Stopped in quick because of how cute it looked on yelp! Wanted to try all the dressings, sauces, pickled canned goodies, icecream, pies, cakes, ciders, cobblers, fresh fruits and veggies ! I only had enough time to grab some home made pimento cheese and it was the best I've had! Wishing now I would have tried the potato salad. They also had a chicken salad that looked amazing. Super cute old timey place, with a little playground and a cute random peach ! read more

Peach Park - Photo opt peach! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Clanton, Alabama

A Mecca for sugary goodness and a great place to let the kids play while you gnosh on homemade ice cream and cobbler.

Peach Park has been a staple in my family since birth. We stop on the way to and back one route to the beach. Every single time. It can't be missed. We always buy whatever fruit and veggies are in season. Also normally grab some baked goods, huge peach pies or Apple bread! But WHAT YOU MUST PURCHASE IS ICE CREAM. Peach caramel will change your life. God's honest truth. read more

Our family stopped for ice cream on the way home. The peach ice cream was pretty good! Besides ice cream, there is fresh veggies and lots of fresh peaches to buy! Great little stop for an afternoon snack! read more

This is a great place for the best store bought peach cobbler and very good homemade ice cream. However eat dinner somewhere else. The BBQ (I had chicken and my wife had pulled pork) was dry, overpriced and the condiment area was dirty, unattended and neglected. The facilities are in dire need of remodeling with new tables and chairs. I sat down on a broken chair. Also consider another option for your restroom break. They are far in the back and were filthy. read more

Delicious stop for the whole family road trip. Best Peach Cobbler I've ever had! Playground and facilities were great for getting some energy out with kids. Will definitely make it a tradition to stop to and from the Beach! read more

Nothing special for atmosphere but worth the stop for the warm peach pie and creamy homemade ice cream. A great indulgence!!

As a northerner on vacation, Peach Park is everything you think you will love about the south. The cafeteria-style seating and method of ordering have such a homey feel, and the food is great! I would definitely recommend the Mac and cheese, and I heard only good things about the desserts from the rest of my group. The outside area of Peach Park is beautiful and there are nice little trails to walk around as well as a playground, which looks great for kids. read more

I had the pleasure of stopping at this little attraction in Clanton, AL at a friends' request as we were traveling to Birmingham this past week. She was rambling on about some peach cake like it was the eighth wonder of the world. She described it as if it were made in a peach heaven with even peach icing on it. When we made it there, I went inside and at first glance it looks like any regular farmers stand market with its ciders and homemade juices and fruits lined up. A couple of drink machines and a novelty shop in the far corner. It also has a cake shop in one section and a whole other baked goods shop on a separate side that features homemade ice cream and cookies, and hot cobbler that included strawberry, peach, and blackberry. I got a mixture of blackberry and peach which were both delicious but I could have used a little more crust which is my favorite. I got a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream on top with was so rich and delicious. They also have fresh made peach pies among other flavors that were selling like hot cakes. Anyway back to the peach cake my friend was looking for. They had ran out but told us that the gas station next door sold them. We went there and had to turn around and come back because they just sent the last one back over to the store. When we finally got to order a piece it was frozen due to the fresh ingredients used which was also the case with all there cakes including the piece of red velvet I ordered. I have never been a fan of pre frozen anything especially cakes and after I finally dug in it was the worst. Even though mines had been thawed in the store when I bought it, the taste was like the freezer. The peach cake turned out to have had a makeover since she last had it and gained white icing instead of the original peach icing which was a turnoff to my friend. So if you do go, stick to fresh fruit pies and cobbler. The staff was also very friendly...especially the cake lady... I think her name was Doris. read more

Peach Park - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Clanton, Alabama

We got peaches, a peach pie, strawberry pie, and barbecue. The barbecue was pretty good, but it's not what they're know for. Now the peaches and pies on the other hand...YUM. Hot, fresh, and gooey pies and the peaches were large, juicy, and had tons of flavor. We stopped by on both ends of our trip, and anytime I pass it from now on, there's a pie with my name on it. read more

Fun family place! Delicious ice cream and cobbler, nice gift shop, love the rocking chairs for guests, cute outdoor tails, kids love the playground, love the water fountain, love the barn and sand for kids to play. Good for fun afternoon, birthday parties, or picnic. Definately visit if you can. read more

Home of the fried pies and ice cream! Don't drive past the interstate when you see the sign! One of our hometown tourist attractions. Great place to take the kids, there's a park behind it, and pick up some memorable gifts to take back home. Fruits, vegetables, fresh from their gardens. It's a must see on your travels. read more

Great place to stop and stretch your legs and get some peach cobbler topped with ice cream! We loved it. Their food looked good as well.

The peach ice cream was mediocre, I felt like it should have had more of an authentic peach flavor, but instead tasted like artificial peach syrup. The location is clean, the restrooms are way out of the way and almost hidden from the view of the public. The restaurant is clean, they offer a large variety of merchandise. Also, there is a lot of outdoor seating. read more

Not as cool as it looks. I can see if you've been traveling for hours and need a pit stop how this could be good for a family. However, prices are inflated for the tourist crowd. Yes, the ice cream is good, but overall the place is randown and a little outdated. Overall, it just wasn't a great pitstop. #Basic read more

If it's got peaches in it this is your place. I especially love the peach ice cream (with chunks of real peach in it) and the peach turnovers. Also, I always stop by when I need some mahaw jelly. It's something that's hard to find just about anywhere else. read more

Last year I would have given 5 stars, this year though, one star. Bought 2 baskets of peaches on Saturday and 3-4 days later they are all bad. Mushy, moldy, a few that were still good had rotten pits in them. Last year we bought 6 baskets and the last one was eaten 2 weeks later. read more

Definitely a great place to stop either on the way to or from Florida. They offer a great fruit market, dessert selection, and quick eat options. While we didn't have time to stay for dessert, their barbecue pork sandwich, and sides (potato salad, waffle fries, mac & cheese, and baked beans) were all good. We also grabbed some boiled peanuts and fruit before heading back on the road. Definitely would stop here again while traveling south and need to try the dessert options as they smelled wonderful! read more

This is a fun break to take from all the driving on the interstate if you are going up or down 65. They have lots of fresh fruits, veggies, baked goods and other stuff in their market. They also have a restaurant. Give it a shot if you want a nice, short break from the road. I've never gone out there, but I think they do have a legitimate park for playing in and relaxing, maybe even camping. Hot peach cobbler and ice cream:) read more

Stopped on our way through town. Expect the typical tourist trap spot. Have ice cream and bakery items available. Tried coconut, strawberry, cookies n cream milkshakes and a small side dish of vanilla. All good flavored. Had apple, peach and strawberry hand pies. Not whole pieces of fruit like one expects with "pie" more of a filling consistency. Warm cobbler is another option. Fresh fruits and veggies available for purchase. Two small gift shop areas. Was a good stop to stretch legs and let kids have a treat. read more

Peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream was amazing. The cobbler was nice, warm and fresh. So good!!

Great place to take a break and find some good treats! The cobbler is amazing and you can buy some to take home! Food is great too!

This is THE first stop on the way to beach. A must for all travelers. Peach pie, BBQ , and the best peaches.

We really enjoyed our visit here. The food and ice cream were amazing. After we ate we walked up to the playground where we had a lot of fun and the kids were able to get some energy out. The bathrooms did have an extremely horrible sewer smell but overall we loved our visit. read more

We have a family tradition of stopping here on the way to the beach. Love to get peaches to eat at the beach and a treat like ice cream, fresh fruit, and fried pies. The only reason I only rate it 4 stars is the restrooms have literally been the same since I was young. They have people designated to clean them and a tip jar for that person. They usually are clean, but they smell HORRIBLE! I think it's because of the age of everything in there. They need to overhaul them badly. read more

Absolutely love the peach ice-cream here, but the home-made goods continue to be less and less appealing, and the prices continue to go up. We had some delicious cheese-straws, but a serving for 2 people is $15. Ridiculous! We also had some apple bread that was tasty bread, but virtually no apples and was $8 for a loaf, which if the bread were actual apple bread, ok, finally a reasonable price, but when you can't locate the apples, not a reasonable price. I will continue to come here for the ice-cream, because of family tradition, and tastiness, but that is sadly about it. I love the peach salsa, but just am not going to pay $8 to $10 for a small jar of it. read more

Had peach pie a la mode. The pie was nice and warm which allowed the vanilla ice cream to melt and just yum. A must stop when your passing through. read more

Not sure how to report a incorrect address but this navigated us to a business that is closed. :(

Best peach ice cream and peach fried pies anywhere! I stop every chance I get when I'm going thru Clanton.

Very nice place to spend time with your family. Food is so good . Prices of the food and icecream is not bad . Great area for kids to play and walk around . read more

This place is amazing and a new tradition we started last year on the way to the beach. You can get fresh produce, preserves, barbecue and ice cream all in one place. Their chicken tenders were so addicting and their homeade mac and cheese was creamy and reminds me of my great grandma Mimi's. They also have some of the friendliest staff. I am pretty demanding and they were so accommodating. Definitely worth stopping by. read more

Overall a good experience after spending 10 hours in a car. Delicious ice cream and fresh deli sandwiches. Kids were able to pose with life like farm animal statues and play on a playground for a while. General store was filled with a quite a few items, all a bit pricey. Perfect rest stop on a long drive but not anything I would go out of my way to visit. read more

Got 4 of the fried peach pies for the family. They were awful. Some sort of weird chemical taste. We threw them out. We would have been better off with TastyKake peach pies. I will never waste my money on these overpriced items again. read more

Much to offer in produce, eats, and goods, however extremely lacking in customer service. Every single staff member seemed to be having their worst day. After our basket was snatched from our hands by the grumpy young girl in the produce area we stood in line for ice-cream and were met with similar service. We will probably stop elsewhere on our next trip through Clanton. read more

It truly is one of the best Alabama has to offer, if you pass by it is a must stop, and you must try the peach ice cream.
