Love this place. Everything is solid. Noodles, spring rolls, peanut sauce, curry, we've tried a bunch of the menu items and never been disappointed! Only ever done take-out vs dine-in, so I can't speak to table service, but the folks on the phone and at the register have always been nice and friendly. I went to lunch with my co-worker at PDX Thai Dining because it's within walking distance of work. The past few times I was disappointed because the "sauces" seemed off. I agreed to go again because I used to really like it. We walked in and were told that they were only serving dinner size portions today and we agreed to split, "P2". that's Kra-Prao with chicken. It was delicious! We had ordered the shrimp salad rolls as an app, just in case the dinner size wasn't enough. Those were tasty as well. It was plenty of food and we realized that in the future, it was a better deal to split rather than ordering our own lunch size dishes. The service is friendly and quick, small parking lot but never seem to have a problem finding a spot. read more

Food, service and location is best. That's all you need to know. Usually can park in the parking lot, might need to park in the street, depending on time of day. I'm usually able to jump out while my husband drives around the block. Our food has always been ready when we arrive, orders have never been wrong, quality has always been the same, perfect! We discovered the this spot during Covid, naturally there was no eating in, so we have always paid and run, making their ability to get our order correct, so very important. Great take out and dine in restaurant on SE Holgate. Pad kee mao with chicken and Massaman curry are our house favorites. The food is always ready super fast and they text updates if you order through the website, very helpful. The appetizers are tasty and we enjoy the larb salad. Thai tea is great too. I got the food home and started plating. The fried shrimp was done great - lots of crisp and flavor. The potstickers were good, pretty standard. The Kra-Prao with chicken was really good. This Thai spot has a few parking spots out front. It's nothing fancy and has a pretty basic interior. The menu is pretty traditional and offers a wide range of dishes. The prices are moderate. I sat down for lunch. The staff were friendly and quick with service. I ordered the Kra-Prao with tofu and some crispy rolls. The crispy rolls were small and I was hoping for more for the price. The Kra-Prow was a good amount of food. It was decent, but not something I would get again at this spot. This place is okay, but not somewhere I would go out of my way to eat. read more

I came here for a post-gym dinner and it was fantastic. As I came on the earlier side of dinner, the place was fairly empty. My boyfriend and I were the only ones there, but we did notice that they were doing A LOT of to-go/delivery orders (so I might check it out again over delivery!). Their menu is pretty big; they have the traditional things you typically see in Thai restaurants but also some unique dishes, such as the Panang Salmon and Duck Curry! Their kitchen seemed pretty small, but the order didn't take very long. Service was very nice and quick. Everything tasted so so amazing. Gosh once again reminder that the sometimes the best things are right under your nose. This little local Thai place is a hidden gem. Service is quick and so friendly and food is some of the tastiest Thai we've had.,We love their Pad See Ew medium spicy but they can adjust the spice to any dish which is great - it's got so much flavor. Their pad Thai is the best the pra king string bean dish with fried tofu compliments our meal every time. Peanut sauce is great just a smidge if heat crispy egg tools come out fresh and out. I've eaten takeout from PDX Thai Dining probably around 20 times and every single time the food has been perfection. When I'm too lazy to cook and am having a craving for Thai food, I know that if I order from here I'm going to have an amazing meal. The portions are big enough for me to have leftovers for the next day. Spiciness ratings are accurate, so be careful. They don't play around with the hotness. This place opened at the beginning of the pandemic so I was not sure they were going to make it. I'm glad they did. We finally got in to try it and really enjoyed our food and the service. They seem to do a lot of to go orders so there's people going in-and-out but there were plenty of tables available. This kind of food always tastes better to me fresh and hot so we really enjoyed sitting in the restaurant and eating. The only slight knock I have against their food was I asked them to spice up the mussaman curry since it's not usually very spicy. Even asking to up it to medium, it was barely spicy. My mom and I went to PDX for dinner back in February. We weren't super hungry so we got the shrimp fresh salad rolls and the tom-kha soup with tofu to share. The service was good and the food was ready quickly. The shrimp fresh salad rolls were very good and were served with more then enough peanut sauce. The tom-kha soup wasn't spicy enough and had a lot of big chunks of tomatoes. I think less tomatoes or tomatoes cut in smaller pieces would make it better. Otherwise, the soup was good except for the two reasons above. I would visit this restaurant again if I was craving some thai food and was close by. read more

We ordered everything 'bangkok spicy', not crazy just let the cook make it right. Terrific papaya salad, sweet sauce. Also had duck curry (red curry with duck and pineapple), phad kee mao with beef and tom ka gai that was loaded with galangan. Oh and crispy rolls. Everything was terrific. They served breakside wanderlust ipa - the first time ive gad good thai food with a yummy ipa. Better than most food weve had in thailand. Strongly recommend and prices much lower than seattle. Ordered take out on a cold Portland day. We order fried rice and woon sen. The lady on the phone was super friendly and it would be ready in 15 minutes. That brought joy to my ears. We live close by so we took the journey to pick up our precious food. Walked in, it was ready and back on our way to home to fill our empty bellies. Fried rice was great and came with a few cucumbers to freshen the palette. Woon sen came with a side of rice and had perfect vegetable to noodle ratio. Excellent Pad Woon Sen, Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, Pad Se Ew, and Salad Rolls. My wife and I have been eating here once a month or more over the past year and love it. We always get take out since we live close by. The food and service is always excellent, our orders are usually ready to pick up in 10-20 minutes depending on the time of the day. Basically we can order over the phone and by the time we have our keys, wallet, and drive over the food is ready. Every meal has been delicious with generous portions. This place opened up just down the street from me over a month ago. Almost RIGHT as the pandemic started. Still, they stayed open, offering takeout! I really wanted to try them because they were so close but wanted to give it a couple weeks as I do most new restaurants. Well, I finally ordered, and holy cow... blown away! I looked at the menu through yelp pictures and ordered the following: Fried Wontons Mixed Vegetable Stir Fry with Chicken Pad Kee-Mao with Shrimp Krao-Prao Fried Rice with Chicken It. Was. Amazing. I have been in Portland over two years now and have tried SO many Thai places, trying over and over to find a favorite. This one hit the jackpot. When I called to order the gentleman who answered the phone was so kind. Told me it would take 20 minutes, I got there within 15, and my food was ready and still hot when I got home! The only thing I wouldn't order again would be the Fried Wontons (not enough filling) but other than that, IT WAS SO GOOD! Try them! Support them! I need this place to stick around!
