Great Mediterranean food. Loved the lamb kebab. Super tender, generous helping. Naan was soft and warm. Great appetizer sampler.

I've been eating at the Mediterranean Grill for years and have always appreciated Rahim's wonderful dishes. I tend to get the triple appetizer, but everything I've ever sampled has been excellent. The flat bread is reason enough to go there. Service is friendly, ambiance relaxed. The only thing I regret about retirement is that I'm not in Salisbury every day any more so I don't get to the Med Grill as often as I'd like. read more

The decor is amazing, and very authentic, I think. The owner is very super friendly, remembers a face, and caring. And the food is fantastic. Not to mention the prices. Although the prices aren't on the menu, I can guarantee if you eat here you'll agree that you paid 2/3 of what's it's worth, for you'll not be able to finish your food, and the recipes at least seem pretty authentic (1 can't guarantee those things unless you're from the location the recipes come from, I guess). However, my only complaint: not open for dine-in. For a restaurant to *still* not be open to dine-in 2 years after everything has reopened is surprisingly alone but, on top of that, my first compliment being how great the decor is, one can't enjoy the decor as much if you only do carry-out. If one is concerned about diseases or anything, just open up to 50% capacity. As pictured, there's 4 booths and 1 long table of 8; instead, only open 2 booth, and maybe close the table out altogether (or table of 4). I do know that some former regulars no longer go due to this because they enjoyed the relaxing lunchtime feel (past tense). Don't let this review stop you from eating here, though for, as said, the food is amazing! I ate a Lamb Wrap and drank a Ginger Ale soda; I had to finish the wrap that night, just that filling! read more

The food at Mediterranean Grill is 5 star. It is by far the best and most authentic Mediterranean food in Salisbury. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is a hole in the wall, and I do think it could use some slight interior renovation to add some modern pop. Overall, it has a warm feel, good food, and nice people. We were outside Salisbury and looking for healthy options for lunch. When my online search showed this restaurant, we thought it was a great choice. On arrival we found that they only do take outs and do not have table service. The owner was so nice and incredibly accommodating and suggested we could sit at the tables as long as we didn't mind it being served in take out boxes. Well, that was the most gourmet food I've had in styrofoam containers. The food was outstanding; very fresh and tasty and served in huge portions at a reasonable price. It was so good and even though we had lots of leftovers, we decided to order take outs for the next day. Will definitely go back. It's worth the drive for us. read more

We ordered to-go at the restaurant and the wait wasn't too long. We got the Mediterranean Medley which was a nice way to sample all the appetizers, the lamb kebab, and the Khoresht Ghormeh Sabuzi stew. The stew was the favorite for both of us, it was absolutely delicious. The lamb kebab was pretty good too but the meat and veggie portion was kind of small but we had so much other food so it was fine. The kebabs come with bread and we also got the Tandoori bread & Tzatziki Dip so between the two of those I'm glad we didn't order extra. Right now they're only doing carry out orders but the inside looked really nice when we went in to pick it up and once they have dine in again I'd like to sit down to eat someday. read more

Go here!! This review is long overdue - we've been going here for over 10 years? Since we went to Salisbury University as undergrads. We've since lived in Chicago (the best food town) and metro Detroit/Ann Arbor area (supposed to have great middle eastern/Mediterranean food) and we've yet to find a place comparable to Mediterranean Grill in Salisbury Maryland! The bread and the tzatziki - we just cannot find anything as good. We have to eat here every time we're in town. Some of our other favorites: the lamb wrap, the kebabs: lamb, salmon, kubideh, and the hummus. The rice is great. The spices are so flavorful. And the owner and his family are amazing and remember us even if it's been a few years since our last visit. Please give them a try! read more

One of our favorite local carry-outs for delicious dinners -- we visit every 2-4 weeks. Kyle md of a fusion between Mediterranean and Indian foods. We absolutely LOVE their stews/curries, kebabs platters and ESPECIALLY the lentil soup with extra tandoori bread! Great place to go for a delicious home cooked meal. The bread is made there and served warm with the yogurt sauce. The entree portions are generous, meat is well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I tried the chicken kabob and the chicken soltani, and the lamb shank is so tender the meat comes right off the bone with your fork. I recommend this place. read more

We came across this place en route to Virginia and I feel like we really lucked out! The place seems unassuming, and has a laid back feel as soon as you enter. The owner is patient and friendly and is around to personally serve customers as well. I wish I could give them more than five stars for the food. We started off with their mediterranean medley which includes hummus and grape leaves, served with their amazing pita bread/tahini. Their grape leaves are some of the best I've ever had, and their main course didn't fall far behind. Their gyros and lamb kebobs were delicious. Hidden gem in Salisbury. Best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. I remember having the chicken avocado sandwich and I must at the two ingredients go really well together. My boyfriend had the chicken gyro sandwich and the stuffed leaves. The chicken was so juicy and delicious in my wrap. It was definitely worth trying and the iced tea was freshly homemade too. Very good! I couldn't decide between the lamb or the pomegranate/walnut/chicken stew. Another patron recommended the lamb so that's what I chose and it was delicious- tender with a perfect char, juicy and well seasoned. The accompanying sautéed squash and zucchini were fresh and well cooked although the rice could use some extra seasoning. The owner/manager of Mediterranean Grill is a lovely and kind man. Even though I chose the lamb, he brought out a small bowl of the stew for me to sample. For those of you with a sweet tooth - this is the dish for you! The sauce was rich and flavorful with the sweetness of the pomegranate perfectly complementing the savory chicken. The meal came with a basket of warm, crisp homemade pita bread which was perfect for dipping in the stew. When I pass through Salisbury next summer I will definitely make a return visit. read more

I went to this place with high expectations since it has 5 star reviews (only from 3 people so I should have known better). Best food in Salisbury, really? We got the app sampler with hummus, falafel and grape leaves and it was nothing but salty. We also got the costal and the malibu wrap and it was just a giant loaf of bread with a couple of pieces of lettuce, tomato and onions. When the waiter asked how we were liking our meal, we couldn't hesitate to tell how salty everything was. He did apologize, saying how they outsource the grape leaves. So, it made us think about anything else being made there. We were nice not too hurt anyone's feeling too much. Family and I went here to celebrate my Bday dinner. Don't let the spareness of the place fool you. The food and service were very good and we received the personal service of the owner who has been in the same locale for 15 years. The pita bread pre-meal was hot and very fresh served with a crisp cucumber based yogurt hummus. All 5 in the party went with one form of kabob or another preceded by a garden salad with very fresh vegetables. All the kabobs had an large quantity of meat or shrimp. The beef and lamb were very good, served with steamed broccoli, onion, and green beans. The wife and I went with the spicy versions and recommend that. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include peppers in the veggie serving. No alcohol served so be prepared. Prices very reasonable, dinner for 5 came to $75.
