    Homemade Greek Spreads
    Sara M.

Had a lovely meal here with friends. Service was attentive and the restaurant was comfy. Their Greek food was why we came and it did not disappoint. We shared a couple of dips and I had the chicken souvlaki. A hearty portion with grilled veggies, tzatziki, pita and rice. My friends had moussaka and the whole fish special-both good. And a solid drink list as well. Would definitely return.

Amazing Greek salad with chicken kebab, very reasonably priced and wonderful service! Fun environment for lunch or casual dinner.

Who knew a place with such an American name would have such legit Greek food? We had the taramasalata (very much like my grandmother used to make from scratch), Pita (warm and plentiful), Traditional dolmades, Tzatziki, Mythos beer, Spanakopita, and Mussels. Each dish was excellent. The mussels were the only disappointment. While the sauce was outstanding and dip-worthy, the mussels themselves were small, not firm or plump, didn't hold together, and a bit gritty. This was sort of strange because they should be in season and Maryland is known for outstanding mussels (and crabs, of course). Spanakopita was flavorful and flaky. It was a Goldilocks bake, not too overdone and not too underdone - juuuuust right. Overall, this is a great place and should not be missed if you want some outstanding Greek food. Service was friendly, patient, and accurate. Remember to tip well.

Great Greek food and service. Definitely an older crowd and you typically have to make reservations. We love their Greek salad and soft shell crab when available

After attending a training in Annapolis one of my coworkers recommended coming here for lunch. It was my first time but definitely not my last! Everything was delicious. I started with an unsweetened iced tea and a cup of the lemon orzo soup. I then had the chicken souvlaki platter that came with rice and a side Greek salad. I ended up taking the side Greek salad home since the server brought it out a little late and I was pretty full by that point. My coworkers has the gyro with french fries. The server was attentive and we had everything we needed. There is parking behind the restaurant. I will definitely be back and bring my husband to check it out next time!

First, the portion size was huge. I could not finish it in one sitting. Second, it came with a huge salad, which I was not expecting. The salad was delicious, the Philly was delicious. The fries.....not so much. They were crispy and hard. The salad and Philly were both tasty and packed with flavor. I cannot say enough about this place. They have a wide assortment of food including gyros, salads, soups, wraps, paninis, burgers, skewers/kabobs mezza, and antipasti. They also have worldwide booze, including imported beers. Outside feels like a complete different place (so pick indoor seating). Second, the staff is very friendly. We ordered several of their appetizers for our group and they were all delicious. Their kabab plates were a hit. They also offered a good selection of drinks. Minor thing, and it is from personal experience only: their menus are printed on black paper and in a plastic sleeve. Reminds me of the bad touristy places in Europe. It did not represent how good the food was, because usually we run away from this Massive Plastic menus... so I Joel one day they will update them to something nicer for a better first feel.

All I can say is WOW. My dining partner and I had such an amazing experience here. First of all,…read morethe restaurant is gorgeous inside. We had an earlier dinner reservation so it wasn't as crowded at the beginning but was quite busy at the end. We tried a couple different cocktails and I loved both of mine - Ashta Affair and Asfar So Good. The Ashta Affair was sweet and creamy and the Asfar So Good was deliciously refreshing. My friend really enjoyed his Old Fashioned Date and had a fun experience trying the El Massaya Arak. For appetizers, we ordered Muhamara and Mousakhan Chicken Rolls. The Muhamara came with pita and was such a great dip. The chicken rolls were equally as good with their own sumac labneh dip we enjoyed. For entrees, we shared the Braised Lamb Shank and Makloubeh. The portions were large and the meat was tender. Neither were over seasoned and were absolutely delicious. We couldn't finish it all and saved the rest for leftovers - yum! We wanted to try their dessert and ending up getting the Ashta Bil Asal and Ruz Bil Karaz. The Ashta Bil Asal had cotton candy which made it a fun dessert to try and the Ruz Bil Karaz had a great caramelization coating. Neither were overly sweet which we preferred. It was such a great ending to our meal. I absolutely loved my experience here. Our server, Miriam, was friendly and attentive. We even chatted with the GM, Iman, who also made sure we were provided a great first experience. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone who's looking for a boujee but amazing time!

We started with Arabic coffee and the Harra Wala cocktail--both were really good. The coffee was strong and flavorful, and the cocktail was unique and refreshing. For food, we ordered batata harra, beetroot hadiqa, lentil soup, saffron pita pie, and saffron rice. Everything was solid, but the saffron pita pie and batata harra were probably my favorites. The lentil soup was super comforting too. For dessert, we got the raspberry sorbet and baklava--perfect way to end the meal. The sorbet was light and refreshing, and the baklava was sweet and flaky. Service was great. Our server made sure we enjoyed our meal and was available to explain the menu options and checking on time to time if we need anything. Overall, a great experience. I'd definitely go back!

I'm still not sure if they were making a grain bowl or a modern art installation, but hey, art is subjective. Now, about the utensils. There were approximately 14,379 forks. No knives. Not one. When I mentioned this, the response was... well, let's call it "emotionally consistent with someone listening to whale noises in their head." Very zen. Very Labrador-being-told-about-quantum-mechanics energy. Timing here? It's its own category. Not quite fast casual, not quite slow food. More of a "we'll get there when we get there" vibe. Like a road trip with no map, but at least the music is good. Highlight of the visit? Watching a young man "wash" his hands. One hand at a time. No soap. It was a bold choice -- hygiene minimalism, if you will. The glove application that followed? A true masterclass in confidence over competence. And yet... I'll probably be back. Because despite all this, the people are nice, the place is clean, and even interpretive grain bowls have their charm. Plus, I'm kind of invested now. I want to see if a knife ever appears.
