I can't speak to the ambiance, as I ordered delivery service. It showed up well packed & perfectly intact. The breakfast burrito was piping hot, with that lovely crispness on the exterior of the tortilla, but still soft chewiness inside. The eggs were perfectly cooked & the sauces gave a nice zip! We went here for the first time today and couldn't be more in love with the place. I'm gluten and dairy free and they had the best gluten free chicken nuggets and dairy free ranch. My husband got the BBQ chicken salad and loved it. The potato wedges were especially good and came with so many delicious sauce options. I'm definitely going to come back and try the breakfast and smoothies soon. Also, the customer service was terrific from everyone we interacted with. The ambience was great, too. We went to try out this new kosher establishment in the neighborhood with my uncle. My uncle has a very limited palate so the children's scrambled eggs and tater tots were perfect for him. Made the real kid in the group want it as well lol. The weight conscious parents chose the salads and we thought they were both pretty good. Got a colorful smoothie and it did make us think of Hawaii for a brief moment. Prices are pretty good so we'll be back. read more

Really big fan of the smoothies here, the chicken is delicious and we really enjoyed the breakfast wraps... (this review is 5 visits late!) but what an incredible addition to the Pico Robertson Kosher scene a great place to just get a grab and go smoothie or other lunch item! The barista's and servers are all very kind and attentive to customer needs if you want to substitute or change things, and the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful! Amazing New Spot on Pico! Hatch Kitchen is an INCREDIBLE new kosher addition to Pico Blvd! I had the Asian Chicken Salad and the Steak & Egg Wrap, both were fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. The salad had a great crunch and the sesame dressing was spot-on. The wrap was hearty with perfectly cooked steak and crispy tots, comfort food, done right. Wow! No longer does LA Kosher have to suffer with gas station style kosher food. Headed out for a day trip with my kids and was able literally "grab-n-go" some awesome fresh food! Had two of the wraps and a salad. Perfection. Fantastic sauces. I can't recommend this place enough! Will be back for more "to-go" but also to try some more dine-in options. It's like a Kosher Erewhon! Do yourself a favor and check it out- The Choco Maca, PB&J and Or-gan-ic smoothies are amazing. Another great one is the Crater-Aid sub pineapple juice for oat milk add protein scoop. A side of ribeye steak or side of rotisserie chicken with a side of Hatch sauce are great and filling for simple, quick protein meals that keep you full for hours. The EBC, Asian chicken and chicken Caesar salads and wraps are also great. It's probably one of the only places in existence where you can get a chocolate shake and steak together and it's totally Kosher! This place is something that Pico needed for a while - tasty food with amazing ingredients, truly a gem. The staff told us that they do not use any seed oils and they do not even have a deep fryer. Hatch Kitchen in Pico is a clean, warm and inviting little spot with solid food across the board and chill vibes. The wings have a great rubs and wraps shine with queso and tots. The Hatch breakfast sandwich is a consistent winner, but all wraps are also perfectly toasted (if that is your preference). Smoothies and coffee are solid. The green shake is better than it sounds and the blue is off-the-chain-good. It's like we now have our own little kosher Erewhon counter. Veggies like cauliflower and green beans were a surprise highlight: crunchy, flavorful, and evenly cooked. The best thing is that they focus on healthy ingredients without seed oils (except in some sauces), and the food leaves you feeling satisfied without greasy or bloated feelings like most places. We need more spots like that in Pico. Overall, a prime place worth coming back to. read more

I had the Steak and Eggs Wrap and it was delicious, crackling with an unexpected variety of flavors that cohere into a truly satisfying meal. The chef, Elon, has come up with a unique menu that reflects the best of kosher cuisine using fresh, local ingredients. This is hugely tasy, unpretentious food that should satisfy even the most discriminating of palates. The Choco Maca Smoothie was a delightful and refreshing treat. The food does not sit like a time bomb in your stomach; rather it's light and fluffy yet totally filling. And, dare I say: healthy. Next time I head to the airport I'm going to pick up a Hatch wrap and take it on the flight rather than choke down the dreadful kosher meals. Service was great. The staff--especially the delightful and chipper Niki--are friendly, eager to help, and well versed in the menu choices. Hi, I’m Elan — the founder and owner of Hatch Kitchen along with my wife Sarah. Food has always been more than just a business for me. I’ve always believed that a great meal can change someone’s day — whether it’s a quick lunch between meetings, a family dinner after a long week, or catering for a celebration that really matters. That belief is what led me to build Hatch Kitchen in the heart of Pico-Robertson. Deeply impressed with this spot both ambiance and variety. Hard to convince me food quality wise to…read morelove something more than bay cities but it just MIGHT take the cake. Jackson market as a whole in terms of ambiance, variety, taste definitely overtakes bay cities but if you're just talking about comparing food quality sand which to sand which it will be a tough TIE (it's not less) than bay cities. Bay cities is loaded and so is Jackson but bay cities is a little more juicier where the inside sandwich ingredients shine more and you can definitely taste each of the ingredients eg banana peppers meats deli cheese etc. Jackson market's Italian sub had harder bread but I could see like some would argue it's more balanced. It definitely is a little less juicy and even though there were complimentary banana peppers I hardly tasted it at all as it was sprinkled far and few. If you paid for an added topping eg. Jalepenos they were definitely generous with it. Tip: DO NOT get the French baguette toasted as it'll be too hard. The market is fun because it also offers wine selections ($20-$60), not a fun cheese selection like bay cities, pasta salad, bomb tiramisu, has an entire PIZZA OVEN in the back, fun canned drinks including GUAYABA (an aloe tasting like drink), pastries, and chips/snacks. Ambiance - the patio in the back is spacious and big. They don't allow you to bring a computer to work there and the WiFi and service is pretty bad there. Parking - street parking along residential homes 2 subs ($14.99/each), 2 drinks, 1 large chip ($4.95) came out to be around $44. Overall an amazing find. The 10/10 would come back & especially try the pizza. Revolutionary in food taste ? Probably not but revolutionary in enjoyability and spot find? 1000%. Happy munching !

I asked him "excuse me, do you know where the restroom is?". He knew I was waiting there right in front of him the whole time and knew that he was ignoring me. And he outright yelled and said "what's the magic word??" With this angry and annoyed look on his face... I was shaken up and said "where is the restroom please?" And he told me where in the most annoyed voice. And I said thank you and left. This is the most unprofessional the outright rude way I have ever been spoken to. And this really puts a sour taste to me mouth about a place that would hire someone like that.

Wow wow where to begin? My family and I were always searching for a clean, fresh fast casual restaurant to frequent that would not beak the bank or our diets and finally we found it! Hatch kitchen is quick, convenient and delicious! From superfood smoothies and high quality coffee to rotisserie chicken and grab-n-go salads, this place has it all and more. They even offer great catering service which my office has already used several times since they opened. Oh and did I mention it's kosher? The place is hella clean, got a cool artsy vibe, and there's all these little knickknacks for sale that give it a lot of character. The staff was super welcoming from the jump. I got the avocado toast, my wife got the breakfast sandwich with the spicy eggs, and both were straight fire. Fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. Love finding random neighborhood gems like this. If you're in the area, don't sleep on it. We'll definitely be pullin' back.
