What's so great about these places is that they are the definition of hidden gems. I would've have never though to stop here if a friend hadn't recommended it. Location: It's on a busy street. I was able to find street parking pretty quickly. Interior/Exterior: Super cute and cozy interior/exterior. The inside had a comfy couch and light up sign. They offer valet parking but there wasn't much parking off the street. The coffee was good but it was also like 90% milk and 1 shot of espresso. Also this was $8.50 for 1 coffee..... why is this so expensive?? I would really like to come back and try the food but the initial visit is deterring me from coming back. This is a very nice and quiet place in downtown LA. They have indoor and outdoor seating with several types of seating and tables to choose from. It is a bit hidden and has a very relaxing atmosphere. There's no public parking and bathrooms are not connected, i.e. you have to ask for a key and take a stroll to the bathroom, which are clean and sanitary. The food is ok. Such a cute brunch was had despite the lunch rush. Very lovely, vibrant colors from the mural out front to the food presentation. The back is where the party is at, with an experienced live acoustic guitarist brightening the mood in a rustic setting surrounded with lush plants. The staff has a fun vibe with each other that's befitting the casualness of this restaurant. It was quite funny to see one of them dance it off after another opened the door on him. I thought it was funny, but some of the operations felt hectic here. There's not really a physical menu you can look at so be prepared while in line (unlike us first-timers ). I recommend scanning the menu from a table instead of the take out QR code by the front because it doesn't have the full menu. The cashier was kind enough to help make some recommendations and helped us through the initial confusion. One of the orders was forgotten and came at the end, which I can overlook due to but with the huge line for dine in and take out. Most of the dish qualities did not suffer from the busyness. The lattes were decent, but the brunch foods including the French toast and omelette were excellent. Dishes were elevated with fresh, sweet, ripened fruits that most brunch places don't come close to. Star of the meal was definitely the perfect pesto pasta The salmon panini came so late, it wasn't as memorable since we got full already.
