Great Ice Cream but I did not feel safe. None of the employees were wearing masks. Also none of the customers but I'm sure that's harder to enforce. We are still literally in the center of the coronavirus pandemic with at least half the expected number of deaths in front of us in Alabama. read more

The ice cream is fine. BBQ sucks. "Social distancing" apparently means having the employees yell "can I help you" past two other people. After the third time she did it, I replied "you want me to just scream it across the store?" She was pissed. Made a remark to her coworker I couldn't hear because I was so far away. Took my order and plopped it on the counter. Didn't ask if I needed a drink or utensils. My friend made the comment "it feels like we're eating at a flea market concession stand." Not somewhere I'll visit again. read more

This place has amazing Ice cream and such a cute shop. You can get fresh baked pies and sit down for a cheap quick lunch. Their pulled pork sandwich was amazing and cheap their waffle fries are delicious and remind me of curly fries. Melon ice cream would be my recommendation if you come here or the coconut. If you're trying to pick up a last minute gift for literally any occasion the gift shop has something super cute. read more

Peach Park - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Clanton, Alabama

This is probably one of my favorite places to stop on the way home from south AL. They have a nice market inside where you can purchase locally grown produce or homemade salsa and jam. I had a peach pie and it was delicious, like always. I love how the outside is nice and crisp while the inside is delicately soft. Yummy! I also enjoyed their bbq sandwich... awesome sauce. read more

Peach Park was everything it was cracked up to be. Just wish we would have made the peach days (seeing peach royalty would have made the visit even more special)! Here are the scores: Ice cream: 8/10 great flavors Peach cobbler: 8.5/10 good, but was expecting more flavor on the crust If we were back in the area then we would likely try a few other farms before coming back (even though it was good). read more

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from a weekend getaway. We were in the mood for something sweet. There was a decent sized line for desserts, but it moved rather quickly. The service was great, and everyone was so pleasant. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the patio was absolutely adorable. They even had live music. My husband is a huge fan of peaches, me not so much. Thankfully, they had a variety of cobblers, hand pies, ice creams, and other baked items to choose from. He got the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream, and I got an apple hand pie with vanilla ice cream. I'm pretty picky about apple pies because most of them have apples cut too large, and they are never cooked down enough. This was not the case here. This was, by far, the BEST apple pie I've ever had. The apples melted in your mouth, and for someone with texture issues, it was a great experience. Once we finished my husband got back in line and got us more hand pies to take home to share with our family. Highly recommend this place. read more

Had a couple of sandwiches for lunch while passing through. We also got some peach cobbler and ice cream. The also have bbq but we didn't try it this trip. What we had was very good, worth the stop. read more

My Husband's family went here all the time growing up and now we go here too. It has great ice cream, great food, and a cute store. The fruit is always fresh and I buy some every time we are heading to Florida. read more

Do yourself a favor and get your food somewhere else before, possibly, having dessert here. The food is deep-fried and cafeteria grade. The brisket was rubbery, pulled pork was dry, and the sides, almost all of which were deep-fried, we're cold and tasted only of oil and fry coating. My two youngest kids love mac and cheese anywhere--except here. Neither of them ate more than two bites. The fried peach pie was okay, but just okay. With a name like "Peach Park" I figured they might put up their own peaches for use in pies but we saw them opening a big can of Sysco peaches. The ice cream was the equivalent of the cheapest variety you would fine in a grocery store. In short, the food tasted heartless and commercial. I give two stars instead of one because it was clean (aside from half the men's restroom having water on the floor) and the employees were friendly. read more

Pay ridicules prices to pick you own apples and experience crappy attitudes from the employees. What fun.

Not happy. It says online you are open until 8 pm. Got here a few minutes after 7 pm and everything was locked up. Several cars came in after us as well. Need to change your times or stay open to stated time. read more

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes! Fried Pies make my heart happy. The people here are fantastic, and the Cobbler is to die for

Black people be careful peach park is in cullman county and cullman county is a sundown town.

COVID seems to have hit the Peach Park pretty hard. There didn't appear to be as many options and inside dining was closed. All employees we saw followed mask and social distancing guidelines - too bad the other customers didn't. We got peach and apple fried pies to go - they weren't that great. Overall the place appeared dingy and shabby. read more

I've got to say, I've heard a lot of things about stopping at Peach Park whenever you're driving south on I-65, so when my sister and I last road tripped down to the beach, we made this pit stop. It's quintessential Alabama retail stop: the ice cream is good (not GREAT, but good), and the retail is very.....interstate Alabama retail. Think Cracker Barrel, but sparser. The garden area is nice to wander around, and there is plenty of outdoor seating at which to enjoy your treat of choice, but I'm not sure it garners a repeat visit from me. read more

Stopping at Peach Park is a tradition when coming back from the beach. They sell local fruit and vegetables, baked goods and has a gift area. They also have ice cream and a small restaurant. We had BBQ brisket sandwiches, Mac & cheese and a BBQ pork potato. All were equally delicious! The ice cream was also delicious! It's a fun place to look around. You can see ladies cutting & pealing peaches for the baked goods and photos of all the winners of the "Miss Peach" contests. read more

Peach Park - We've been stopping here since these 2 were little : ) - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Clanton, Alabama

This is a great pit stop right off the highway between Birmingham & Montgomery. It is always clean and it has lots of interesting retail items, homemade jellies, candies, and best of all fresh homemade ice cream. It is always delicious! It has a beautiful outside area with shade, seating, pathway and some playground type equipment for your kids. read more

Nice people. They have a little bit of everything you would find at a fruit stand and a lot more! Activities for the kids, park and waterfall. Great barbecue and don't leave without that famous Peach Ice cream! If your passing through or you live in the area, don't miss this place. stop in and be welcomed by the friendly staff and have a bite to eat! read more

Delicious peaches and ice cream! Lots of ciders and jams to choose . Fun place to relax , have a fast meal and pick up some goodies.

Peach Park is a must do if you are traveling through Alabama. They have grown and expanded over the past few years, so definitely stop in and check it out. Their barbecue plate is better than expected. The homemade ice cream is absolutely out of this world. Definitely recommend the peach. :) The fried pies will evoke memories of your grandmother's kitchen. You can buy fresh peaches and other produce in their farmer's market. Their retail store is adorable and stocked full of southern themed goods. However, the highlight is their fantastic playground that is hidden from sight up the hill behind the restaurant. Don't miss this if you have kids! It's a great place to stretch legs and prepare for a nap in the car. read more

What a fantastic find on our road trip! We weren't planning to stop but one child had to use the restroom. The Peach Park just looked cute and we decided to go in. And we're so glad we did! The grounds are beautiful and have little trails to walk. There's a boutique, a country store, a sweets and homemade ice cream shop, and a diner with indoor or outdoor seating. Oh and a playground!!! We stopped in October and it had a beautiful pumpkin patch perfect for photos. The food is amazing and their portions are enormous! If you find yourself on I-65, make this stop!!! read more

This place was awesome. Had a two scoop ice cream cone and it was huge. The ice cream was amazing. Hubby had a fries pie. And it was the best he ever had. People was friendly. Had a mom and pap bakery inside. Fairly cheap for what you get. Everything was delicious read more

Peach Park - Peach cheese cake two scoop - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Clanton, Alabama

Peach Park is an essential stop if you are traveling along I-65 in central Alabama. A staple pit stop for beach goers, Peach Park offers amazing ice cream. Obviously the peach is my favorite (Peaches are my favorite fruit so this place is honestly heaven). I've eaten in the cafe a few times and it is your typical down home southern cooking with fried chicken with all of the fixings like mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, French fries, and so on. Try the rotisserie bbq chicken with their white bbq sauce and you will not regret it! Finish your visit with a walk around the grounds decorated with peach decor and purchase some local fruits and veggies on your way out! Definitely stop by for 15 minutes or stay an hour or so, you will not regret it! read more

If your on 65. This is a Must Stop!! If you do nothing but get yourself a Peach () Waffle Cone...you'll see why. Chilton County Peaches.

Stopped here, like everyone else, on a trip home from the beach. Ice cream is very good. Outside market is nice to walk through. If you aren't from Alabama you should definitely stop here to get a little taste of Bama. read more

Definitely a little hole in the wall place, but they have good ice cream and peach pie.

Keep driving!!!! This place suffers from poor management and neglect. The two employees we came in contact with were pleasant and doing their best to serve customers. HOWEVER, the Men's bathroom had the most disgusting, stale pee odor from years of neglect. We ordered onions rings at 3 pm and they were luke warm and grease soaked from sitting under a heat lamp. Nothing recent or fresh about them. Tables and floors were dirty. Napkin holders on tables were empty. We've been stopping at this place for a few years and I noticed last year the management is just letting the place run down. AND, NO PEACHES. "The freeze, you know." Hell, fly 'em in. Get Mexican peaches - but, don't be out of your number one line of product!!! They are driving what could be a terrific business straight into the ground due to mis-managment and neglect of the facility. Don't blame this on the pandemic or the lack of employees. The lack of quality and standards is the responsibility of ownership and management. And, these people are failing badly. Solution: Fire the manager or sell the business!!! read more

A great place to stop on the way back from Florida. First off, they have peaches. Lots of peaches. You're going to be covered if you need peaches. Peach butter? Yep. Peach preserves. You're good. Peach ice cream? Yes, in spades. Peach cobber? Cold or warm. Peach jerky? Probably. Second, they have ample bathrooms. Doesn't matter that they were cutting edge in 1952, I went there with my 3-year-old and neither of us contracted syphilis, so I count that a "win". Lastly, if you come in the warmer months, expect clouds of flies. They have fans and other bug-destroying devices - it makes little difference. Those flies rule the day. read more

I've lived in Alabama for quite a few years and oddly had never been to this place. I really had no idea what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Yes you can tell this place is old but that is part of it's charm. They have a small playground area with some really old swings, jungle gym (when was the last time you saw one of those), and a see-saw. They have also built a new barn play area with slides that are super fast. The main restaurant was currently under renovation so we had to get our peach ice cream and fried pie up at the Texaco which has a Peach Park Express in it. Fortunately this did not affect the taste. It all tasted exactly as you would want it to. All in all it was a fun family experience that was really inexpensive minus the gas it takes to drive there from Birmingham. read more

Fresh Produce, peaches, and great homemade ice creams, pies and bread. Other food is ok at best and restrooms smell like you don't wanna go near them. But every year come and get peaches, pies, ice cream LOVE THEM! read more

Great pit stop! Huge juicy peaches, smoked ribs (tastes like you are eating ham (yummy), and ice cream. The food and ice cream accepts credit cards but the peaches you have to pay cash. They also have glazed nuts too. read more

Just stopped by peach Park to pick up some fresh peaches on my way back to Birmingham Alabama and I was positively shocked at the lack of any attempt to mitigate the contagious virus swirling around our nation. There was no attempt at social distancing, employees were not wearing mask or gloves and of the 100 or so customers I saw in there maybe 5% were wearing a mask. No wonder Alabama is suffering a major resurgence right now. Peach park is a petri dish. Very disappointing. read more

When you see a sign that says "Pull over here for the best peaches" you have to give it a shot. So much to choose from: peach jam, moonshine jelly, all kinds of veggies and fruits and ciders. Pecan pie looked amazing. I grabbed 3 peaches and their smallest cone of peach ice cream...walked around the charming gardens and rocked a bit in one of their chairs. Nice old Southern gentleman trying to explain what all the different ciders taste like...a wonderful break from driving. Best peach ice cream - sweet and creamy - I ever had. read more

The food in the little bbq restaurant in the back was mediocre. However, it's either that or Whataburger next door. The peach pies are awesome!!! Of course the peach ice cream was great. The grounds are huge filled with swings and a trail for kids to burn off energy while on a long road trip. The playground was hilarious, it looked unchanged in 30 years. Old school teeter totter, jaggedy jungle gym. Sand everywhere. Parents, beware of sand!!! Great pit stop in Podunk Alabama! read more
