Myself and my husband along with 4 of our friends decided to try Vicky's before a play we were attending. At first, I was a little worried as it's not a large place, and looks more like a neighborhood spot, but I was pleasantly surprised when our food arrived. The service was great, as well as the timing of the food and drinks arriving after we ordered. The food was great, and they gave you nice portions that can be shared. Everything we ordered was tasty, as well as my friends were raving about the dishes they ordered. I will definitely recommend, and myself and my husband will be back for sure. The fries were hot and perfectly crispy. The sandwich itself was wonderful, packed with turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. My only tiny critique is that I wish it came with mayo (I'm a huge mayo fan!). However, I ordered a side of ranch which paired perfectly and really elevated the sandwich. The vibe here is incredibly laid-back, welcoming, and brightly lit. Everything--including the restrooms--was sparkling clean. I'm glad they moved to the Wilshire location because parking ($2 flat) is much easier now and the inside is a lot more spacious. They only use one type of noodle, and you can choose tomato, meat, or mushroom sauce. The noodles and sauce are perfect for my taste, and their salad dressing is really good too. Garlic bread comes with the meal, and extra pieces are only 75 cents each. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size. They've kept their prices very reasonable over the years, which I really appreciate, and I think that's one reason they have so many longtime regular customers. The best part is the taste has never changed. It tastes exactly the same as I remember from 25 years ago. I've tried plenty of other spaghetti places over the years, but I still keep coming back here. I also still see a lot of staff who have been working here for many years, and they are always very kind.
