a toast this time, all of the dishes look beautiful when they come out of the kitchen and taste so fresh and delicious. the cafe lattes are outstanding. even if you don't have time to dine, it's worth stopping by for a homemade-tasting latte, instead of going to a mid and overpriced chain coffee shop. don't miss out on this hidden gem!! read more

Parking- super easy, street parking and you can also park in the lot of the Thai restaurant next door. Ambiance was very pretty. Artistic vibes and I love sitting outside near the pool. There is a lodge hotel next door and you can jump on their wifi. They have inside seating and also a barista station. I got the breakfast sandwich ($16.95) and I loved it, it was huge, crispy and came with a side of potatoes. Very filling. My friend ordered the chilaquiles and that was so yummy! Maybe the chips could have been a tad bit crispier but I still loved it. The flavor was there and I'd go back for it. The plates are huge, great pricing too. Unfortunately someone next to us ordered the last cheesecake so I ordered hot chocolate. Came with whip cream and bits of chocolate which I loved. So tasty and not so hot! It was so cool outside and everything is shaded which I love. Server was amazing and the owner even came out and checked on us! read more

We came in for brunch and dined poolside. The California Benedict was healthy, light and filling. It wasn't heavy and overall it was a delicious dish.
