I come here very often. I'm not sure if there was a change in ownership, but about a year or two ago all of the older Asian servers disappeared. The food is still good, but ever since the staff change, the service has been very hit or miss, definitely not as good as before. The new service team has a goldfish brain and always forgets things. We always order mango sticky rice here and it is a gamble every time. The last time we got it, the rice was rock hard and completely inedible, like it had been over-microwaved. The lady said she would give me one for free the next time I came, but unsurprisingly, she had already forgotten about it when I returned. As for spice levels, their "4-star spicy" barely registers for me, but the chili sauce and chili oil you can request on the side are dangerous. They might not taste that spicy at first, but they creep up on you and hit hard later. I've learned that the hard way many times. There was also a recent price increase. It's unfortunate, but honestly I'm surprised they held off this long. The new pricing is pretty much in line with other Thai restaurants now, which means this place isn't as affordable as it used to be. If you didn't know, you can sign up for their rewards program through the Fivestars app using your phone number or directly at the register. I only found out about it much later since they always bring the check to the table and I rarely pay directly at the register. This has been my go-to Thai spot for a long time, but once I redeem my next reward, I might start reconsidering my options in this price range. read more

Service is always friendly, the portions are huge (we always have leftovers), and spice levels are the real deal. Every order comes with complementary gyozas. Delicious food and amazing service. I've eaten in here once and I was surprised to find such a big beautiful restaurant absolutely empty. The other times I've ordered takeout it's always empty inside which is so heartbreaking. This business has incredible food and fantastic customer service with easy available parking! This is one of those places you almost don't want to write a review for because it's so good you want to keep it a secret. There's nothing on this menu is bad. Truthfully it is all genuinely great. The location in itself is lackluster but there is parking. And it is just a short drive from a lot of Portland shopping. The inside of the restaurant is nice, clean, and had nice decorations. Siri remains one of our favorite spots for take out orders. We were recently reminded of the pleasures of dining in with more than just the two of us. Our small group was able to take an extensive tour of the Siri menu, with everyone getting to have a bit (or a lot) of everything. It's wonderful getting the opportunity to try more than just a handful of items. Servings were plentiful, and beautifully plated (again, a nice change from scooping dinner out of to-go containers). The food is DELICIOUS!! I live on the west side but I will cross rivers and mountains to come eat here. We ate like kings and queens when I picked up a larger take out order. We had the chicken noodle dish that the employee Emily recommended to us abd it was probably my favorite dish with the wide rice noodles. We also had Tom Kah soup, won tons and crab ragoon, spicy basil rice with veggies and for dessert the mango sticky rice. They do a great job here. Siri Thai is my go-to spot for delicious Thai food in SE Portland! I visit every other month and it never disappoints. The interior is fun and authentic, with colorful napkins that really add to the vibrant atmosphere. The service is always great--friendly and attentive staff make every visit enjoyable. The portions are large and definitely worth the price. My favorite dishes are the pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, pad thai, and yellow curry. These are consistently flavorful and satisfying. The Thai tea and crab puffs are a perfect complement to the meal, and a nice touch is the free potstickers they offer on the house. Siri Thai stays one of my top favorite Thai spots in Portland. The chicken pad Thai always satisfies my cravings, the meat is juicy and noodles have the perfect flavor and aren't too oily. The Thai ice tea is very refreshing and hits all the right notes. Staff give large portions and complimentary potstickers as an appetizer. This is the best Thai food in Portland, a perfect flavorful "10" for all the many meals we've had here. Portions are generous, the spice level is right on (you can ask for more or less), and they don't skimp on meat or vegetables. Everything tastes like it was just made fresh, whether it's curries or stir fries. Prices on the wide-ranging menu are reasonable as each entree serves 2-3 people in our experience. I have visited Portland from California twice now and each time I have ate at Siri Thai. This Thai restaurant is a must-stop every time I am around the area now. It was late and I was tired and hungry, and my kid had a rough day and wanted some fried rice. I called shortly before close and asked if I could still place an order for some Thai sausage fried rice and they were so kind and said of course. I had never ordered from Siri before, and fried rice can be such a gamble. Parking was easy and when I went inside it was cute and clean, and everyone was so welcoming despite being in the process of closing. I got my food and paid and headed home. As I unpacked the bag, I discovered that they had included a small box with three potstickers (which happen to be my daughters fave) and dipping sauce, and the fried rice was AMAZING!! I can't wait to go back and try more food there, they are doing a great job. read more

While we were deciding on our dinner they comped our table with egg rolls. Delicious! We ordered salad rolls for an appetizer. Also delicious! The peanut sauce had a little bite to it but was a welcome change. I ordered the Kung pao chicken. Some of the best I've had! We ordered several different entrees and all were incredible. We always get some free dumpling with our meal, and the workers are always attentive and kind. We've gotten take out and dined in here, and I haven't had any issues yet. The dining are is fairly large, so there's never much of a wait. They aren't super modern, but it's clean and gives a homey experience. When picking up take out it's easy to order online and run in.
