PDQ came out to my house three times as well as the owner of the company. there are a lot of HVAC companies out there but you won't find any with five star reviews and there was a reason for that. These guys figured out what was wrong with the air conditioning after two years plus of problems with a brand new home they made a plan they executed the plan and now I've got air conditioning. I was very impressed with PDQ. My A/C stopped working, I gave them a call, and they were able to come out the same day. Turns out the motor on my unit was broken. They fixed it right away. The bill was much lower than expected! Edit - I have to lower my rating. The compressor fan motor was replaced quickly, but they left it unbalanced. It is loud and putting undue stress on the unit. When we called them to come fix it a week later they said that this is how it is and wouldn't fix it. read more

Truly a phenomenal company. During our heat wave here in Phx in mid June, our AC decided to clunk out at the WORST time possible. It was steadily climbing up to 106 inside our 2 story home. I was frantically searching for referrals from people I trust for a good, reliable and fair company and PDQ Mechanical was recommended by a work friend. Roger was able to make it out right away to take a look. He was thorough, went through all our options and gave it to us straight. We ended up replacing our entire AC/furnace and the total bill was beyond reasonable. It's hard to find honest professionals these days so we were so relieved. They made it out a few days later to do the install (poor guys in the 110+ degree attic!) and they were such troopers. I have used PDQ for a few years to do repairs as needed. There were times I needed them right away when my AC went out during the summer, not a fun experience. . When I called for service, they were prompt, kind and professional. They never price gouged me and explain the situation clearly. With summer coming up, I felt it was time to get an entire new everything. The men arrived on time, covered the carpet with plastic and did an amazing job. They even fixed the framework to the attic that a prior, horrible experience left damaged. For several years, I can definitely say this company is reputable, honest, no price gouging, upsaleing and left my home as clean as it was before they came. We had a system that was over 18 years old. Original unit with the home build. Last July our system was not performing as cool as we had liked, and before it went out - we gave PDQ a call. We were provided three estimates for a new unit. We were given all of the information upfront and PDQ managed our expectations very professionally and with no pressure for one unit over another. We were able to get a new TRANE unit at a cost that we could afford. The job was done in one day and completed without any mess. Had to replace 2 old ac units last weekend. Pdq was by far the most affordable, had good quality Trane units, and the installation was painless. They had to fix some things that were done incorrectly when the house was built......and did fabulous. Very honest company and will answer any questions (I had probably 20 +). This company did a great job for us. The previous ac company we had out made it sound like our unit need open heart surgery and we should probably get a new one. Well that means I need a second opinion. Pdq sent out chase the next day and he was able to repair the unit in an hour as well as program my wall units for me. What an amazing company! When the one we'd been using (b/c they were in our church bulletin) couldn't come out and save us from our broken a/c unit, I called PDQ. From the answering service to the regular receptionists Jen and Kristen, they acted like they really cared and did all they could to send us help. George was soon out and so honest. He could help us, but if we were going to replace the unit anyway, his "band-aid" was too expensive. Wow. We appreciate honesty above all else. I canceled the appt we had with the other company to install a new unit and instead scheduled a new unit to be put in by PDQ. It didn't work very well at first, so Chase who was on call came out late on a Sat night and did a quick fix noting that there was a faulty part. He returned on Monday to replace it, only to realize that the whole unit was bad. George and Chase returned on Tuesday replacing it completely and explained things we never knew that would give us better comfort. We will stay with PDQ from here on out. PDQ Mechanical saved me from the midsummer heat. My AC was out for 4 days last week. Three other companies gave me excuses and refused to help. Chase from PDQ came out to my house on a sunday and fixed my AC in minutes. Everyone else was closed. He did not hesitate or complain or make excuses. He just fixed it. I had a home warranty claim and they still gave me great service. They even came back 2 days later to replace the motor because it was showing signs that it was going to fail soon. The only reason it took 2 days was because they had to order parts. I only leave positive reviews when it is earned. I stay away from leaving negative reviews because I do customer service for a living. PDQ has top of the line customer service. You need to call PDQ if you have AC problems. I am extremely impressed with PDQ mechanical. I had some issues with a service company my home warranty sent out. After 7 days with no air in AZ, I got fed up and called PDQ at 4:30 on a Thursday. Chase showed up at my house at 10am on Friday to fix the unit. He did a complete diagnosis and determined that the previous AC company was completely wrong and had the wrong parts on order. He fixed the wiring and replaced a capacitor he had on the truck. He was done quick and was very respectful of our house. I would strongly reccomend PDQ Mechanical. read more

I called at 4:53 PM and talked to a nice lady at the office. She told me she would contact her service tech and call me back. I got a call back within 15 minutes and she told me someone would be at my house between 5 and 7 that same day. By 5:30, Chase was here to fix my air conditioner and was out the door by 6. After a couple weeks of our heat not working due to a thermostat/wiring mistake, I called pdq mechanical, a referral from a family connection. They sent Chase out to help us. I highly recommend PDQ Mechanical. They recently installed a ductless mini-split unit including all the electrical work. The installation was perfect and flawless. Eric, one of the owners, gave the estimate and described the work that would occur. Everything happened exactly as he said it would. He brought a crew with him, including the electrician.
