I asked about Cutter's and she said they bought Cutter's last year. She said they always had the number I called, so I'm not sure if the Cutter's number forwarded calls to Assured or not, which would make the statement the lady that answered the phone true, but idk. Anyway, she told me it would be about $130, I believe up to 10 banker's boxes. I said I had the equivalent of 4-5 boxes. She said they could shred up to 10 boxes, so anything less they'll take for the $130. I was used to paying $30-60 with Cutter's, depending on how much shredding I had to do, so this price seemed outrageous to me. The lady on the phone seemed to me a bit snarky, but I could have perceived it that way after she told me the price is still $130ish ($129.XX). A part of me wanted to be sarcastic, but I wasn't. There wasn't any need to ever be sarcastic. I thanked her for her information, but it did not seem reasonable for me to pay so much. I ended up getting a much better deal with a Tempe company with incredible service & pricing and pay for what was being shredded instead of some flat price regardless. I've read a number of the reviews and they seem to like Assured, so maybe the woman that answered my call was having a bad day. idk. But I am missing Cutters.

Shred-it offers a mobile shredding service that eliminates the uncertainty of having sensitive information being transported to an extra place for shredding, since all shredding is done in their mobile unit truck. They normally will come by from 8-5, but our office closes early on the day we scheduled our pick-up. They made every assurance that the truck would come by before we left. When they arrived (halfway through our short work day) all our boxes were disposed of in a short amount of time. The drivers will have large hand-trucks to cart out the boxes needed to be shredded, and they will load them up for you. Although front desk receptionist isn't very friendly on the phone, the other staff, such as Jim the scheduling/quotes agent and our driver Jermaine were very friendly and courteous. Our price for disposing of the boxes: $7.50 per box plus $12 fuel fee. Rates may vary depending on the number of boxes you need to dispose of.

The top of the truck hit the side of my house, causing a considerable amount of damage. Thankfully we have a ring doorbell, which was able to catch the truck driving away after the incident. The pieces that broke off and fell from our house had been picked up off the ground, which we believe it was how they tried to cover up the accident. We immediately called the company to speak to someone about filing a claim since this was a textbook hit and run accident. They completely blew us off- never once followed up with us or sent out a representative like they said they would do. We also called multiple times to follow up, which clearly was just a huge waste of time. At this point I will be taking matters beyond them to make sure they are held accountable to the damage they did to my house. I am not a customer of Shred it and now I absolutely never will be. Thank you Shred It for causing me all this trouble over something that should have never happened in the first place. If how they handled this situation is any representation of their value of people or customers, nobody should ever be giving them business.

I am always trying to catch…read morea "Shred day" event in Phoenix surrounding areas in which, there was one being held that I absolutely had to make a visit to. After rushing from picking up breakfast to make it to this event, I ended up being 5 min late but, I ran into the Shred truck driver who was just literally pulling off. The driver was nice enough to stop and accept my bulk. Steve happened to hear me asking the driver if I were too late (in which, the driver seen my tinny bags to Shred, on my back seat, and the driver was nice enough to tell me that he'd pull over to accept them since, I didn't have much). Steve came out to assist with getting my 1 1/2 bag of items shredded for me. I explained to Steve that I was thankful as I had been trying to catch these shredathons and that (although, I'm straight...respectfully) I rushed over after picking up my breakfast in support of Pride Month from an awesome restaurant (I didn't even mention yelp) but, Steve "IMMEDIATELY" asked me, if I by chance, happened to be an "ELITE" (which, surprised me that he'd ask and that he knew about us ELITE yelpers). I was flabbergasted! As we were pouring my recycling into the bin, Steve and I were chatting it up and he then, proceeded to tell me that they LOVED ELITE YELPERS!!! I was absolutely amazed by this acceptance of us, in which, he spoke highly. I recommend that, you guys start shredding your old documents instead of tossing into garbage cans, for safety reasons! ‍ They have locations all around Phoenix surrounding areas and they often have shredding drop off events that are free of charge. I just happened to GOOGLE and found this event. Again, shoutout to STEVE AND THE DRIVER who were extremely awesome humans.I offered to tip but they refused/declined. It never hurts to offer a tip guys. ‍ This location was in a office strip complex which GPS took me directly there, but it threw me off as I was expecting an industrial setting. If I could give zero stars I would…read more From the very beginning there was incompetence, and or poor training, leading to unprofessional and unacceptable handling of my account and mail. I tried to use the online notary several times to get the account authorized in the beginning, and each time I waited a long time, and no one ever became available. I then went and got the paperwork notarized in person and submitted it. It was only supposed to take 2 to 3 business days for acceptance. After I believe five days, I finally messaged to find out what the delay was and my account was approved the next day. A piece of mail, a significant check, arrived at Anytime Mailbox and I requested that it be held so I could pick it up. I then received a message saying that they had already mailed it by accident and tagged it with "my bad" instead of "I'm sorry". Very unprofessional. Photo attached. That item became lost in the mail, and I had to request a new check be sent, and I've only just received that new check from the original company after over two months from when I should have received it. While, I can't hold Anytime responsible for the Postal Service losing mail. My guess is that it was probably miss-handled in someway since all of my experiences with the company have been unprofessional and incompetent. I then got another piece of mail, another check at Anytime and requested several times that it be deposited. I even called into the location and spoke to someone and requested it be deposited. I was told that they had sent me a message, but I never received any kind of message, and there was no place to find messages on my dashboard within my account. At least not that I could find. I then asked that it be sent in the mail. I made this request with great apprehension since they had lost my previous one, but I felt like I had no choice since they were not following through on depositing the check as I requested, again several times. Even though part of the service The advertise is that they will deposit checks. That's why I signed up with them. They finally sent the check after several several weeks of practically having to beg them to take action. I finally closed the account due to the unprofessionalism, and/or lack of training and/or incompetence.

The lady that answered the phone was courteous and informative. I told her what I needed and she…read moresaid that it probably would not work out well for me, as they do not allow clients to meet the mobile shredding truck and they do not allow clients to watch the shredding process (due to privacy stuff). I get that. I was just used to how a different company operates. She did say I probably would not want to drive out so far to drop off my shredding either. It's not that she didn't want my business, but figured I probably wouldn't want to drive so far for shredding especially if there are closer companies. So even though I was not able to give A-1 business, I appreciated the woman who answered being honest, BUT professional and courteous to me.
