Medium Pokebowl with salmon, tuna and shrimp over field green with sprinkling of brown rice, all fresh toppings

Came to Auburn with my freshman son for orientation. I looked on Yelp for recommendations and came upon Pokemen. I love poke bowls! I already tried the pokemen at Heyday market food court last time in town so wanted to venture somewhere new. Well a short drive to Tiger Square near Tiger town. Pokemen was a nice clean bright space for dine in as well as to go. Incredibly fresh ingredients and most friendly service! I got the medium bowl with 3 proteins of salmon, tuna and shrimp over field greens. The nice young man suggested a little brown rice over my greens for some texture so I said sure! I said every topping looked so good so he said he can give me a little bits of all assortments I chose wasabi shoyu and sweet chili on the side. He packed my food up to go with chopsticks, and plastic ware/napkin wrap up. Food was so good! My to go container"bowl" was huge! Bigger than my eat in bowl at Hey Day Market location. I joined the rewards program to earn freebies. Will definitely return!!!!!!!

Spicey Korean Ramen and fried gyoza.

We ate here for a late lunch today. The place was empty but we figured it was because of the Auburn game and nearly everyone being on or around College Street. First off, the establishment was very clean and we were greated as soon as we walked through the door. A man who seemed to either be the manager or owner walked up and made small talk with us before ordering. We came for ramen but the poke bar nearly made us change our minds as everything looked fresh and very appetizing. However, we went with our original choice of ramen. Unfortunately, there were not a lot of ramen options. There were four different broths to choose from and only about 6 or 7 toppings with only one of those being a protien which was chashu (pork belly). We both ordered different variations of the ramen with all of the toppings plus an order of gyoza. Our food only took several minutes and was brought out to us nice and hot. The broth on the ramen was fantastic and the chashu was some of the best I ever had. The gyoza was also very good with all the elements of a perfect bite. Honestly, I was skeptical of Pokemen upon pulling up but I am glad I gave them a try. My only reccomendation is adding more protein choices to the menu for the ramen. I will definitely be going back to try the poke. So why only four stars you may wonder? Well not many place receive 5 stars from me and I have ate at several different ramen places from Atlanta to Orlando with a few of them good enough to make me want to relocate.. Pokemen does have the potential to get a 5 star rating from me though.

I loved my poke bowl! I'm weird and normally don't eat poke unless I'm close to a coast but I was craving it today. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the poke was and all the toppings! The lady making my bowl from me was very friendly and patient with me (first time eating here) and the chef came out to check on all the tables to see if they were happy. I will definitely be back! Excited to try the ramen next time.

Small poke bowl- half ahi and half spicy ahi with green onion, seaweed, pineapple, cilantro, edamame, spicy mayo on half and furikake.

I REALLY wanted to love Pokemen because I miss Hawaiian poke bowls so much, but this place didn't do it for me. I got a small poke bowl, half ahi and half spicy ahi with a variety of toppings to choose from. The scoops are probably around 2oz and you get two scoops with a small bowl (which is overpriced in my opinion for such little amount of protein). The ahi was not "melt in your mouth" quality, it was an odd, dull tougher texture. The save grace of my bowl was that once I mixed it all together, the flavor profile was able to satisfy my craving regardless of the quality of fish. *the only reason I'm giving 3 stars vs 2* My husband ordered the Ramen with tonkotso broth TO GO and we didn't realize that the broth needed to be added to the HARD noodles for them to soften up (like glorified cup of ramen), so by the time he went to eat his meal, he had to wait even longer for it to "cook". Besides that misunderstanding, the ramen left a lot to be desired with flavor. Sadly, I'm going to have to keep looking around for my poke bowl spot. If you know what true Hawaiian poke is supposed to be, then this probably isn't going to be your place either.

Had some delicious poke bowls here!! Would love to try the ramen as well. Portion sizes are great, pricing is super reasonable, and the food is all delicious! There were so many topping options which was great!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Pokemen is such a fun and delicious place in Auburn! I've only had the poke bowls but they are so good. There are a lot of options for your bowl and the ingredients are always super fresh, which I love! I want to try more here but I just have to get a poke bowl every time I come! So incredibly good!

Pretty good place. The portion sizes are large, and they offer a good variety of toppings. I just wish they had a spicy salmon option.

This place is soooo good! It's yummy enough for us to drive over from Columbus when we have multiple options for poke and ramen locally.

Tonkotsu ramen's basic flavor profile is fat, salt, and (in the case of black tonkotsu) garlic. It is an incredibly rich, salty, and filling dish. The broth should be creamy as a result of all the fat, collagen, and gelatin extracted by cooking pork bones for over a long period. Mizu Ramen is none of these things. It is a thin, watery dish devoid of flavor. Either the base of the soup was not cooked long enough, or they're cheaped out on the amount of bones used. I found myself pouring soy sauce into it just to make it somewhat salty. You don't even get a shaker of furikake or some vinegar for the table! While Mizu avoids a 1 star rating on account of the fact that it's not disgusting and the service isn't bad per se, I cannot recommend it as a much better ramen chain, UMAMI, is only 7 minutes away.

The host greeted us quickly, sat us, and we got our drink orders pretty immediately I ordered an eel roll because when I asked the waiter about the raw sushi rolls that are wrapped in radish/cucumber rather than rice and seaweed he said it was only a special roll? Whatever that means I also ordered shrimp hibachi dinner while my husband ordered the NY strip dinner. We decided to dine in rather than sit around the hibachi area The restaurant was beautiful inside, high ceilings, clean, and modern with bar seating and sushi bar seating When I got the eel roll, the first thing I noticed was how there was barely any eel in there compared to other sushi restaurants I've been to (which has been all over the states). But it did taste pretty fresh so next time I'll dine in just for sushi and will update my review The hibachi dinner was great. It wasn't super salty like other hibachi restaurants. I felt like my husband's steak was a bit over cooked but he enjoyed his meal Besides the skimping out on eel, the only problem I had was waiting longer than usual for our hibachi dinner to come out. I was expecting our food to be nice and hot but it was actually partially cold like it was sitting in the back for a bit We were starving so at this point we were scarfing our food down. I will be back for more sushi and to try their noodle dish!
