At $25 for this, I'd like whole shrimp please. There were a few pieces of raw spinach with pepper on the top. I would've loved a sauce of some kind. During that time, two separate groups entered the restaurant and were immediately greeted and acknowledged. Meanwhile, multiple employees looked directly at me and continued to ignore me. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, I finally received the order, but only after the customer I was delivering for called the restaurant. When the food was handed to me, I politely mentioned to the employee that I had not been greeted when I arrived, despite other customers being acknowledged right away. Rather than addressing my concern, the employee refused to give me the order and called over the owner or manager. When he asked what the issue was, I explained that I simply wanted to bring attention to the fact that I had not been acknowledged when I entered the restaurant. He responded by saying that he knew I was a DoorDash driver and that the food was not ready. I asked how he could have known I was a DoorDash driver if no one had ever greeted or spoken to me. Instead of answering the question, he asked if I was going to take the food or not and told me I needed to leave because he was tired of dealing with me. He then began raising his voice, insisting that my wait was due to the food not being ready. I repeatedly explained that my concern was never the wait time. I understand that food preparation takes time. My issue was that no one acknowledged me when I arrived. Without speaking to me, the staff had no way of knowing whether I was a DoorDash driver, a customer dining in, or someone else needing assistance. Despite my attempts to clarify my concern, I was again told to leave because he did not want to deal with me. What should have been a simple conversation about customer service and acknowledgment became an unnecessarily hostile interaction. As a result, I will not be returning to this establishment and wanted to share my experience.
