    Messy fries
    Deni B.

Fun new kosher spot! The place was bustling on a Thursday evening of course, but we ordered pretty much right away and the food came out within 5 minutes or so. The staff was welcoming and actively cleaning constantly. As will many restaurants like these, the meat is very expensive. The burgers are about $20 and don't come with any sides. I went for the messy fries (fries topped with ground beef, dairy free cheese, corridor sauce, and caramelized onions) for $14. Definitely the best deal on the menu! It was a huge basket of fries vs the side order which is a smaller basket. And generously topped. The fries were crispy and fresh, and the beef was crumbled and a little charred which was a great texture. I dipped some fries in my fiancés ranch and it was definitely homemade and dill-y. I tasted his burger and it was satisfying enough, but I preferred my mess :) The sausages looked pretty good, and might be worth trying next time we have kosher guests to feed.

The burger was tasty. Service is awesome. The restaurant was cool and simple. The price points were on the high end but its "par for the course" . Street parking only...

Wow. Delicious and unique gourmet burgers with all the fixings. Cooked to perfection. Full of flavor. Such a cool vibe and ambiance. Staff are friendly. Kosher is an added perk!

Out of all the kosher burger places in pico this is hands down my favorite spot. The burgers here are amazing, juicy, and full of flavor. I also love there tenders as you can tell its hand breaded. There chicken sandwich is more than amazing as well. What also hit the spot is there parve ice cream, especially the Dubai style. Ari the young lady in the front is so welcoming, helpfull, and super kind hearted. 10 out of 10.

Two burgers, one chicken sandwich and one seat sandwich!

The presentation and food were amazing! They put they name on the top of the buns, which is very impressive, and to tasted amazing! High recommend!

Amazing food and really good service, The best burger in the West Coast .! The hotdogs and the chicken tenders one of the best I ate

Chicken sandwich made out of crumbs, barely any chicken

The food was good when they first opened a few months ago, but the quality of the food is getting worse and worse. I got a $20.50 chicken sandwich today and there's barely chicken inside, the whole sandwich was made out of crumbs that I couldn't swallow it, same as their potato fries, more crumbs than the potatoes. I tried to contact the restaurant through the phone, but it always go straight to the voicemail. Their food is overpriced, bad quality and no customer service. It's such a shame to take an advantage of us because there are limited kosher restaurants out here. I wouldn't buy from them again.

Great food. Would recommend eating here. It has a retro vibe. The food was great. We really enjoyed the chicken tenders. The burgers are also great. Fairly priced. Enjoy!!!

We had the braised short rib, yellowfin tuna ceviche, whipped ricotta, mussel toast, grilled octopus, bavette steak, rainbow trout, and lamb sirloin. The churros came out warm, and we also tried the ice cream sandwich and panna cotta, which we all enjoyed. The ambience is really unique, laid back with a soft, cozy feel. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to, especially to try the famous esme drink and brunch.

Came…read morehere with one of my dearest friend who came down from NorCal to visit during one of the most challenging times of my life. The combination of friendship and delicious dishes delivered by Almost famous was soul-warming. Metered street parking only unfortunately, but service at the restaurant was excellent. Staff were friendly, courteous, patient, and were happy to go through the menu and make recommendations. You can tell they take pride in their dishes offered. They will check-in enough to ensure everything with the dining experience is going well, but not too frequently to impede on privacy. They have a breakfast/lunch (brunch) menu that they serve from 8am up until 2pm and a dinner menu that is available from 11am to 2pm & 5pm to 9:30pm. 1. Ginger & Cardamom Chai Latte (5/5) House-made chai with ginger and cardamom. If you like herbal spices, this drink was comforting and warming. It's not sweet, which I like and it paired well with the food dishes. 2. Crab Bhuna (4.75/5) Crab meat simmered in fragrant spices then topped with ginger, fennel seed, and curry leaves. It is served with soft, subtly sweet banana buns The crab meat was fresh and honestly, you couldn't even tell it's crab. It's seasoned perfectly with the aromatic Indian spices. The banana buns were interesting ... it was a bit on the dry side, but if you stuffed the airy pockets of the bun with the crab meat, it's not too bad. The banana bun had an interesting flavor profile; a mix of sweet-bitterness to it. 3. Sweet Potato Chaat (5/5) One of my favorite dishes here. It is sweet potato chunks mixed with a sauce blend of sweet corn, yogurt, tamarind, mint chutney and pomegranate. The sauce was light, refreshing, and tangy, balancing the natural sweetness of the sweet potato perfectly. 4. Brunch Dosa Rice & Lentil Crepe (4.75/5) Basically think of a crepe, but a super large size one. I just love their crepe - it was crispy yet doughy with a cheesy flavor. The crepe was stuffed with turmeric mashed potatoes. I typically do not like mash potatoes, but when it's served this way, I approve. The dish comes with a side of 3 sauces - sambar (lentil-based vegetable curry that's often seasoned with coriander seeds, cumin, fenugreek, dry red chilies), curry, coconut and tomato chutney. A perfect dish for sharing and for trying out the various flavors of Indian cuisine. 5. Wagyu Beef Keema Kulcha (4.5/5) Minced Wagyu beef that's seasoned well with aromatic spices and onion inside an Indian leavened flat bread. Highly recommend and will be back to try out other dishes!

During a…read morelazy afternoon after visiting the Pantheon in Rome, we had our first experience with All'Antico after taking a 5 minute walk down the road. They actually had 2 separate locations flanking the pedestrian road, so there were two long lines snaking out in opposite directions. While we were waiting in line, we bumped into a couple from Spain who were also visiting. They gave my wife some personal recommendations, advising we get the blood orange soda with our sandwiches. After getting said sandwiches (the La Paradiso), we nibbled on them while walking to Sant'Ignazio of Loyola Church, which is that cathedral where there's a mirror directed up towards the murals on the ceiling and a huge selfie line. Hot damn were those sandwiches good. The thinly sliced mortadella paired perfectly with that buttery, green pistachio spread. The only challenge for my taste buds was the mild oral trauma I sustained from punching through the crispy bread; your gums started to feel it by the time you devoured your sandwich. But we liked it so much that when we later took the train to Florence, we sought All'Antico again at their original location. I thought that would be my last experience with All'Antico (unless, of course, I came back to Italy). So imagine my surprise when later that year I heard All'Antico had coincidentally opened a branch in Los Angeles, although rather awkwardly situated in Koreantown. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we made the drive immediately. There was no way this remote All'Antico location, thousands of miles from Italy, would live up to the experience I had in Rome earlier that year. But I was mistaken. Not only is the taste spot on, but the bread they serve is actually chewier and removed the gum calisthenics I suffered in Italy. And yes, they also have the blood orange soda as well. It's a little weird their location is in Koreatown, but not a big deal; we'll usually do a bingsu run afterward. Just like their locations in Italy, All'Antico is small but they do have a small collection of bar seats, some of which overlook the staff as they're making your sandwich. Be mentally prepared though to take it to go depending on how busy it is. Parking sucks too; there's street parking only, but if you come on Sunday you don't have to pay. Every so often now, we'll make the 30 minute drive just to relive that slice of Italy we experienced nearly 2 years ago. Thankfully, not a lot of people recognize how good this place is yet, as the lines aren't crazy long like they are in Italy. For all the other Yelpers in on it too, let's keep it our little secret for now.

Lunch rush came around 1:30pm. The workers were kind and helpful, each working diligently to complete everyone's order timely. I ordered the Mamma Mia, Dante, New Yorker--with Dante coming out as my fav. Shoutout to their truffle sauce, light yet not overbearing! Loved to see how they only use focaccia that just come out of the oven, and they cut your sandwich's meat from the meat hunk on an order basis. Very fresh, never greasy. I thought the Dante and Mamma Mia could improve by adding just one more ingredient as a cherry on top, like a sort of nut (walnuts, pine nuts) or something that helps the sandwich spark. Would love to see a bit more arugula too. No public bathroom--closest one is probably Hmart across the street (needs a code). Parking is metered, but there's free neighborhood parking 1-2 blocks away if you're able to find a spot. There's a few seats (5-6) and a standing bar around the perimeter of the store. Also, the drinks are money but you can ask for a water cup for free.
