My plan is to get Rx lenses for them; keep your eyes peeled for a review of my eye doctor. I appreciate the laid back, yet super helpful attitude of the staff. I took my regular glasses in for a quick repair, and the manager was happy to help. She was kind, yet honest, and told me what couldn't be repaired. Everything she said was echoed by my eye doctor. The only help I was given was 'contacts and eye glass prescriptions are different'. Yes, no shit. The older lady was very unwelcoming and rude. Typically, when you visit a store, staff are supposed to make you feel welcomed and help you with anything. This lady was the complete opposite. She just spouted nonsense and had a horrible attitude. She would also answer my questions as if she wanted me to hurry up and leave. Please hire people who aren't closed-minded and actually have a shred of compassion in them

The sales associate that helped us was nice and helpful, but seemed a little confused with some of the questions I asked about certain frames and brands. Typically I use LensCrafters or independent retailers but Visionworks accepts my insurance, and I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of brands at this store. Two weeks after our visit I found out that my prescription sunglasses were broken during the production process but I was still able to pick up the other items we ordered. That's when I discovered that the warranty I requested wasn't added to our purchase, but I was still able to purchase that separately. It's now been an additional two weeks and I was told that my sunglasses won't be ready for another two weeks. Initially I was fine with waiting, but the lack of communication regarding this issue was extremely disappointing and off-putting. As a customer I shouldn't have to constantly reach out requesting updates, especially considering the delay was due to a manufacturer/production error. Due to the lack of empathy and communication regarding this issue, I likely won't return.

With that said, Pearle Vision Lewisville made the choice to not refund my money. This franchise business owner has made the choice to keep the frames I purchased and the $1,198 I paid for them. Customer service is good, but in my opinion, their way of doing business is unethical. That's okay... because vengeance is not mine. I am sure this location needs the $1,198 more than I do. I am a true believer in sowing and reaping. Just as this business owner has sown a dishonest profit, therefore will reap a well-deserved loss.
