Baskets and carts available. Lots of peaches of course. But also some other fruits and vegetables. All looked good and they were bringing out more from the back. Several cold cases with bagged and packaged items including sauerkraut cheeses and butter and soft drinks. Lots of pickled, canned items (Mason jars) and dip mixes. Some metal yard art sculptures, cute pots for plants, tee shirts. Then if you go inside there's an ice cream counter and some baked goods, and you can order sandwiches. There are lots of tables so you can eat there or get it to go. One whole side of the store is now retail items such as clothes, cups, stuffed animals, keychains, jewelry, etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food came out pretty fast. Price a little steep but they were pretty big sandwiches and they were good. My mother got a Club on white and I got the Holy Guacamole on sourdough. They did make a couple errors. They switched the bread, so my sandwich came out on white and my mother's came out on sourdough. There were also no sprouts on my sandwich. No mention that they were out of them so assuming they forgot. But both sandwiches were very good so not a big deal. Place was clean and tables were being cleaned and items were being swept up as needed.

It's no frills just good eating. The included menu say they are open Tuesday thru Saturday. This could change. I would call them if you're planning on visiting on Sunday or Monday. They have a daily choice of meats and sides (which includes your drink) along with menu items. You walk up to the serving line to choose your meat and two or to place your order. They have fountain drinks along with sweet and unsweet tea. Due to the size of the building, there are limited seating with a few tables outside. The ribs had what tasted like cajun seasoning dry rub on them which was very good if you like dry rub. The red beans and rice was AWESOME and perfectly seasoned. The mac & cheese was oven baked and perfectly cooked. I will be back to try the other items.

Why? Service was super fast , the older waitress was working her tail off taking orders, serving, and even running the register. I got grits, pepper gravy, and sausage . My husband got 3 meats (sausage, bologna and crispy bacon) (bacon done right not floppy), homemade biscuits, scrambled eggs, and the best farm grown sliced tomatoes. They gave my husband the tallest cup of sweet tea I've ever seen anywhere. They also have for lunch a meat and 3 vegetable plate or even veggie plate. We plan on coming back for that. Unfortunately the floor was a bit sticky by the restrooms and just one woman stall. Hence the 4 * rating. It's open very early in the morning while most everything is not . We were glad it was walkable distance from Cornell's auto shop. My husband's truck had to be regenerated. It's a diesel and the ash had clogged the filter ugh. So if you are looking for home cooking and zero frills then pick this one.
