It was laid out in a manner that made a lot of sense and was easy to navigate. The displays were not over cluttered. You could actually see the products. Everything is straight forward and the merchandising supports the products perfectly. Suitcases. Nothing stands out, shouting, look at how much I can spend. (Five stars actually, but still rating four stars here for this location because did I mention the luggage tag issue?) I have traveled with these suitcases (the Large and Medium) internationally and domestically multiple times plus lots of roadtrips. I recently packed four pieces of my grandmothers pottery (in separate boxes with padding) and it all arrived totally intact after a 14 hour flight. AWAY luggage has proven itself to be super dependable, durable and trustworthy. Rolls beautifully, handles still go up and down smoothly, zippers and fasteners still work perfectly, and yes the exterior attracts scuff marks, but to me that's a badge of travel honor. Still won't set foot in that store ever again, but this company gets a lot of credit for a great product! Worth every penny and then some.

I'm Asian and maybe don't look like the stereotypical AE shopper but there's no need for the up and down looks. When I went to front to collect my online order, they (this blonde girl) kept asking me to verify my identity even after showing them the email. (Why?) Okay, sure maybe it's their job to ask like 4 times. Maybe I'm reading into too much. Then after, I asked if I could go try on the clothes to make sure it was all fine. The lady rudely said "Yeah sure but I'm gonna mark it as picked up so if something doesn't work you're gonna have to just to a return." with a rude undertone and didn't even show me where the fitting rooms were, I had no clue I just wandered around looking for it. She also seemed annoyed and rolled her eyes at me. Like sorry I want to make sure the stuff I get actually fits before leaving? At other AE stores, they typically let me try it on then if everything's okay, they'll mark it as picked up. And they're actually nice about it!!! Even if this is right way to do it and the other stores have been doing it wrong, there's no need to be rude. The shorts I tried on were too big so I went to return them, when I got out of the changing room, all the employees left and I stood at the check out line for like 10 minutes before looking for someone. I get if you're having a rough day but don't take it out on people just trying to go about their lives, please. There's no need to ruin others days too.
