Family and I went here to celebrate my Bday dinner. Don't let the spareness of the place fool you. The food and service were very good and we received the personal service of the owner who has been in the same locale for 15 years. The pita bread pre-meal was hot and very fresh served with a crisp cucumber based yogurt hummus. All 5 in the party went with one form of kabob or another preceded by a garden salad with very fresh vegetables. All the kabobs had an large quantity of meat or shrimp. The beef and lamb were very good, served with steamed broccoli, onion, and green beans. The wife and I went with the spicy versions and recommend that. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include peppers in the veggie serving. No alcohol served so be prepared. Prices very reasonable, dinner for 5 came to $75. Nice to see Salisbury have some cultural diversity in restaurant choices. Will definitely go back. read more

My family and I stumbled upon this place looking for a place to eat, having never tried Mediterranean before I was skeptical; however after this meal Mediterranean might just be my favorite! Great tasting food at a good price. Enjoyed the medley appetizer, the hummus and bread were also fantastic. Had the beef and chicken kabobs and they were delicious and perfectly cooked. Only negatives for me was the lack of beer and the green neon lights in the front windows quickly got annoying. Would be nice if they could block them out from the inside. There was only one guy working the dining room, but he was very friendly and was working very hard as they were fairly busy. Order a bowl of lentil soup to dip the fresh pita bread in and a salad to start. Order the eggplant mirza for something new. Order the falafel for fresh, light, fried, tasty goodness. Oh man, this was a delicious meal. The stews were clearly treasured family recipes. I had the chicken-pomegranate-walnut stew (!!!) The flavor was unique and so good - a perfect balance of sweet and savory. My boyfriend had one of the beef stews, and he liked that as well. The pita bread was warm and soft too. A small place that's easy to miss, but nevertheless offers great food at great prices. I've been here a couple of times with co-workers and they all agree it's a nice addition to a town that doesn't offer much variety outside of commercial establishments. The salmon and chicken kebabs were delicious. They were served over rice and sautéed veggies. You can tell the veggies are fresh. I've also tried the wraps here. The Mediterranean veggie wrap has feta and hummus. The wrap itself is a pita bread, which they serve with yogurt dip to every table before you order. The tzatziki and hummus dips were tasty. Haven't tried the wraps that come with avocado spread, but they sound like good choices as well. We all enjoyed the felafel appetizer and eggplant mirza. There's something about the eggplant dip that made it especially addictive. You can get both in the sampler. Service was quick and accurate, and conversations are definitely possible as it never gets too crowded. It seems like many people order take out as opposed to dining in. This is our go-to for eating out in Salisbury. The food is absolutely amazing (highly recommend the kabobs or the falafel wrap which is so big it's perfect for left overs). The tzatziki sauce and bread could honestly satisfy me for a lifetime. Really delicious Mediterranean food. I tried the hummus, dolma, and falafel and all were excellent. If you're in a rush it may not be the best place because there doesn't seem to be extra staff besides the owners and they got pretty backed up while we were there but it was worth the wait for the food. What a delightful place to eat. The food is five stars and the ambience is 4 . It is a very reasonably price restaurant. Service is good. We stay in DE and go to the Shorebird games. So this is only about 10 minutes away and worth coming too. We will be there again soon. read more

Probably THE BEST Mediterranean food you could find. The kabobs are always perfect! Their lamb is so tender. Raheem is the nicest person you could ever meet and always makes you feel welcome. Simply wonderful. A grey-haired man appeared from the kitchen, handed me my dinner-to-go, smiled, and said he hoped I enjoyed it. Smells wafting round the restaurant assured I would. Having dined at the Mediterranean Grill many a time, feel like this is passable Mediterranean food (mostly Iranian dishes with a few Italian ones thrown in).
