Amazing place! Talk to Arman or Matiar and they will make sure you are taken care of. Excellent service and awesome prices! We came back after over a year later and they greet us by name! read more

After my puppy destroyed my glasses I needed a new pair asap! We have insurance but they would only let us go to a corporate business, I am new to Dallas, looked for reviews and found this shop. I went to the corporate business and to Payrite Optical, we got such a good deal and service that I decided to forgo the insurance and get my glasses here, The shop does not look very promising from the outside, but don't let that fool you! Inside you will find the coolest selection of frames, from conservative to absolutely wacky to designer. I am over the moon with my new glasses, they fit, they are very pretty, they happen to be an expensive designer brand, but I paid no more than usual. My lenses, which are ''challenging'' and which have always taken something like three weeks, were there in 7 days and I could pick up my glasses at the end of the day. I am not angry with my puppy anymore. And next month I am going to get a second pair ;) read more

Second time to buy lenses and frames. First time was in 2016. In both cases I received excellent advise and prices and fast turn around times. Well worth a call or stopping by to get a quote if you are not familiar with Payrite. read more

Armand is a great guy to get glasses from. I've been doing business with him for a number of years. He's very honest, carries an amazing range of frames for such a small store, and will work with you on the price if necessary. He's picky in his selection, and he's got everything from mundane but nice frames, to expensive exotic designer frames made of wood, and others that are impractically stylish. I guess that's how he pays for his reasonable prices on other services. He hand crafts the lenses to fit, and he can fit any frame even if it's something you bought somewhere else. He also will advise on whether it's feasible or not, since some frames are not meant for the thickness of lenses you might need for really poor eyesight, like -6 diopters for example. He can also make custom polarized non-prescription glasses. If you find some frames you like but they aren't polarized, take them to him and he'll fit some polarized material into them. read more

Excellent service and prices! I have used Payrite Optical for many years, bought more than 20 glasses for me and family. Aman and Mat do a great job, and their prices are very reasonable. read more

This place is amazing. I recently needed glasses asap and used Yelp's suggestion of Payrite Optical as my first stop. The guy in the store was super helpful and nice (I spent about an hour trying on different glasses) and the store carries what must be on the order of 5,000 different frames (some of those being different colors of the same style). There is a wide variety in frame cost too, so you can spend $100 or $700, up to you. As noted by other reviewers, there are deals to be had here. I got my frames and lenses for $249, and the frames themselves were listed as being $298. He had the glasses ready for me in 30 minutes. THIRTY MINUTES! This was the most satisfying 'optical' experience I've had in ever. Definitely recommend you go here if you want to get awesome glasses NOW for a reasonable price. read more

So, I bought a couple of pairs of designer frames online and when I received them, loved them! Only problem was, with the Dallas heat, my face would sweat and bam! My glasses would slip down my nose, not to mention my lashes would brush up against the lenses. Payrite is right behind the building I work at so I decided to give them a call to see if they even added nose pads (many optometrists do not offer the service). The gentleman I spoke with said they did and it would cost $50. Well, it was worth every penny! The service was fast and the gentlemen who work there are pretty knowledgable. They had a wide selection of frames from what I could see, will most likely come back when I need a new pair. read more

I just ordered my third pair of glasses from these excellent opticians. It's uncanny how they are able to pick the perfect frame for me every time. I have been extremely satisfied with the quality, style and service. read more

Very friendly. Free screw and immediate free repair of simple issue. Thank you very much. Wouldn't take any payment or tip. All I can do is write a review. read more

Love me some Payrite....Armand is the consummate professional. Competent, honest, great attitude. I buy all my glasses and sunglasses here. Highest recommendation. read more

When you enter you're greeted immediately with a sincere, and warm welcome, by the owner no less! He had a pleasant smile and willingness to help me find the eyewear of my desires. The owner obviously cares about his business as he takes time in getting to know his customer and their style. He makes shopping fun! He is happy to help you look but if you want to look on your own then you can without feeling that you are under surveillance. There is no pressure to buy, only to help. This is the Mecca of eyewear! If you like to have a choice of frames than look no further. There are glasses of any shape, size, color, or materials that one could ever want. Here you find quality glasses that are reasonably priced!!! I came to Payrite adrift and defeated after going to other locations, including my optical place of choice for years. I left happy ( happy does not do it justice) and 200% satisfied. I know now that customer service still is a virtue for some people. STOP! Look no further, for this is THE place for you. I will never go anywhere else again!!! Hallelujah ! read more

Great selection of frames- many, many more to choose from than the normal chain optical places. Including unique and designer frames. Something for everyone from fashion forward to conservative. Plus very reasonable prices and great customer service. read more

Great and quick service. Wide selection at fair prices, only took 15 mins to get lens and frames.

My mother and I have been happy customers for at least 10 years and even though I live in Fort Worth now, I still return for occasional adjustments and plan to continue purchasing my glasses here. There is a tremendous inventory of frames in a variety of price points. Arman's taste is excellent and I trust him to suggest several frames for me. I get compliments on my glasses regularly. Arman is gifted at fitting and adjusting--just a whiz! Also, it's fun to come here. Both of these men enjoy their work. Two thumbs up! read more

They have a great selection and offer the best price and the very best customer service. Arman, the owner is a funny guy who understands fully the importance of customer service. If you are thinking of getting frames you have to see these guys. They carry designer frames and also have a reasonable selection of less expensive stuff. We have been going there for the last few years and are exceedingly happy with them. read more

We were in town and decided to stop in to see if they carried a rare frame by Prada. It is a small unassuming shop in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. They have a large selection. Even though the frames I wanted were not in stock, Matiar was very sure he could help me find it. Two things about this experience. One, they know that there is heavy internet competition for designer frames, and so with that out in the open they are ready to give Internet pricing. At least that was my impression. Having bought the last 3 frames online, I was pleasantly surprised to get such a good deal. Secondly, they take customer service seriously. That is what really did it for me. He hunted down my frames and mailed them to me (since I live out of state). He seems to do a lot of business this way with many out of town, loyal customers. BEST experience and going to use again. read more

I've been buying frames and lenses at Payrite Optical from Arman since about 1999-2000.... I have to wear glasses daily, so they are an investment, I tend to buy good frames and change them often like purses. When my prescription doesn't change, I buy new frames and lenses here. I've brought frames in that are 10+ years old, purchased here, and Arman always brings them forward in the prescription for me. He never pressures me to buy new or more expensive frames. He knows me as his customer. He sells quality product and the lenses are always perfect. I bought a pair of TryChange glasses from him about 14yrs ago, you can change the nose piece & handles on them... it's like switching out watch bands. I love these frames for dress up. Arman has brought them forward for me twice, they don't even make these changeable glasses anymore. One time I needed Arman to order a replacement magnetic sunglasses for some frames I had purchased from him. The frames were discontinued, and my favorites. He couldn't get just the sunglasses piece, but the kit was marked down so well that he bought 6 of the frames and sunglasses. I bought 3 pairs with sunglasses and had him put the lenses in for me. Armon is competitive and affordable in his pricing, even carrying exclusive frames by big designers. We moved to East Texas near Canton back in 2006.... I still come here to get all my optical needs met. Professional. Quality Product and Service. Competitive pricing (worth skipping using insurance)... I cannot recommend Payrite Optical enough! Arman & Matiar will hook you up with exactly what you need. read more

I am absolutely in love with my glasses! Armand is the man! I got persol frames for a great price. If you're looking for something unique this is the place! He knows what you'll like just by asking a few questions. I love him! And yelling hallelujah after the sale makes it even better. I bought two pair and am already ready to go get more frames! :) read more

PAYRITE IS THE BEST. My husband and I have been going there for many years and have always been so pleased and impressed with the selection, prices and service. We live in Chicago now but we wait until we have a trip planned to Dallas to buy all our glasses. Even if we didn't already have a trip planned it would be worth it to fly in just to buy glasses there. I was back in Dallas this summer and got 4 pairs of glasses and Arman threw in an extra pair of my husband's favorite frames for not much more than what 2 pairs would have cost us in Chicago. This last trip I was having difficulty with my decision until Mathiar chose what are now my all time favorite frames to try on and they were perfect. Arman's delight in his work and his love for his customers makes buying glasses a pleasure. We love you guys! You are the best! read more

When the optical place I used on Lovers closed, I went to Payrite because it was close to me. I was SO IMPRESSED! I learned that Payrite could fix glasses that many stores couldn't. Plus, the owner fixed my glasses immediately because I needed them for a business trip. He was very accommodating and helpful! Highly recommend the store on Greenville and in Plano! read more

Somebody is going to suspect Armand is writing these. No reason to, he does good work, at incredibly reasonable prices, and he does it as fast as you need it. If word gets around, the other opticians in Dallas would be out of business in an afternoon. Spread the word. A friend was quoted $600+ by one of the major major companies. Armand did it for under $100. Me, I lose a pair a month. I buy five or six at a time, he makes that possible. read more

First time going in and this guy hooks me up! Tons of selection and great service! When you walk in tell him JOSH sent you!

Thank you to Arman for his help through the years. I think I've gotten eight pairs of glasses from his shop, and each time has been positive (and fun!) experience. This time I took my new prescription in and got terrific frames for new glasses and sunglasses. Makan did an excellent job of getting the measurements exactly right for my progressive lenses. If you wear progressive lenses, you know how important it is to get the right fit, and mine are perfect. Prices are the best around, too! read more

I'm a very picky person, but was impressed with the wide variety and awesome personalized customer service! Patience is a key factor as well as fantastic pricing. Its rare to find both in one place, you will certainly find them here with Armand. read more

Arman at Payrite optical was so nice and helpful! I came in with broken frames that we were unable to fix so he helped me pick out another pair that suited my budget! They're super cute and fit my face nicely. I'll definitely be back to check out some of their higher end frames. read more

WOW! All of the reviews are right...best place ever! Brought my broken Tiffany frames back to where I got them but was told they were not fixable and since my prescription was more than a year old, I would have to start all over. Arman came up with several solutions for me and 20 minutes later I walked out with new frames and lenses at a great price and will pick up my repaired frames with my old lenses in a few days...he's the best! read more

I went here because of the great reviews they received online and because several people around my neighborhood had raved about them. Armand was not there today, but Matt was and he was terrific, too. These guys are amazing. This is the first time in 30 years that I have walked into an eyeglass shop and not been left to my own devices to wade through a hundred thousand frames to try to find something that works for my eyes, hair, and face. Matt was plucking frames from the displays and handing them to me to try on, one after the other, and each one looked terrific. He then made me a great deal on the cost of the frames, and would have made me a better deal on two. But when I told him I couldn't afford a second pair, he instead offered to replace the scratched lenses on my original pair (the whole reason I needed new glasses) for free. If you agree with supporting local businesses, and especially want to be treated very, very well by people who are competent at what they do to boot, you absolutely should get your glasses done here. I wish I could give them six stars. read more

I went in on Thursday (2/23) because I had fallen asleep with my glasses on and broke them. Although they were not fixable, he told me that he could put the glass on new frames. He actually happen to have my exact frames and gave them to me at a very reasonable price. I was one happy camper. Amazing customer service and earned my Buissness! Will be back again! read more

Not understanding the reviews at all!!! I went there this morning! ( 11-13-2014) Dude was over 10 minutes late! Told me he would make me a deal. Then when I asked about a pair of glasses,he told me he could make me a deal. The regular price for the frame's are $498.00 ! (Just the frames) I told him never mind he couldn't give them to me at a price I would like. He was like give me a chance. He finally said he could give me a pair of frame's for FREE! Free? Seriously? Something wrong there. He was even yelling at me as I was leaving his store. The guy that was there before me waited along time for info. Even told the guy he needed a better way of keeping his files. Would NOT go to this place ever again. Seems to me he like to see how much he can get out of each person. I stupid am I if I would of bought a pair here? From $498.00 to a free frame? I would of spent around $900.00 total I believe. Right after that I told husband, Wal-mart,here we come. Price I paid there? $230.00 for TWO pair!!! read more

I went in to get a repair and they were more than helpful, fixed my glasses for me in about 5 minutes while I waited. They notified me that they might break a piece due to a bend in the metal before they attempted to do so, and ended up bending it right back into place. I just appreciated the fact they let me know they could potentially break my glasses before actually doing it. They have an excellent, almost overwhelming selection of glasses and the staff was extremely helpful. read more

I did a lot of research on Yelp and ran across Payrite Optical. I was looking for new glasses but was shocked at the prices and most places around town. The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up getting some great designer glasses and can see perfectly. They were ready in two days and the fit/vision is perfect. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to get new glasses or old ones repaired. Customer service, selection and quality of work are all top notch here. The shop is not fancy, but who cares. All I wanted was nice new glasses at a good price and that's what I got. Anyone looking for high end glasses in Dallas should look here first and avoid the big box and fancy boutique stores. read more

My husband's eyeglass frame broke on a Friday and he needed to go out of town on Monday. We went to Payrite on Saturday afternoon, were there less than 20 minutes, walked out with a frame that fit his lenses for a very reasonable price. We highly recommend Arman! read more

Made an account just so I could shed some light on these guys. Don't get scammed by this place! Check all the frames online before making a purchase in this store. I checked the reviews before going and thought the place would be legit. Ended up paying almost twice as much as the glasses should have cost and the right hinge is bent downward after closer inspection. Sloppy work and a bunch of con artists. You have been warned. read more

Great prices! Friendly, courteous and good humored service! They have hard to find frames and take the time to fit you right!

I live in Washington, DC and was starved for interesting, affordable frames. An ad on a building lead me to Payrite. Any issue, I call Matiar and connect by USPS. Both Arman and Matt also scrambled to help my very elderly dad in an emergency. For such care, I won't go elsewhere. VERY decent people who derive happiness from pleasing their customers. How exemplary to all! read more
