    Paris French Toast Breakfast
    Julie T.

Vees cafe is a hidden gem with a beautiful outdoor patio that is peaceful, vibrant and perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner with options for everyone. I love that they serve breakfast all day so you can pick a combination of whatever dishes you crave. The ambiance is nice for dates or catching up with friends, but during the weekdays it is also a great setting to get some coffee, pastries and do some work. Love the food and service. Nicolas and Fernanda were so sweet and created such a warm, homey environment. The food was delicious and I can't wait to come back to try more items on their menu from the chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, chorizo burrito, and pancakes to the other pastas and fish dishes. We ordered the following: Pumpkin Latte - new and perfect for Fall! Cold Pressed Juice (lemon, apple, beets, ginger) - so refreshing, healthy and a real treat yourself drink! Paris French Toast (came with a side of bacon and eggs or you can sub with potatoes) - This is a restaurant house favorite and a must for brunch. Romano Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp - this was my favorite! The sauce was rich, creamy and delicious. Shrimp plump and juicy. Chicken Caesar Salad with Avocado - a great option if you're going for something healthy Buffalo Chicken Wings - juicy and flavorful, my husband is the king of wings and he enjoyed them Onion Rings - these hit the spot and I would order a side of them again! Definitely check this place out!

Good vibes, garden patio, and brunch all day!! Tucked away with the cutest garden patio in the back, this popular local brunch spot is a true vibe! Freshly brewed coffee + lattes to start your morning right. Breakfast served all day (the dream) The Green Beast = packed with plant protein, fresh & flavorful The Paris French Toast = a must-order fave Chilaquiles Verdes = savory perfection Carrot cake = perfectly moist, not too sweet Plus, refreshing cold-pressed juices like the Green Immunity

The crazy up charge for a side of steak on our breakfast plate that they never disclosed

Food took forever to come out!!!!! 3 plates were served and then waited an additional 20min!!! for the remaining 3 plates. THEN they charged an additional $18 per plate for steak. They never disclosed the additional charge until we got the bill. So 1 breakfast plate came out to $42!!!!!!!!!! That's nuts for a small average restaurant. Love supporting our local spots but not at this price for a basic breakfast spot.

It's been a while since I've ventured this way in mid-town. Looks like a fun neighborhood with cool places to eat and drink. My dad's choice was this sweet little restaurant, from outside I thought there was no seating but they had a back patio full of little tables and picnic tables. Wouldn't say bring a big group of 10 but maybe like 5/6 max for a cozy spot. Now my issues are the price point/service factor for a sit down spot , Almost non existent. Slow but sweet, the food and drinks and everything was very slow and sent out unorganized (finished half my food before my gfs food arrived). I like the menu, found some things that were above average but If I'm going with needy guests, maybe not this kind of place. Cool for a small intimate hang out or coffee stop, but brunch is for groups and would look elsewhere. 5 of us $160 not including tip*

What's so great about these places is that they are the definition of hidden gems. I would've have never though to stop here if a friend hadn't recommended it. Location: It's on a busy street. I was able to find street parking pretty quickly. Interior/Exterior: Super cute and cozy interior/exterior. The inside had a comfy couch and light up sign. I will say that there was a little bit of christmas decor still. Maybe to the owners remove it so its more current. The back patio was the real winner. Cute seating along with a fountain and somewhat garden theme. Cozy. Food: I ordered a regular latte. For food we ordered Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries, Sicily Pasta with Salmon. The food was excellent. I am not a huge pasta supporter but it was tasty and flavorful. Service was great. Friendly and polite. Great little spot. No complaints and I would return.

Great place to stop for lunch and brunch, especially if you are in the neighborhood. The servers we very kind and attentive and the outdoor area has a beautiful rustic vibe. My wife had the Pumpkin Late, Shrimp Fettuccine, and Paris French Toast. I'm on the Keto diet so I got the Buffalo Wings and Chicken Caesar salad. All great.

I stopped by here for a coffee at the end of my morning walk. I got a medium vanilla latte with almond milk. It tasted how I expected it to. Good but nothing particularly unique. So I was surprised that the latte cost $9. I think that's too much for a vanilla latte with nothing extra except almond milk. I didn't order any food, but other reviews also mention how expensive it is. The decor was nice, and I like how they have patio seating. But the price point just isnt it.

Vees Butterfly Pasta with Shrimp. Very tasty.

I ordered Vees Butterfly Pasta with Shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. 1 point off tho for leaving the tail on the shrimp with such a creamy ass sauce... Also the staff didn't tell me there was outdoor seating on the back. I had to discover that on my own... Anyway, I'm definitely coming back and bringing friends.

Location was pretty , parking isn't the best but that definitely does not fall back on the buisness .. customer service was great and everyone was very friendly. Food was delicious . Really big portions and flavorful . Only small issue was the wait to receive our food. Restaurant did not seem too busy but it took about 35-40 mins for our food to come out. To be fair, our server did give us the heads up on it going to take that long Overall we enjoyed our visit and will be returning to try the brunch menu

Vees Cafe West Adams Gem Tucked into the heart of West Adams, Vees Cafe is the kind of spot that makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. I grabbed the Spicy Chicken Panini and a vanilla blended latte both hit the mark. The panini had a perfect kick, and the latte? Creamy, dreamy, and surprisingly light. Staff were all smiles, and the cozy, modern decor made it easy to linger. Bonus points for the garden fresh sides and generous portions. Whether you're brunching or grabbing a quick bite, Vees delivers warmth with flavor.

Off of first impressions it looks like a cool brunch spot, I just stopped in for coffee before going to the park. The staff was really friendly the place was massive. They offer valet parking but there wasn't much parking off the street. The coffee was good but it was also like 90% milk and 1 shot of espresso. Also this was $8.50 for 1 coffee..... why is this so expensive?? I would really like to come back and try the food but the initial visit is deterring me from coming back. EDIT - I'm updating my review because today I found out that their vanilla latte is actually $5.75. They charged me 8.50. Even with tax it should be $6.33. Even with a 20% tip with the tax that would be $7.59. So no I won't be coming back. Check your receipts.

    Coffee, pastries food!

STOP and read the reviews is something I should have done!! I don't know what this place used to be in the past but in the future, it's nothing first time here today. Customer service trash.!!!!!! Waiting on just two drinks Two women working one on the ph one working serving food walking back-and-forth.. orders are piled up I stood at the register for at least 15 minutes. Five minutes after she said you can scan the menu over there. There are so many places for coffee, pastries, or food on Adams whatever you do just don't stop here !! You need us to keep your business running, so why wouldn't you give the best Customer Service you have to offer... oh what I ordered the banana latte which actually turned out to be pretty good 25 minutes later..

I loved all the greens and pita to wrap the pork and goodies into! We ended with a bday scoop of mango sticky ice cream which was completely different than I've had before and yummy.
