We were a bit surprised when we walked in (which door is the "middle" door?)...because they have expanded 3-fold! Eclectic decor - charming in its own way. Prompt, polite, and efficient service. Menu....is MASSIVE! and impressive. Please COME HUNGRY....'cause you're gonna need a bigger boat - to paraphrase a line from "Jaws." Absolutely spot on Chicago Dog...of course! And a wonderfully impressive Smokey Outlaw Burger so big I could not pick it us. It was truly a "knife and fork" sandwich (except perhaps for some of the big ole' boys & girls.) Came loaded with a hefty burger patty 6 ounces? Topped with a hefty portion of tender and delicious, slightly smoky, moist pulled pork. Added to that, some delightful and slightly sweet BBQ sauce and a couple of tangy pickle chips. Bingo! One of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Crunchy fries...As I said, gonna need a bigger boat....(or bigger belly).

Server didn't know the cut of beef they were serving as smoked meat. Allegedly was brisket but was roast beef smoked way too long where it was tougher than jerky. Ribs were super fatty. Ambiance was very old and dated.

The parking lot was full of local cars - this is where the locals go. Looking at the menu, food prices were very reasonable with ample choices. The atmosphere was wonderful - wood burning stove in the corner. Great front porch, flowers, wood plank flooring and a modern country decor - nothing cutsie. We were greeted promptly. There is a bar or you can eat from the menu. Food came quickly and it was very good. The bathrooms and restaurant were clean - and it looked like you might be able to eat off the floor, it was so clean. Staff were smiling and friendly, calling people by name. There is a daily special posted every day on Facebook. Can't wait to go back! 5/11/18 Update - we are here this month with the local bike night group - along with a local car show! The place is hopping! The Farm House food is fresh and homemade. Farm-to-Table movement has nothing on Miss Tiffany! She buys veggies from the local produce stands all summer long. If her food is frozen, it's because she froze it. The food tonight is on the bar - hot, plentiful and tasty. Hubby even liked the greens - and he hates greens... but not at the Farm House! Hubby wants to tell everyone, the piece of meatloaf is really big and really good! Enjoy your next trip to the Farm House when you are in Thorsby!

We decided to have lunch there today and I was pleased with our meals. It's a small restaurant with about a dozen tables and it was very clean. It had a small cafe appeal to it. Our server waited on us right away, but I have to say she didn't see very personable. She might have had other things on her mind. It didn't interfere with the food or service though. They have daily specials which you can find on their Facebook page. They also have desserts that look yummy. We ordered the daily special, which was Country Fried Steak (which was awesome) and blackeye peas and mashed potatoes. We also had the Touchdown Cheeseburger with fries and a drink. Everything was really good. The only negative comment would be the fries were not hot but more like room temperature. The total cost of our meal was very reasonable, and we'll be back for another meal later.

They were light, fluffy, and tasted similar to Cracker Barrel's hotcakes. The Conecuh sausage link was a great pairing.
