The main problem and downside is that they are very expensive and overcharge. Despite the Yelp page saying that the company provides a "free estimate", I was quoted $49 for the technician to travel. In addition, if I had not chosen to go ahead with the repair, the company would have charged me an additional $150 diagnostic fee. Essentially, despite the yelp profile stating a "free estimate", it will cost you closer to $200 to get a quote. I see this as false advertisement. In addition, when the technician concluded that the problem was the capacitor, I received a final quote of $600. When I googled the price of the same capacitor online, the price range was in between 75$ - 150$. Essentially, they are charging a premium of at least $450 per replacement for a single part (capacitor). Despite their professionalism and quality work, I do not recommend this company for the reasons stated above. If price is not a concern for you, and you would rather pay twice the market value for a job then you should definitely choose them. EDIT: I actually googled the price of a capacitor and offered to buy my own. I was told that by the technician that if I purchased my own capacitor that the company would not install it. In conclusion, they did not address any of my concerns. Unfortunately, after reading the other bad reviews, there seems to be a consistent pattern of discrepancies between what they tell customers and what they instruct technicians to say on site. Making an honest living is so much more rewarding than making it dishonest living.

Everything was in it...including diagrams and photos. He does a complete breakdown of labor and hardware costs so you can tell what you are getting for your money. If, like me, you are providing the cameras or NVR, he helps you understand where your part ends and his begins. He also was very quick to get back to me and keep in contact as I was making my decision between him an other vendors. In the end, obviously I went with Patrick...and his price was not the lowest in fact. His professionalism was what tilted me in his direction. We made a few adjustments to the proposal so by the time he came in, there were almost no details left to work out. That is always a good sign. I'm very glad I made that decision. Hey and Indy did a great job taking care of our home as they worked. The camera's went up and they look as they they were originally a part of the house design. The doorbell also looks original. I scheduled a service appointment because my heat wasn't working. When Tony arrived, I asked if the issue could be related to work done on my system in August. I went upstairs to turn on the heat for troubleshooting, and before I even made it back downstairs, the heat came back on. When I told Tony I could hear it running, I asked if he had done anything to the system he said "no". I asked more than once, and instead of explaining what might have happened, he tried to sell me a routine maintenance plan, which I declined. I was still charged an $85 service fee. The next morning, I read the service report and saw that Tony had written he "I found that the gas valve was in the off position after place gas valve in the on position system engaged properly and began heating home." He never mentioned the gas valve being off or that he turned it on during the visit. I'm confident the valve was turned off during Logan's previous visit in August when a coil was replaced and welding was done in the HVAC closet. I reached out to Tristan to discuss the report and request a refund. I haven't received a call back from him or anyone else at Logan. Instead, Tony called me. After this experience, I feel less confident in Logan Mechanical's transparency and customer service. I appreciated my first experience, but this recent interaction left me questioning their communication and integrity.
